Moise Kean is a major doubt to feature for Fiorentina against Cremonese, as he was absent from today’s training session with his teammates.

The first Serie A match of 2026 for the Viola will be at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday at 14.00 GMT (15.00 CET).

Kean had been expected to lead the attack, as they try to clamber off the foot of the table.

However, eyebrows were raised today when he was nowhere to be seen at the Viola Park training ground under the orders of coach Paolo Vanoli.

According to reports, Kean was given permission to take a few days off for family reasons, so it is not clear when he will be back in action.
