Thank you for the content. But does anyone have the alternative options for programming if I want to use python instead of java?

I was 3 classes from finishing my bachelors and 3 classes from finishing my Pathway program (pre law) when COVID hit and I just didn't want to finish in that way. But now 2 years later, I'm glad as I've gained new interests and can go back and switch majors or add a 2nd major and still get financial aid and student loans (which I only had a small amount of and fully paid off already) until I graduate which is awesome.

Thank you so much for this whole detailed guidance and supplementary materials ! I am an undergrad student studying Acc&fin but would really love to learn more about CS. This is definitely what I will be learning after my finals.

You are missing the most important class, discrete mathematics. Programming is discrete math. SWE degree holder.

SOO awesome! Thank you! I really want to learn the basics of programming and computer science and then be able to get a job or do freelance work while learning the entirety of this program. I've seen so many people who start working after some months and they don't have a degree. I don't want to have to wait 4 years before I can make a living. I want to still learn all that I would if I went to a school though so this is PERFECT! Thanks again! You're awesome!

I'm from the UK and want to thank you for creating this list and the video explaining it. I like the layout of your list and an easy to go to plan that one can take for self study. Thanks for setting this up. Great stuff, and much appreciated.

The truth is, I have no words to thank you enough. I am learning programming in freecodecamp and wanted to make a good base with algorithm courses and others. But with this I have a better path mapped out. Really thank you very much and I would appreciate if you tell me any update that you would do before it starts. Best regards

  33. @jameskhiisa5624

    November 3, 2024 at 6:27 pm

Hello, @Forrestknight, I appreciate the content you've provided. I'm curious if it's feasible to incorporate a testing platform, complete with a link, for real-time standard exams. There wouldn't be any rewards apart from the acquisition of computer science knowledge. This would serve as a means to assess one's progress in acquiring this knowledge.

  34. @bringasortega

    November 3, 2024 at 6:27 pm

Is it still viable to study these courses in 2023?

What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX — interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything — be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.
