Pisa welcome Atalanta to the Arena Garibaldi this evening as match week 21 of Serie A kicks off with an exciting clash.

It is a tale of contrasting seasons for the two sides, who have seen opposing fortunes, especially in recent weeks.

Atalanta have looked renewed under Rafaele Palladino‘s leadership and currently sit in 7th place in Serie A, whilst also in the midst of an exciting Champions League campaign in which La Dea look well poised to qualify for the next round.

Meanwhile, Pisa have struggled since their return to Italy’s top flight. Despite only losing nine of their 20 games played so far, the same number as 11th placed Sassuolo, Pisa sit in 19th, having won just one time this season – the lowest in the league.

The ten draws are symbolic of Pisa’s struggles with getting victories over the line, whilst also being able to dig in and be resolute when called upon.

Therefore, with three vital points on the line in tonight’s match – both sides will be well up for it.
