Real Madrid and Lyon reach agreement over Endrick loan
Real Madrid attacker Endrick has been linked with a loan move to Olympique Lyon for a while, and according to ESPN, the two clubs have now reached a full agreement on the terms of the transfer.
The loan fee the Ligue 1 side will pay to the Spanish giants amounts to €1million. They will also pay a portion of his wages, and he will be given the shirt No. 9. There is no option to turn the deal into a permanent one at the end of the season.
The negotiations between Real and Lyon took several weeks. Endrick is expected to pass his medical and sign the contract with Lyon on Wednesday, in France.
The motivation for the 19-year-old forward is clear: securing regular game time to help him in his battle for a spot in Carlo Ancelott’s Brazil squad for the World Cup next summer. That, of course, is something he wasn’t getting in the Spanish capital.
