Clarets boss Scott Parker is keen to welcome Lyle Foster and ex-Red Hannibal back into the fray after they were knocked out of AFCON. Axel Tuanzebe, another United Academy graduate, is still away, though, and fellow defender Maxime Esteve has been battling to be fit in time.

“Hannibal will come back,” said Parker at his press conference to preview the game. “He came back this morning and trained this morning so, hopefully, we’ll have him available. Lyle will fly in tonight, it’s long travel so we’ll see how he gets in, whether he’ll be available tomorrow. Everyone else, it’s how we were really.”

Josh Cullen’s long-term absence is a blow to the hosts, with Zeki Amdouni, Joe Worrall, Zian Flemming, Jordan Beyer and Connor Roberts also sidelined.
