Nottingham Forest continue resurgence against winless Wolves while Palace beat struggling Burnley
Nottingham Forest continued their resurgence under manager Sean Dyche with a narrow victory over Wolves, who are still yet to record a win in the Premier League this season.
Igor Jesus headed home in the 72nd minute at Molineux and it proved to be the difference as Forest made it four wins from their last five matches in all competitions.
For Wolves, the season is looking increasingly bleak. The Midlanders are without a single victory in their first 14 top-flight fixtures, leaving Rob Edwards’ side 12 points adrift of safety and eight behind Burnley in 19th place.
Another team in a precarious position at the wrong end of the table is Burnley, who fell to a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at Turf Moor to remain second bottom.
Daniel Munoz headed in from Marc Guehi’s cross shortly before half-time to give Oliver Glasner’s men the lead before the FA Cup winners weathered a late storm to claim the win and end a run of two-straight defeats in all competitions.
For Burnley, it was a fifth successive defeat that leaves Scott Parker’s side with a dismal record of having won just twice in their last 12 league games.
