That is a slick looking rack guys, nice work. I recently installed a rack as well, and I believe they have much cleaner look than just a stand. Great video…cheers!

My dad is the reason why i'm sitting in a room full of speakers, he never had a rack like you did, but it started a life long love of all things audio for me.

Hey guys great video. Thanks for doing it. Sad though the rack is not at that lower price anymore. I keep watching for it. About the Audioblast XLR to XLR cables which model did you really get? It was hard to tell in the video and the link you posted was generic vs directly to the product. There is Eminem E311 and E312 or did you get the connectors made by Amphenol AX3M and AX3F? Thanks guys

  12. @hopkinsag1

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Do you have a link for the light at the top of your rack?

In regards to you acinfinty rack fans, did you put an intake at the bottom of your rack and the rest exhaust fans? Thx.

  16. @southpawle641

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Hey question guys. Since you have an open rack, are your cloudplate t7 intake or exhaust? Or both?

  17. @levarwilliams

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

With the fans installed, did you add the glass case?

  18. @truthhunter4270

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

I have 9 channel receiver and a 5 channel amp running my front stage. I noticed in the video you said you never plug your amps into a power conditioner. So my question is, should I or should I not plug my mentioned equipment into my power conditioner? Thanks

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

well done , good job bravo

  22. @Espiritiv

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Just one comment on rack designs. You mention you went with open rack for "better airflow" in reality a closed rack is best because you want to promote a chimney effect, by drawing cool air from the bottom and exhaust hot air out the top. This is also why rack mfrs sell slot covers for the spaces not in use. You want to keep those sealed. Id go with at least covers on the sides, and you can draw air in the front and exhaust out the top

One question though. whats your total budget cost on that Rack with all the extra rack parts you had to buy? Trying to compare building it myself vs buying prebuilt rack with all the shelves, and two fans in it, and some cable management included.

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

I watched this video when it came out but didn’t comment. This video is awesome. I’ve been thinking about a rack but had no idea how to get started. The make, models of everything is much appreciated. Good work.

  24. @FrankieKennethL

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Hello guys, Great work on this Rack build. Could you please elaborate on what comes with the rack purchase itself? Does it come with any shelves or drawers?

  25. @gmartin0312

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Wow glad I ran into this video! I was thinking of getting a rack since my media console is ok by like you mentioned, its a rats nest back there and to move anything is a chore. So this is just a server rack. I don’t have as many components as you have.

  26. @thecheps8519

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Heyy so I just got into A/V but I was looking at your rack, looks really nice props. I do have a question, why do you have so many fans in your rack? Can’t you just put a fan on the top of the rack facing downwards to cool down the rack?

  27. @extramail850

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Power conditioners and great cables actually make a big difference

why don't you plug amps into power conditioners?

I hope someone can answer this. how many total watts does this full setup draw?

  33. @salvatorecarapazza248

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

I've watched this video at least 3 times. A lot of great info and it just looks bad ass to have everything nice and clean in a rack. I want to do a rack build so bad. I'm sick of the rats nest of wires in my media closet.

  34. @manoroid1

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

    Awesome build guys.

Are your cloud plates all exhaust or intake or mixed

  35. @glennchaffin8446

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Why do you not like using a power conditioner on your Emotiva amps? I had planned to use one on my AV setup. Thanks

  36. @historyupinsmokecigarchato4036

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Why don't you plug your amp into line conditioner? I'm just curious. Thanks!

Why don’t you plug amps into power conditioners?

  38. @kingarthur4419

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Hello. Great video. I also have the same Emotiva amp that I’m looking to rack mount. That amp weighs a good 35 pounds. Will it hold up with just 4 rack ear mount screws in the front, or did you put it on a heavy duty shelf as well?

  39. @shahross8366

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Was that an AC Infinity PDU at 2:15?

  40. @pinarellorider9023

    November 4, 2024 at 4:29 am

Killer setup, guys! You've given me some great ideas for when I'm ready to step up to putting my components into a rack.

What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX — interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything — be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.
