World Cup 2026 Draw in Full

It’s official, all 12 groups for the 2026 World Cup have been drawn in full, with plenty of mouth-watering fixtures set to take place on the biggest international stage. The USA, Canada and Mexico-hosted tournament is the biggest in history, with a staggering 48 nations taking part.

The 23rd edition of the competition sees powerhouses such as Brazil, Argentina, Spain and France all gunning for the biggest prize in world football. Meanwhile, Curacao and Cape Verde are among a handful of newcomers to the tournament.

England and Scotland have already secured their places at the 2026 World Cup, with Wales, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland all still in with a chance of qualifying via play-offs.

Will Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo end their unbelievable careers on the international stage with the World Cup trophy in their hands? Will Kylian Mbappe or Lamine Yamal cement their places as the best players in world football and drag their respective countries to glory?

We still have over six months to wait to find out, but the bigger picture has certainly been made a lot clearer with the draw on December 5. All 12 groups can be found below, including England’s and Scotland’s.

World Cup 2026 – Full Group Stage Draw

Group A

Mexico will kick off the World Cup against South Africa in the opening match, and one of the tournament’s three host nations has been joined in Group A by the Korea Republic and the winner of European Play-Off D (Czechia/Republic of Ireland vs Denmark/North Macedonia).

Canada’s World Cup begins in Group B and they take on the winner of European Play-Off A (Italy/Northern Ireland vs Wales/ Bosnia and Herzegovina). They will also collide with the 2022 host nation, Qatar, and Switzerland.
