Recently, a viral news story spread about people in Pakistan asking for money from the makers of the film Dhurandhar 2. This is related to a video from Lyari, a locality in Karachi, which became popular on social media.

In the video, some local residents said that since the movie used the name and background of Lyari and earned a lot of money (over ₹1000 crore), a part of that money should be given to them. Some people even said that around ₹500 crore or a large share of the earnings should be given so that their area can be developed.
