This weekend’s Premier League predictions

Estimated read time 2 min read

This is the time of the year when games start coming thick and fast and by the end of Xmas we can start to have an idea of the title challengers and who looks set for relegation.

Each week along with footballing legend Clive Allen I’ll be attempting to predict the week’s results and we’d like you to give us your predictions too.

It’s been a funny old season, as someone nearly said, many years ago. The champions, Manchester City have been faltering, Liverpool have been excellent under Arne Slot and Chelsea seem to be enjoying a prolonged new manager bounce under Enzo Maresca (but when you’ve spent in excess of £1 billion on players, you should be doing well!)

At the other end of the table, Southampton and Wolves have had horrible starts to the season and as we head in to Matchweek 16 they’ll be desperate for points.

Some great games this week with an East Midlands derby between Forest and Villa, a relegation 6 pointer with Ipswich travelling to Molineux against Wolves, the Manchester derby and a West London derby at Stamford Bridge when Brentford travel to Chelsea.
