Man Utd Women learn 2025/26 League Cup quarter-final opponents

The draw was conducted live on the Barclays Women’s Super League’s official TikTok channel, with Liverpool v Chelsea and West Ham v Manchester City confirmed as the other quarter-final ties.

United received a bye through to this stage of the competition, like Arsenal and tournament holders Chelsea, due to our participation in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.

That meant skipping through the group stage, which concluded over the weekend and saw the other five clubs progress to this first knockout round as group winners.

Spurs topped Group E with eight points from three matches, after victories over Birmingham City and Bristol City followed a draw with Aston Villa, which they picked up an extra point from by winning the subsequent penalty shootout.

The cup clash will see United host the Londoners on back-to-back weekends before the winter break, as we’re due to face former Reds coach Martin Ho’s side in a WSL encounter at the Progress With Unity Stadium on Sunday 14 December.
