it's natural "progress" of a society in decline. Eventually everything will just be rainbow vomit

Personally I hate rgb. It looks gross to me. Like why do I want my pc to be shining? I wish it was easy to go rgbless

Gotta agree. Keep all that dysphoric non binary rainbow lighting off my PC.

I hate RGB. The last 2 pcs I specifically bought parts that did not have RGB. I will continue this in the next build also.

As an Old man that started win an Apple with a Green Monitor and 5´4 Disks I think the same, Stupid Lights won´t add functionality just be a Nuisance, Maybe if your room is all dark they do something but you can have a desk lamp the same if you need a light source that is cheap.

i like rgb builds that actually set up the colors to be something better than everything rainbow, i personally like blue/purple, kind of like vaporwave neon colors, but i also like all black as little rgb as possible builds, both have their place. i think proper rgb setup looks good especially if you have it on camera for things like livestreaming. but than again i just love pc building as a hobby so im not doing it all the time, i would probably hate having to set up rgb every day while building a new PC.

RGB obsession is like a fashion craze in that you can't talk people out of it. Only thing you can do is spare your own wallet from it.

  16. @anasazmi8554

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

I'm fine with color lighting. It's fun matching the lighting inside the case with the keyboard, mouse & desktop wallpaper.

I don't like rainbow lighting, though.

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

RGB is whatever I personally have it on my alienware laptop because it comes with it but I turn it off because it is distracting to me but I guess it makes a good night light ?

  18. @TimTam89

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

I agree with the RGB thing. Its overdone, isnt needed, and overhyped for genuinly no reason. I also agree on how annoying the RGB light controls are, it takes too much time to figure and configure while it never keeps its settings unless updated or must restart the service…. Its an added headache

  19. @enira

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

Anyway, I heard wood elements are coming back. Just a little bit of time and you will be back at dark cases, but now filled with wood blocks. Lucky there's not much cabling and software for wood.

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

nah im here for the amazing commentary of lupe..and because my mother recommended your channel after the night of intense fu-dge making

as for rgb i dont use rgb in my pcs by choice anymore because if i want light i can throw some string lights up. i feel rgb adds extra strain on the system

  21. @mustardmp5

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

Looking into building a new rig this year. My current one is over 10 yrs old. The new cases and fans are great! The look amazing. Way better than what I had to work with. I think it is here to stay but with more functionality in the future with less wires and better software.

  22. @TheWebstaff

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

    RGB adds 100 fps.
And given how expensive gpu's have got, you need those extra fps to offset for the onboard graphics..

  23. @fspeshalxo69

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

so you just liked how easy it was to make money building a pc in 10mins and now you are complaining that you have to do cable mangement ?

  24. @KaitouKaiju

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

I'm finding these days it's cheaper to find deals on RGB stuff than non-rgb

  25. @silverfox1754

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

    RGB IS GEYYY

  26. @TrialBySquire

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

I agree RGB is unnecessary. Sure, a steamer/content creator might benefit from it but I don't need my PC to be a spectacle. I want a good PC that runs well. I don't care if it looks like a cardboard box as long as it's functional, but I basically am forced to engage with RGB tech because of where the industry is at right now

  27. @herrapingviini2024

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

my building order is but different i start with everything that goes to case like fans and drives then i go to motherboard then cables then gpu and finnish with psu

  28. @sunteraze

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

I hate this "RGB" and "Gaming" tag a lot on products. I can understand RGB on AIO radiator fans & GPU it's fine because it's a way to tell that they are functional or malfunctional but everything RGB is cringe. I mean i making a PC not a p rn studio.

  29. @IcecalGamer

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

RGB is not the future, is the mainstay commonality.
The future will be something like the info-tainment screens in cars became ubiquitous after the 2000 era of underglow; but in pc form, extra screens inside and outside the case. RGB->into->LCD

  30. @KeepingItFishy

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

It might be a hassle but it’s here to stay. I really like it 😅

  31. @yampolskie

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

Plus these brands live in their own world when it comes to implementing A/RGB- there's no standard to those controller hubs and cables. I realized this back when I was working on maintenance for my sister's PC that was a shop build.

  32. @WriggleNB

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

I thought about getting RGB for my new computer, but then I remembered I have to do extra work and pay extra for some lights, so I decided against it.

  34. @offthebooksmusic

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

i just built a new PC. it sits behind my studio desk on a table so i can barely even see it. the only reason i have a few RGB parts is because the shipping on amazon was faster (who the fuck likes waiting?). RGB is cool i guess but just give me the fucking parts.

  35. @VXATechnologies

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

I think the future of pcs are gonna have minimalistic rgb if you know what i mean (like rgb rings around the fans instead of the fans being rgb)

  36. @SalemTechsperts

    November 5, 2024 at 9:53 pm

Answers to some common questions I'm seeing.
    1. The NZXT CAM software that rotates the AIO was still downloading along with everything else on our amazing 20Mbps internet, and I had between 6pm Friday and 12pm Saturday to edit and upload the video.
    2. There are 2 hidden intake fans on the bottom of this case, I was hoping to get away with having 2 intake and 4 exhaust to optimize temps, but the negative pressure would've been a gooch collector. The rear 2 fans have since been flipped to intake.
    3. I appreciate you all sharing your opinion on RGB and you all bring up some great points. My concern is the industry is using RGB as a crutch instead of actually innovating designs and performance.

What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX — interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything — be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.
