Everything coming to Prime Video in December 2025

The end is nigh. The end of the year, that is. And as the snow flutters to the ground and the wind gets crispy, Prime Video turns into one of the best reasons for staying in of all the major streaming services. For December, Prime is lining up a fresh new mix of blockbuster movies, buzzy new originals, holiday specials, and seasons of tried and true comfort shows, so you’ve always got something new to get you through the snow days.

As we do every month, we share Prime Video’s announcement of its December lineup. On tap for this last month of 2025 are new Prime Video Originals, including the much-anticipated second season of Fallout (Dec. 17) and a new Japanese mini-series called Human Specimens. But it is the holidays, after all, so Prime’s got a handful of titles coming, including a fun-looking holiday doc called The Merchants of Joy (Dec. 1) about five New York City families competing to sell Christmas trees in The Big Apple; a Zooey Deschanel and Charlie Cox romcom called Merv; something called Miss Sophie – Same Procedure as Every Year that we know very little about; and a Michelle Pfeiffer, Denis Leary, and Felicity Jones comedy called Oh. What. Fun. (Dec. 2).

Not only do we give you all the new shows and movies coming to Prime Video every month, but we also want to help you get a better experience with the service. I recently leveled up my Prime Video watchlist skills, making it easier to find things I want to watch. I also turned off my autoplay previews, which made me significantly less angry. Try these tops out for themselves.
