No clue yet: Chiefs’ Humphrey unsure what to get Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift for wedding

Creed Humphrey is used to solving problems in real time. Defensive fronts, blitz pickups, changing protections, all routine for the Kansas City Chiefs center.

But figuring out what to buy Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift for their wedding That, he admits, might be the toughest assignment he’s had all year.

Humphrey laughed his way through the question during an interview with ClutchPoints, where he was promoting his new Dairy Queen campaign.

When asked whether he had a gift in mind for Kelce and Swift, he didn’t even try to pretend he was prepared.

“Oh man, I don’t know,” he said. “That’s a tough one. I can’t really think of anything on the spot right now. I’ll have to think of something for sure, though.”

It’s a fair dilemma. Shopping for a teammate is one thing. Shopping for one of the NFL’s biggest stars and the world’s most famous musician is another.

And the latest wave of wedding speculation suggests this won’t be an ordinary celebration, making Humphrey’s choices even more complicated.

Kelce and Swift announced their engagement on August 26, just before Kansas City opened the 2025 season. They haven’t revealed a date, but the project around them is already shaping up to be a blockbuster.

Rhode Island estate emerges as the wedding frontrunner

Multiple reports now point to Swift‘s Watch Hill mansion in Rhode Island as the likely location.

The U.S. Sun recently reported she is planning more than one million dollars’ worth of new landscaping on the property, a garden overhaul months in the making, complete with roses, hydrangeas, orchids, peonies, and layers of color for a three day celebration.

The insider described Swift‘s vision as a “wave of flowers” that would carry through the entire weekend, from the ceremony to the bridesmaids’ bouquets.

Among them, Swift reportedly wants to hand out red eternity rose arrangements to her girlfriends, a nod to the bouquet Kelce gave her last year.

Meanwhile, the bridal party is already taking shape. Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez have both been asked to be bridesmaids, according to the same reports, and both families’ mothers are involved in planning sessions that shift between New York, Nashville, and Los Angeles.

The couple had considered Italy and several other overseas venues, but Rhode Island continues to rise to the top. Swift purchased the Watch Hill estate in 2013 for 17.75 million dollars.

With seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, five acres of land, and sweeping water views, it’s the kind of property built for privacy, though it has also generated its share of controversy, from local debates about beach access to this year’s “Taylor Swift Tax,” which increased her already hefty property bill.

For Kelce, the upcoming wedding comes during a tense stretch of the season. The Chiefs sit at 5 5, third in the AFC West, and outside the playoff bracket.

Kansas City has dropped games to Buffalo and Denver, with an 8 2 Colts team waiting next, followed by a Thanksgiving showdown against the Dallas Cowboys. Kelce, however, has continued to deliver, with 50 catches, 631 yards, and four touchdowns through 10 games.

For now, Creed still has time. But as Swift‘s wedding planning accelerates, and as Kansas City’s season tightens, that window may not stay open long.
