Leeds United were held to a draw at home by Manchester United in the first Premier League game on Sunday, January 4.

Fulham and Liverpool played out a thrilling draw at Craven Cottage, with two added-time strikes settling the contest at 2-2 and Harrison Reed’s last-gasp stunner the talk of the afternoon.

But that was not the end of the action on Sunday afternoon, with three more games in action at 15:00 GMT.

The Brazilian scored in the scoring in the 11th minute and added his second a minute after Nathan Collins’ 50th-minute header doubled the Bees’ advantage.

Returning from illness, Jack Grealish’s cross provided Beto’s reply for the Toffees in the 66th minute, but Thiago’s third with two minutes remaining meant the playmaker’s assist for Thierno Barry’s added-time goal was immaterial.

Brentford are unbeaten in five league matches and host Sunderland on Wednesday (19:30), when 11th-placed Everton also host bottom side Wolves.
