FC Barcelona now turn their attention back to the Copa Del Rey with a trip to Racing Santander on Thursday following their Spanish Supercup conquest over the weekend.

Barcelona lifted their second consecutive Spanish Supercup title on Sunday with a 3-2 win over Real Madrid in Saudi Arabia, led by a Raphinha brace.

The victory marks Barca’s first title of the 2025-26 campaign, and the fourth piece of silverware won during Hansi Flick’s leadership.

The Blaugrana also lead the pack in La Liga, enjoying a four-point lead over Los Blancos with 19 games played. The Catalans are currently riding a 10-game winning streak in all competitions.

Barcelona saw off Guadalajara in the Copa Del Rey Round of 32 to book their last-16 clash with Santander.

Racing, meanwhile, stunned Villarreal — who sit third in the La Liga standings — in the last round of the league cup. The Racinguistas currently sit atop the Segunda Division with 38 points through 21 games — tied with second place Las Palmas but ahead on goal differential.

Barcelona and Racing Santander last met in 2012 in La Liga, with the Catalans enjoying a 2-0 win. Barca have won seven straight against Santander, keeping a clean sheet in their last six meetings.

FC Barcelona Team News and Predicted Lineup

Flick will surely look to rotate his squad after Sunday’s final, giving his top stars some much-needed rest.

Ronald Araujo is expected to get a run-out at center-back for a rare start, while Marc Casado could replace the suspended Frenkie De Jong in the heart of midfield alongside Pedri.

Niether Lamine Yamal, Raphinha or Robert Lewandowski are expected to start, making way for an attacking trident of Roony Bardghji, Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres.
