Premier League Player Ratings and Match Highlights

Arsenal went five points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a 1-1 draw at Chelsea. It was quite a fiery early exchange with three players booked in the opening 13 minutes. If anyone, it was Chelsea who took the game by the scruff of the neck in the early stages. The first-half was a cagey affair, with Arsenal content to absorb any Chelsea pressure.

Although the game very much turned in Arsenal’s favour when Moises Caicedo’s yellow card for a tackle on Mikel Merino was overturned by VAR, seeing the Chelsea midfielder sent off. Chelsea didn’t lose faith, taking the lead three minutes into the second-half through Trevoh Chalobah. Arsenal were level on the hour mark. Bukayo Saka beat Marc Cucurella and crossed for Merino to make it all square.

Chelsea Player Ratings

MixCollage-30-Nov-2025-04-42-PM-7443GK: Robert Sanchez – 6.5/10

In a tight game, he made some important saves, particularly from Gabriel Martinelli as the first-half drew to a close.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 7/10

Went into the referee’s book early on, having been fortunate not to have been booked prior to getting his yellow. Yet the Spaniard refused to hold back, playing in his full running style.

CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 7/10

Got up well to glance a header in via a Reece James cross and send shock waves to Arsenal fans.

CB: Wesley Fofana – 6.5/10

Had to stand tall against Arsenal, with the Gunners having the numerical advantage for the vast majority of the game.

RB: Malo Gusto – 7/10

Put in a real shift for the home side as Chelsea showed bravery from back to front and showed what sort of side they could be.

DM: Reece James – 7/10

Delivered the ball for Trevoh Chalobha to put Chelsea ahead with 10 men, a captain’s performance from the England man.

DM: Moises Caicedo – 4/10

Looked relatively solid but put his team in jeopardy with an overly heavy and offhand tackle that eventually resulted in a red card from VAR.

RW: Estevao – 6/10

Already a firm Chelsea fan favourite, and although he overhit some passes and shots on goal, he was at the centre of things when Chelsea looked to attack, but was brought off at the break.

AM: Enzo Fernandez – 6.5/10

Looked to get on the ball and make things happen, but was incredibly frustrated at the decision to send off Moises Caicedo.

LW: Pedro Neto – 6/10

Struggled to impact the game as much as he would have liked.

CF: Joao Pedro – 6.5/10

Worked hard but wasn’t given any time or space by Arsenal, but Pedro still worked hard until eventually being replaced 10 minutes into the second-half.

SUB: Alejandro Garnacho – 5/10

With Arsenal equalising only minutes after he came on, Chelsea lost momentum, and as a result, Garnacho couldn’t get in the game.

SUB: Liam Delap – 5/10

Got a good 30-minute run out, but his introduction quickly saw the Arsenal equaliser – as a result, he saw little of the ball as Arsenal pushed on.

Arsenal Player Ratings

MixCollage-30-Nov-2025-04-38-PM-7488 GK: David Raya – 6/10

Although Chelsea had long spells on top, Raya wasn’t called upon to make many saves.

RB: Jurrien Timber – 6.5/10

Made some telling challenges, not least on Enzo Fernandez, who looked to arrive late in the Arsenal penalty area.

CB: Piero Hincapie – 6/10

Looked to impose himself on the game in the absence of the Gunners’ first choice centre-backs, although Chelsea fans were screaming for him to be dismissed after a clash with Chalobah.

CB: Cristhian Mosquera – 6/10

Like so many of his teammates, the Arsenal defender had to really dig in as Chelsea took the game to the league leaders.

LB: Riccardo Calafiori – 6.5/10

Looked to get touch-tight on Estevao at every opportunity, but he was another Arsenal player who ended up getting a yellow card for a foul in the first-half.

RM: Eberechi Eze – 4/10

Endured a quiet first-half after last weekend’s heroics against Spurs.

CM: Martin Zubimendi – 5.5/10

Having set the bar so high for the Gunners in midfield, this clash saw him a little wanting, not helped by his early yellow card.

LM: Declan Rice – 6.5/10

Had to scrap and dig in as Chelsea would not go quietly despite being a man down.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 8/10

Saw plenty of the ball as he looked to twist and turn Chelsea at the back. Showed great wide play to beat his man and come up with Merino’s assist.

CF: Mikel Merino – 6.5/10

Took up the mantle up front with Viktor Gyokeres starting on the bench and was in the right place at the right time to score Arsenal’s equaliser.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 4/10

Not the wide man’s best game for the Gunners. Although he had a shot well saved, he really had very little influence on the game.

SUB: Myles Lewis-Skelly – 5/10

Quickly got involved in a bit of argy-bargy after coming on as Arsenal looked to get the winner.

SUB: Noni Madueke – 5/10

Got a special reception from his old side as he was roundly booed after coming on as a substitute,

SUB: Martin Odegaard – 5/10

On for Zubimendi, in what became a very tight game going into the final whistle.

SUB: Viktor Gyokeres – 5/10

Back from injury for the final 17 minutes as Arsenal looked to take all three points, but was unable to really get into the game.
