‘Liverpool can be dangerous in any situation’

Federico Dimarco warns Inter that tonight’s Champions League opponents Liverpool ‘can be dangerous in any situation’ and they’ve got to ‘give everything for each other.’
It kicks off at San Siro at 20.00 GMT.
The Reds are in crisis coming into this match, and have three fewer Champions League points in the table than the Nerazzurri. “Liverpool are a strong team, full of top players, so we’ve got to be on our toes for the entire 90 minutes, as they can be dangerous in any situation,” Dimarco told Sky Sport Italia.
Inter have developed a real Champions League pedigree lately, reaching the Final in two of the last three seasons, albeit defeated by Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
“We saw in recent years that when we’ve had great performances, it’s because we were a team unit from start to finish. We gave everything for each other, and that’s what we need to do tonight too.”
Inter ended last season empty-handed, losing the Scudetto on the final day, the Champions League Final, Supercoppa Italiana Final, and the Coppa Italia semi-final.
How did the squad shake off that amount of disappointment and get concentrated to start all over again under a new coach like Cristian Chivu?
“Simple, we have to take it one game at a time. Every Champions League match is difficult, tonight we were up against a strong opponent and need to be focused,” concluded Dimarco. Inter are fresh off a 4-0 Serie A victory against Como to keep them in third place, one point off joint leaders Napoli and AC Milan.
