Luke Littler could be forgiven for feeling frustrated following his failure to win the Bahrain Masters on Friday night.
But the world champion showed his class by congratulating Gerwyn Price following his shock defeat out in the Middle East.
Littler had gone into his match with Price as the favourite to reign supreme, especially given how he won the World Darts Championship at the start of the year.
Yet he ended up losing 6-2 to his 39-year-old opponent, with his hopes of glory ended as a result.

And the teenager showed class by congratulating Price, saying: “Not my night but great game @gerwynpriceiceman180.
“Heading home for a few days then looking forward to the dutch darts masters.”
Price, after beating Littler, was able to make the final of the competition.
“The hypnotherapy behind the scenes, the psychology in the past, it’s taken a lot of hard work.”
Bunting has won £30,000 as a result of his exploits at the oche.
Price, as the runner-up, has pocketed £16,000.
Writing on his Instagram story, the Welshman reacted to his defeat to Bunting by saying: “Great week here in Bahrain. I’m getting there I promise u. Home time now.”
