Juventus are looking to bounce back after a disappointing weekend in Serie A, and pre-match reports suggest that Jonathan David will keep his place in Luciano Spalletti’s starting XI for Tuesday evening’s match away against Sassuolo.

A full, 10-match Serie A gameweek is in store over the next three evenings, beginning with Pisa vs. Como on Tuesday afternoon and ending with Milan vs. Genoa on Thursday night.

Sassuolo are coming in off the back of consecutive 1-1 draws in Serie A, against Bologna at the end of 2025 and most recently at home against Parma over the weekend

Fabio Grosso is not expected to make too many alterations to his starting line-up, but could bring back Ismael Kone into the midfield in place of Luca Lipani according to the pre-match reports. Alieu Fadera, Andrea Pinamonti and Armand Lauriente are expected to start together in attack once again.

It was a frustrating weekend for Juventus, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Lecce, which has seen them drop six points off the league leaders having played one game more.

Jonathan David earned his fair share of criticism after a poor evening in front of goal, capped off by a failed Panenka penalty attempt, but the Canadian is in line to keep his place at centre-forward on Tuesday night.

There are doubts surrounding the fitness of Manuel Locatelli and Lloyd Kelly. Sky Sport Italia predicts that the former will still start alongside Khephren Thuram in midfield, but that Teun Koopmeiners will start on the left of the back three in the absence of the Englishman.

Kick-off this evening is due at 19.45 GMT.
