The Qatari side have offered €8m to sign the 31-year-old and naturally proposed a high salary to the ex-Milan defender who is pushing to leave the Olimpico.
According to the report, Lazio and Romagnoli have never been close to reaching an agreement over a contract extension beyond 2027, so the defender wants to join Al-Sadd in January.
Big Lazio changes in January

Romagnoli has been a regular Lazio starter this season, collecting 20 appearances across all competitions. He’s been playing for the Biancocelesti since 2022, when he completed a free transfer from Milan after winning the Scudetto with the Rossoneri.
Lazio have already sold two starters this month: Valentin Castellanos has joined West Ham, while Matteo Guendouzi has moved to Fenerbahce. The Biancocelesti have signed Petar Ratkov and Kenneth Taylor to replace the duo.
