    And someone who's worked around generators for a long time. That is called default alarm alarms with the generator has come up with a default like low battery voltage water in the diesel fale to start.

    Being under an antenna is actually the safest spot because unlike isotropic antennas that radiate equally in all directions, other types of antennas including the ones in cellphone towers radiate in a specific range that varies from type to type of antenna. Under a certain radius from where the cellphone tower is you are in the blind cone of the antenna, that means the electromagnetic waves of the antenna “don’t get you”

    Dumb on the engineer standpoint. No use putting an audible alarm on something if no one (that can do anything) will be around to hear it. This is just the shortsightedness I see in techs, engineers, and management now adays. Pay is too little, BS you have to put up with is too high, so people that are smart enough just try to do something else, or stick around and settle for whatever keeps people happy in the short term.

    I was going to say, before watching this, I was thinking to myself, there are a many potential sources for that noise. Besides alarms, you have fans of all sizes cooling components and what not, all it takes is one wire or bit of debris to rub against a fan blade. Also, when radios and transformers fail, it is not impossible for them to make audible noises. This is because electricity and devices that resonate and broadcast RF signals vibrate on a small level. This is the reason you hear a hum next to HV transformers, and also why you hear your video card screeching when changing voltages rapidly while passing high wattage. The tiny magnetic components vibrate and make sound.

    Don't worry though, what you hear is completely normal for the design usually. It is in an engineer's best interest to reduce this vibration because besides the annoying noise, it also means there is increased heat. Also, that sound means energy is being wasted by being allowed to convert to thermal or sound energy.

    It’s the nuts that claim 5G is a death ray ! Cell towers put out less than one watt of power . Living by a high voltage transmission line gives you a lot more RF off it than a cell station does step under one hold up a long fluorescent tube it will light up ! Don’t touch the ends ! You will get zapped .

    As an extra class HAM and someone who’s worked with TV and radio as a volunteer broadcast engineer…yes, such people exist…I’ve been around RF energy all my life…it’s more dangerous driving to and from the station than being around the equipment. Heating is the main danger of RF. The waves are millimeters to kilometers in length that we work with…in no way small enough to damage cell’s DNA. 🧬. It’s NOT ionizing radiation. Ultraviolet, X-rays, and Gamma Rays…those are what’s dangerous in the way this guy is talking. RF causes burns.

    If you live within 2 miles of a tower… move to an area without cell towers.. they are a bio weapon and will kill you. Period. There is 30 years of research on this…

    That guy is clueless. As mentioned, it was an alarm. Telecom is full of such alarms. It has nothing to do with anyone's health or the signal. When equipment fails, an alarm is generated and there should have been a remote alarm at a manned office. I used to work for a telecom and many years ago, I often heard such an alarm and it meant nothing more than someone had sent a message to me over the order wire. Back then, there were minor alarms and major alarms, which sounded different. In the central offices where I worked, when you heard an alarm, you'd go looking for a light that was on. There would be a light at the end of each row of equipment, at the top of the rack where the equipment was and then on the failing equipment. These days, they have more detailed alarm reporting.
