The striker was trapped in his Ferrari for nearly an hour before emergency services could free him from the vehicle.
He was immediately taken to hospital where he underwent surgery on Sunday morning for what West Ham described as a “lower limb fracture.”
The proceeds from the auction will be donated to medical charities, with the club’s board pledging to match all funds raised.
This initiative demonstrates the club’s commitment to giving back to the medical services that provided crucial care to their injured striker.
West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen spoke emotionally about Antonio before the match, highlighting the striker’s importance to the team.
