Matthew Selt exploded into a fit of rage after losing to teenager Artemijs Zizins in the German Masters qualifiers on Tuesday evening.
The world No 33 has struggled to pick up wins this season, but was hoping to make the main draw of the German Masters for the fifth time in his career.
Selt was given a bye into the second round of qualifying, where he was pipped against rising star Zizins.
The English snooker star pulled off an incredible break of 143 in the match and he took an early 2-0 lead.

But Zizins fought back to take control of the match, racking off four consecutive frames before Selt levelled things up once again.
It set up a fascinating final frame shoot out for a place in the main draw of the German Masters.
Zizins was on the cusp of victory when he left himself a tricky red into the green baulk pocket while using a rest.
He missed the pot, but the red rolled along the cushion into the yellow baulk pocket with Selt reacting furiously in his chair.
Selt screamed, “Oh my god!” and slapped his legs in anger as Zizins hung his head in an apologetic manner.
The referee confirmed that the game was over with Selt 32 points behind and only 27 left on the table.
Zizins continued his break with Selt continuing to let out his frustrations in his chair.
Selt then got up out of his chair after Zizins potted the yellow to congratulate his opponent, despite the Latvian still being on a break.
