Semenyo release clause revealed – Soccer News

Antoine Semenyo’s fantastic performances for Bournemouth this season have understandably attracted plenty of top-club attention, and according to David Ornstein, the 25-year-old winger has a release clause in his contract which will amount to £65million in January.

The amount is already well within reach for the clubs interested – Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool – and it will go further down at the end of the season.

Bournemouth would obviously like to keep the player, who has six goals and three assists to his name in 11 Premier League matches so far, but they are believed to be realistic about the situation, aware that they won’t be able to prevent him from leaving if the clause is triggered.

United and Spurs seriously considered moving for Semenyo during the summer transfer window this year, but Liverpool’s interest has grown very much since as they contemplate ways to replace Mohamed Salah for the long term.
