West Ham United are progressing in talks to sign Lazio forward Valentin Castellanos, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.
It’s been a busy couple of days for the Hammers as they aim to bring in multiple attacking reinforcements after a disappointing start to the season. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are currently sat in 18th position in the Premier League table, four points adrift of safety.
The January transfer window has only just opened, but West Ham aren’t messing around as they desperately fight to try and stay in England’s top flight. Nuno could be under pressure after failing to get a tune out of his squad since his arrival, but the board appear to be backing him in the market to give him more tools to work with.
West Ham Eyeing Another Forward
According to talkSPORT reporter Crook, West Ham are also making progress in talks to sign Lazio forward Castellanos.
West Ham are also on the verge of signing striker Pablo from Gil Vicente, while Adama Traore is set to join on an initial six-month deal, GIVEMESPORT correspondent Ben Jacobs has reported.
