Grand Slam finalist Casper Ruud has invested some of his winnings in property, and has now gifted two to his younger sisters.

Tennis star Casper Ruud has reportedly generously gifted his two younger sisters a penthouse apartment EACH as an early Christmas gift. The 26-year-old is said to have transferred the properties to his sisters free of charge.

Norwegian outlet Nettavisen report that the apartments were bought by Ruud back in 2021 and 2024 respectively. The ATP world number 12 has used his income from the sport to invest in several different properties. Over his career he has earned total prize money of $26,128,848 (£19,743,741). He is also likely to have extra income from potential sponsorship and commercial deals.

Ruud is reported to have paid fees of NOK 5.2million (£390,000) and NOK 6.45million (£480,000) for the two apartments.

Documents are now reported to show them transferred to his sisters, 25-year-old Caroline and 19-year-old Charlotte.

The younger of the two sisters is looking to follow in her brother’s and father’s footsteps by making it in tennis.

She is currently part of the Rafael Nadal Academy and has appeared in Futures tournaments.

Caroline, meanwhile, is active on social media where she shares fitness, lifestyle and travel content to her followers.

Ruud was last in action back in October in the ATP Masters 1000 in Paris. He lost against German Daniel Altmaier in straight sets at the round of 32 stage.

He is yet to win a Grand Slam, but has appeared in the final of two French Opens and a US Open. He lost to Rafael Nadal (2022 French Open), Carlos Alcaraz (2022 US Open) and Novak Djokovic (2023 French Open).

He didn’t appear at Wimbledon this year, after picking up an injury during the French open. He later announced it was due to his fiancee Maria Galligani expecting the couple’s first child.

“Let’s just say I didn’t play Wimbledon this year, and it was time to do something different,” he said.

“So we got something special coming this year, yeah.

“I have to say, yeah (laughing). Did some off-court work, and we’re ready for next year, an exciting next year.

“That’s why I didn’t go to Wimbledon. Everyone wondered.”
