Wolverhampton Wanderers may be undergoing their own exodus at present as a result of their horror show in the first half of the Premier League campaign – but there may be one incoming in the form of youngster Harry McGlinchey.

Rob Edwards came into Molineux after a 3-0 defeat to Fulham in early November, which saw the Cottagers stranded on just two points from 10 games in the top-flight. Although he failed to win any of his first eight games, the former Wales international has gone unbeaten in his last four games.

However, although it’s likely too little, too late in their quest for Premier League survival, the club are already planning for the future with a move for McGlinchey being lined up.

The 18-year-old has been told that he can leave the Blues this month, and although a sell-on clause will be included in any deal taking him away from the west London outfit, Wolves are in that race as one of the three frontrunners.

A further report by O’Rourke on Football Insider states that Wolves have made an approach for McGlinchey as they look to plan ahead for the future.
