Fiorentina are considering the arrival of Cyril Ngonge from Torino, taking over the loan from Napoli, but negotiations are said to be at a very early stage.
The Viola are in dire need of reinforcements as they sit at the foot of the table, so incoming director of sport Fabio Paratici is preparing a revolution of the squad in January.
According to Sky Sport Italia and Sky Sports Switzerland, Ngonge has been proposed to Fiorentina on loan for the rest of the season.
It would involve negotiating with two different clubs, because he is owned by Napoli and currently in the middle of a season-long loan at Torino.
That includes an option to buy at the end of this term for €17m, but the Granata seem to have no intention of even finishing the campaign. The 25-year-old has made 16 Serie A appearances and two in the Coppa Italia this term, contributing one goal and two assists.
Napoli had paid €20m to purchase the right-sided forward from Hellas Verona in January 2024.
