Michael Carrick says there is a calmness around Man Utd environment

“Certainly, the building and the set-up and the lay-out and, I have to say, the atmosphere within the building, it’s hugely positive,” he continued. “It’s really welcoming and has been a really good environment to settle into already. 

“I felt that, I felt the love and everyone is wiling to pull in the right direction. It’s been a great place to be in on day one.”

Carrick feels perfectly prepared for what lies ahead, with the Manchester derby on the horizon, taking place at Old Trafford on Saturday.

“As I said, coming into the building and feeling that calmness and the composure, it felt quite normal to me,” he added.
