Semenyo prefers Liverpool to other suitors
Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo has been heavily linked with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, and according to TEAMtalk, he has chosen the reigning Premier League champions as his preferred destination should he leave the Vitality Stadium in January.
A release clause in his contract, set at £65million for the upcoming winter transfer window, makes such a move quite possible, and Semenyo could well have all the space he needs to prove himself at Anfield, in light of the problems currently existing between Liverpool and Mohamed Salah – the Egyptian is believed to be pushing for a move away from the club after his fiery interview caused heavy friction between him and coach Arne Slot.
As for Semenyo, he would be open to considering other options should a move to Liverpool not happen, but if given a choice, but at the moment, securing a move to Anfield is his priority. The 25-year-old presented himself in the best way possible to Slot, scoring both goals in his team’s 4-2 defeat at Anfield back in August.
