    I want to install a solar system in my van for work purposes ( drive to work, park, and just sleep in the van) I live in a cooler climate with an extreme and unlikely low of negative 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Is there a battery solution yet that will work in the event Temps hit that cold?

    I don't want to be running a diesel heater in the vehicle when I am away from it and see the low of lithium batteries being negative 4 degrees Fahrenheit for bms operation.

    Any advice or insight is appreciated.

    Plz help me i have one question
    If i have 102ah eve lfp cell totall of 8 cell
    And want to make 12v 200ah battery
    Like need 2cell parallel mathed to make 12v 200 ah battery so the 4s bms can only know about one cell other one cell in parallel like bms dont have any data
    So if i use 8s bms like take to connect to each cell will it the correct way please help me i am searching alot not get my answer

    What do you think of the 48v 300amp kit built batteries. You get the case, with BMS and all the wiring? You add cells.

    Copied your 48 volt cabin solar system set up. Works flawlessly. What a game changer. Runs fridge, microwave, and most important of all my wife's CPAP machine. The old 400 watt 12 volt system just could not run all that. Thank you so much for your recommendation of the 48 volt with this EG4 battery and all in one on the hand truck. All for $3,300 from Signature Solar who did a great job for me in Northern MN with FREE SHIPPING. Happy and at my cabin tonight. The system changes up even when cloudy.

    Dude I've been a subscriber since you had bad feet, and for the life of me I can't figure out why you're not teaching young people this trade. Unions, university's., trade schools would love to have you. Electricians are in high demand but are also in short supply. I check in on you every so often and you keep getting smarter and smarter, your knowledge is next level why not share it with the next generation.

    Yes its the size and weight, server rack batteries can be managed by one person. They need to make space saving wall mount batteries 100lbs or less, 3.5 feet tall so two rows can fit on an 8' wall.

    Rack batteries have the advantage of being smaller and lighter. So they can be handled by one person.

    Those of us who started with these batteries are now stuck. EG4 has said you can't upgrade your system with the wall mount batteries. They have to be the rack batteries to work properly
