Tyson Fury has been told that his corner was a ‘shambles’ during his first fight against Oleksandr Usyk, where he lost his first career fight.
That is the opinion of former British boxer Anthony Crolla, who also has insisted that Fury’s father John will be under strict instructions at the rematch.
Fury will face Usyk in a rematch on December 21, having lost against him on May 18 earlier this year.
That also saw the 36-year-old lose his WBC heavyweight title, as Usyk became the undisputed champion.
Tyson Fury needs one strong voice in his camp, says Anthony Crolla

There were criticisms of Fury after the fight, largely directed at his corner for the mixed messages being sent from multiple people – including head coach SugarHill Steward, trainer Andy Lee and his father John Fury.
And Crolla, speaking to Razed, believes that the Gypsy King cannot afford to let his corner scramble his head again and he needs one definitive voice speaking to him.
The fellow Mancunian said: “There’s no denying last time that the corner of Tyson was a bit of shambles.
“You had a lot of great boxing brains in there but there’s no denying that the corner was a shambles.
“There might be one voice this time in the corner with SugarHill Steward who is the head coach, Andy Lee who has a great brain, and John Fury who knows his son very well.

“When it’s time for Tyson to sit down in the corner, it might be time for one clear voice, and I believe that’s how it should be.
“I think Tyson will win the rematch, and I have always said I believe he is the best heavyweight in the world.”
One man who has drawn plenty of attention to himself is Fury’s father, John, who headbutt a member of Usyk’s team during one heated press conference in the build-up to the first fight.

Fury Sr has been somewhat more restrained this time round, though he was up to his usual antics alongside his other boxer son Tommy recently.
And Crolla has insisted that the Fury team might have to put a muzzle on the outspoken patriarch.
The former WBA lightweight champion said: “It’s a hard one because Tyson likes his dad’s opinion and big John got a lot of stick but means well.
“Emotions took over and that’s natural where I’ve seen it before and it’s hard to be emotionally attached to someone, but you have to separate it.

“John will probably admit he got a little bit involved and the build-up to the fight with the famous headbutt didn’t help Tyson whatsoever.
“I’ve always got on with John but the incident with the headbutt made a few people turn towards Usyk who was fighting Tyson Fury, and Tyson may have thought a lot of people who should be backing me are against me.
“I don’t think there is anything wrong with John Fury being in the corner but if he is, I believe this time he will be under strict instructions to not be voicing his opinion over the head coach or Andy Lee.”
