Luke Littler has been assured by Madame Tussauds that they will ‘do him justice’ with the teenager reportedly set for his own waxwork model.
The 17-year-old will be hoping to win the World Darts Championship this winter, having missed out on glory to Luke Humphries in the same competition back in January.
According to The Sun, Littler is set to be recognised by Madame Tussauds after a terrific year so far.
He won the Premier League back in May and has risen to fourth in the world rankings, something that was unfeasible just 12 months ago.

Littler has reportedly raised concerns about the waxwork model and whether it will be resemble him.
Yet a source says he’s been assured over the figure, which will be first used at Blackpool before being moved to London.
“Talks are underway with Luke’s team and Madame Tussauds are thrilled that he’s keen to join their ranks,” the insider is quoted as saying.
“In the past year, he won over the nation and they want to celebrate that — and his promising future.
“They’ll launch his figure exclusively at Blackpool’s attraction before bringing it to London.
“He has been joking he doesn’t want his model to look rubbish like some of the dodgy rip-offs, but Madame Tussauds have assured him they will do him justice.”
A host of sports stars have been immortalised at Madame Tussauds over the years.
And the fact that Littler is next up speaks volumes about everything he’s achieved so far – and what might come next.

Speaking before the tournament, the 17-year-old was asked about his rivalry with Humphries.
The pair have been compared to darts’ own version of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, as well as football icons Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
And Littler admitted he was still haunted by his defeat to his good friend at the start of the year, having been leading 4-2 at one stage.

“Regrets? Yeah, probably that double two,” he said.
“I think that just took a sting out of the game. If I’d hit that…that’s the big question, isn’t it? If I hit that, do I go on and win it?
“But I didn’t hit it. That was all down to me, not thinking about it, not sure what I had left.

“That’s what happens if you don’t take your chance with the best player in the world sat on 28 – he will ping it, like Luke did.
“That is one difference I would make because then I’m two sets away and you never know what might have happened.
“But it wasn’t meant to be. There will be plenty of opportunities at the World Championship for the next 20 to 30 years, but it’s probably the biggest dart I’ve missed.”
