Tyson Fury sends direct warning to Anthony Joshua ahead of Jake Paul fight
Tyson Fury has sent a fresh threat to Anthony Joshua as the bad blood continues between the two heavyweight stars.
Joshua returns to action on Friday for the first time since he knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois in September 2024 when he faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in Miami, Florida.
During fight week ahead of the event, Joshua was asked about the concerns over the mismatch, and answered by stating ‘if I can kill you, I will kill you.’
AJ’s long-term rival Fury has now shared a fiery response to those comments, posting on his Instagram that he would knock AJ ‘spark out’ the next time he sees him.
“I’ve just been sent a video of Anthony Joshua talking about if he kills somebody he kills somebody in the boxing ring. He’s a little bit long in the tooth to be talking sh*te like that.
“He’s 37-year-old at the end of his career fighting a YouTuber, a Disney Channel guy who Tommy beat, and now he’s talking about killing him and all that to try and sell.
“Please, you’re barking up the wrong tree you idiot. Here’s a fun fact, if I ever come across you bum, I’m knocking you dead spark out. I ain’t a YouTuber or a man half your size. I am him, the man.
“You’re a classless loser, coming off a 15-month knockout defeat to a local lad. Imagine if someone from Morecambe knocked me out. You big bum useless dosser. I can’t wait if Jake Paul knocks you spark out you big bum.”
Joshua and Fury have been linked to a fight with each other for a number of years, with it reportedly now set to finally happen in 2026.
The recent comments from Fury show that there is still no love lost between the two men, but first Joshua but deal with Paul this week.
