In this video I create a new backup server from a Dell EMC PowerEdge T640 with 18x 20TB Seagate Exos refurbished drives. Also there’s some more ranting about backups in general. But idk, there are chapters so you can skip to whatever. And it’s not technically a server, in that it doesn’t serve files. It’s really more of a client that takes files from other servers and holds onto them. But I call it a backup server because hardware-wise it’s a server. Anywho, that’s the description. It’s probably not optimal for the YouTube algorithm, but hey, I’m not an influencer even though I have a TikTok account that I don’t use.

During the initial startup of your new Dell Server, you have to configure the iDRAC to be able to manage your Dell PowerEdge server remotely. In this video you will learn how to configure the iDRAC9 of your Server for the first time.
The iDRAC 9 is configured with a default IP which you can change during the initial setup.
You can access the iDRAC via a dedicated Network Card or the LAN on Motherboard after it is configured.

Leslie Lamport revolutionized how computers talk to each other. The Turing Award-winning computer scientist pioneered the field of distributed systems, where multiple components on different networks coordinate to achieve a common objective. (Internet searches, cloud computing and artificial intelligence all involve orchestrating legions of powerful computing machines to work together.) In the early 1980s, Lamport also created LaTeX, a document preparation system that provides sophisticated ways to typeset complex formulas and format scientific documents. In 1989, Lamport invented Paxos, a “consensus algorithm” that allows multiple computers to execute complex tasks; without it, modern computing could not exist. He’s also brought more attention to a handful of problems, giving them distinctive names like the bakery algorithm and the Byzantine Generals Problem. Lamport’s work since the 1990s has focused on “formal verification,” the use of mathematical proofs to verify the correctness of software and hardware systems. Notably, he created a “specification language” called TLA+ (for Temporal Logic of Actions), which employs the precise language of mathematics to prevent bugs and avoid design flaws.

Why do people still talk about APE? APE is going to be zeroed out and the Hedgefunds will have successfully stolen half our shares and money. Lou has been correct since the beginning and we all know it, but pissed because he gave us shitty news. People don’t want to hear the truth if it does not benefit them. Grow up people, the truth is not always good to hear. I’m still holding my 2000 shares and will not sell until I get my number, but you can stop thinking that APE is going to make you a dime. We received APE at $10.50 a share, it’s now $1.42. Adam Aaron is a dickwad and everyone should know it by now.

CSI…I have called them twice…different questions…they actually have two programs…Pure DRS and a DRS Plan…they say that they are for long term investors as Limit Orders can be delayed 2 days…the problem arises if you execute Sell Orders through your broker or using email…they take too long for a squeeze investor…they do have a website as well…they will move the maximum limit order amount lower due to risk…it is 3,500 now…it used to be $9M!…I asked them if they verify the shares transferred to them from our brokers…they said no they do not verify…I asked if the DTCC does not have a stock certificate what do you do when my shares are transferred? They said they will reject the trade…all said there are a LOT of moving parts!

CSI I agree with all you have said and because of the rift in the APEVerse I don’t butt heads with DRS adherents…I just got on Twitter the last two months and see what all of you have been saying…I did find out that CS is a transfer agent and cannot act like a broker…they have to use a nominee broker(s) accepted by the SEC & DTCC…

This is not FUD. When I conducted a search for Hycroft Mining on Computer Share they do not have a listing for it.
They do have listings for $AMC, and $GME.
You can purchase $AMC and $GME through Computer Share.
If Hycroft Mining is listed under a different symbol please let me know.
I DRS my APE, AMC, and GME. I hope I made the right decision. My IRA still sets with Fidelity. It has AMC and APE in it. I may leave that where it is.

I suspect only u.s residents can only purchase at c.s ?? Also I cannot understand how c.s will be able to facilitate in accommodating amc shares if all real amc are bought up, if that makes sense ?

Question: If an AMC DRS'd share is on their platform and you sell, is DRS buying it back from us and then selling it on the open market……or would the buyer be buying our DRS'd share that they have to register as their own? Basically Im asking if it would slow down the sale and they might claim they could only pay the market price. Hope that makes sense……

Looks like continental stock transfer & trust company is the transfer agent for HYMC. Can any one confirm this? And if it works the same a Computershare?

Did you watch The Butcher of Wall Street about DRS? He has excellent DD about Computer Share. Do not buy stocks through Computer Share. They also have a cap on what they will pay you for a stock.

They have a sell MAX limit of $3,000 per share. If price goes to $5,000 or $10,000 most you can sell for us $3,000

If they buy ALL of Adam's APE and try to convert it through a vote, we still have the upper hand! If they can vote their APE so can we. AMC float + APE float is over a billion votes and if you throw in all the synthetic share votes how many billions of votes do the retail investors have??? If we get the "you must vote" message out there now, by the time the vote gets here it wont stand a chance.

Thanks Rooster: that's exactly what I do with computer share-it's my brokerage that I use for holding stocks that I plan to hold on to for dividend purposes only.

Computershare had 2 different of my stocks in my portfolio. I didn’t hire them to hold my stocks, Microsoft and Bank of America uses them to hold my stock. I moved and my BOA mail was forwarded but my Microsoft mail was not forwarded. Computershare sold my Microsoft shares off at a loss and sent the money to the government as lost money. I’ve been holding on to my stock certificates thinking my stocks are safe only to find out 15 years later that my stock that would be worth $11k today were sold at a loss 15 years ago for only $1,000. Why did they sell them? They knew where I moved to because they still had y Bank of America shares in my portfolio. Do I have any legal recourse???

I got a computer shareholder trust and tried to ask them if I can sell and get check for amount. I haven’t got an answer.
