Tottenham fans have criticised James Maddison and Brennan Johnson for watching the World Darts Championship, just hours after their 2-2 draw with Wolves on Sunday.
Both players featured in the showdown in north London, which ended in dramatic circumstances due to a late equaliser from Wolves star Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Tottenham have now failed to win their last three league games, having also lost to Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.
But despite their season going from bad to worse on Sunday, that didn’t stop Maddison and Johnson from watching the World Darts Championship unfold at Alexandra Palace.

While both players are entitled to enjoy themselves, supporters on social media have been left unimpressed by their actions given Spurs’ poor form.
One user simply described their behaviour as ‘shameful’, while a second said: “They care less than we do.”
Another stated: “Just shows the attitude.. they are paid obscene amounts of money win or lose … what do they care??”
A fourth fumed: “Maddison showing up at darts more than he is in a Tottenham shirt.”

And a fifth raged: “Can’t be a***d to play football properly so they can rush off to watch the darts!!”
Many other supporters were quick to defend the pair, however.
One wrote: “They had to play every game since December, give them a break.”
Another jumped to their defence by saying: “Watch how they get canceled for having a breather post game. According to some they should be at home re watching the wolves draw and crying.”

A third wrote: “Never gone to the pub after a bad day at work?”
And a fourth opined: “Fans are gonna turn on them but I think it’s good to enjoy and reset sometimes.”
Meanwhile, pressure is mounting on Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou after another underwhelming day at the office.
And the Australian has vowed to ‘keep going’, despite fans booing and jeering the team from the field following the draw against Vitor Pereira’s side.

“I’ll just keep going. We’ve got work to do and try to get some help for these players and our role is to try and give them everything we can, the support we can, to perform at their best,” he said.
Postecoglou also stated: “It hurts me because I’m responsible ultimately.
“I’m the person in charge. So of course it hurts.
“When I see how hard they are trying, it hurts even more because you want them to get a reward and I think they deserved a reward for their efforts even though they were dipping into their reserves of energy.
