Tim Sherwood took aim at what he described as a “disgraceful” refereeing call, which could have cost Tottenham Hotspur against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.

Former manager Sherwood had his say on the call on Sky Sports, dubbing it a “disgraceful” decision.
“It’s a disgraceful decision to rule out the Tottenham goal. It would never have been ruled out in the Premier League.”
Eventually, Spurs got the job done despite the contentious refereeing call, but Frank will be well aware that he needs all the luck he can get in North London right now.
