2026 Top 25 Offensive NFL Draft prospects in the West
The NFL draft is upon us this week, and several players from the West will hear their names called over the three-day event.
This year’s Draft will be held in Pittsburgh, PA, and runs from April 23–25. It will be broadcast on NFL Network, ESPN, ABC, and ESPN Deportes.
Coverage starts at 5 p.m. PT on Thursday, and continues at 4 p.m. on Friday, and at noon on Saturday. Streaming is available on NFL+, ESPN App, Hulu, and Disney+
Here we take a closer look at some of the players who will get selected, as well as some who may latch onto an NFL team as a preferred undrafted free agent (UDFA).
1. Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
Projection: Top 15
Fano is listed at around 310 pounds, which is a bit slight for elite NFL tackles, but he can add to
that frame.
What the lineman lacks in bulk, he makes up for with length and versatility.
He has great footwork, and his strong arms make him an efficient downhill power blocker who could be an immediate factor in an NFL run-blocking scheme.
He was rarely beaten in pass protection during his time with the Utes.
His strength and technique make him versatile enough to play either tackle spot or plug in at either guard position.
2. Makai Lemon, WR, USC
Projection: Top 15
A highly skilled pass catcher, the 2025 Biletnikoff winner was clearly college football’s receiver last season.
Lemon may not have the tremendous height of some NFL WRs, but he plays a lot bigger than his size.
He is a perfect fit as a slot receiver, a spot that is becoming more valued in the current NFL.
Lemon can create space from defenders with his quickness and knows what to do with the football after he catches it, leading the Big Ten in yards after catch in 2025.
He should step in and start from Day One and could develop into an All-Pro, perhaps even as a rookie.
3. Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon
Projection: First Round
An excellent pass catcher and adequate blocker, Sadiq should hear his name called on Thursday night in the opening round.
He runs excellent routes and could prove to be a matchup nightmare with the speed to get open, along with his 245-pound frame.
While he will never be mistaken for a block-first tight end, he is even better than I think he got credit for at Oregon.
Sadiq has the strength to engage and move any linebacker, especially if he finds them on the move, and should be efficient in supporting the run game.
He has great hands and the speed to stretch the field on the middle. He will add diversity in the passing attack to the NFL team that takes him.
4. Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
Projection: First Round
Under the tutelage of Hines Ward at ASU, Tyson has developed into an elite route runner over the last two seasons.
That will enable him to step into the NFL and be able to play at any of the three WR spots.
He does a very good job of high-pointing the ball and makes difficult catches look almost effortless.
Tyson is explosive off the ball and can create separation with his quickness.
He struggled at times with physicality at the line; adding some bulk should help, and the NFL tends to allow less hand fighting in coverage than we see in college.
5. Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah
Projection: First Round
An extremely athletic tackle who will fit nicely into the end of an NFL offensive line.
He has the
ability to gain leverage in tight, and finishes every block strong, even when he is out on the move.
Lomu did not allow a sack last season at Utah, and while he will need to add strength to handle NFL caliber pass rushers on a regular basis, he should be productive in pass protection.
His athletic ability and elite footwork give him huge upside for whatever team takes him.
6. Emmanuel Pregnon, IOL, Oregon
Projection: First Round
Pregnon is an excellent downhill blocker with the strength to develop into an elite NFL run blocker. His strength and quick hands allow him to gain leverage and push defenders.
While he can occasionally get beat to first contact in pass protection, he recovers quickly, and his upper body strength effectively neutralizes inside rushers.
Pregnon has room to improve against stunts and sustaining his blocks, but he has the tools to be an outstanding interior lineman with the ability to play guard or center.
7. Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State
Projection: Late First/Early Second
A former basketball player who did not begin playing football until getting to Junior College,
Iheanachor is a raw talent with a very high ceiling.
He is extremely athletic and has smooth footwork to go along with power while playing at a low base. That translates to a solid NFL tackle.
His lateral quickness allows him to handle speed rushers on the outside.
He needs to improve at sustaining long blocks in pass protection, but did not allow a sack at ASU in 2025. His strength and mass should make him NFL-ready in the run game.
8. Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
Projection: Late First/Early Second
A powerful receiver who has the fluidness and speed of a smaller slot/type wideout, Boston has the
size, speed, and ball skills to be a great NFL wide receiver.
He had only two drops on 64 chances in 2025 as his 3.1% drop rate was among the best in the nation.
Once he catches the ball, he has the speed to rack up yards, and his size makes him difficult to bring down.
Boston could go as early as the middle of the first round or could fall to Day Two; it is really a case of where teams go.
The Steelers at 21 seem like a good fit, but should they go the OL route, he could slip.
9. Kage Casey, IOL, Boise State
Projection: Second/Third Round
Casey was a tackle at Boise State, but will most likely have a future in the NFL in the interior of the
line.
He might not be long enough to play on the end in the NFL, but he did a great job for the Broncos at angling off his blocks to seal run lanes.
His lower body strength gives him an explosive leg drive while he is able to absorb contact.
All of this points to him being able to open up run lanes in the NFL. As a guard he should be effective against bull rushers.
10. Jonah Coleman, RB, Washington
Projection: Second/Third Round
Coleman is a shifty back with a low center of gravity and powerful legs that keep churning.
He is
very patient back who waits for his blockers to create holes to run through.
That patience pays off his ability to reach top speed in just a few steps, allowing him to explosively attack the hole.
A dangerous target in the passing game out of the backfield with soft hands, Coleman did not drop a pass in 2025. And he has the ability to make things happen after catching it.
11. Ja’Kobi Lane, WR, USC — Projection: Round 2-3
12. Sam Roush, TE, Stanford — Projection: Round 3-4
13. Carver Willis, OT, Washington — Projection: Round 4-5
14. Dallen Bentley, TE, Utah — Projection: Round 4-5
15. Isaiah World, OT, Oregon — Projection: Round 4-6
16. Alex Harkey, IOL, Oregon — Projection: Round 5-7
17. Chase Roberts, WR, BYU — Projection: Round 5-7
18. John Michael Gyllenborg, TE, Wyoming — Projection: Round 5-7
19. Lake McRee, TE, USC — Projection: Round 6-7
20. Garrett DiGiorgio, IOL, UCLA — Projection: Round 6-7/UDFA
21. Noah Whittington, RB, Oregon — Projection: Round 6-7/UDFA
22. Malik Benson, WR, Oregon — Projection: Round 6-7/UDFA
23. Carsen Ryan, TE, BYU — Projection: Late Day 3/UDFA
24. Brady Boyd, WR, Utah State — Projection: UDFA
25. Caden Barnett, C, Wyoming — Projection: UDFA

Metz: Tahirys dos Santos signs first contract after surviving Swiss bar fire
Metz defender Tahirys dos Santos, who survived a Swiss bar fire on New Year’s Eve that killed 41 people, has signed his first professional contract.
The 19-year-old, who helped rescue his partner at the Le Constellation bar in the ski resort of Crans-Montana, was one of more than 100 people injured, sustaining burns to 30% of his body that needed a skin graft.
He returned to action for Metz reserves on 11 April.
Dos Santos, who joined the academy aged eight, has agreed a one-year deal.
“This moment has an even more special meaning after the difficult months I went through in hospital,” he told the club website.

Does storing a left-behind club in your bag count toward your total?
The Rules of Golf are tricky! Thankfully, we’ve got the guru. Our Rules Guy knows the book front to back. Got a question? He’s got all the answers.
During a local tournament, I walked onto a green and spotted a pitching wedge obviously left by a group ahead. After we all putted out, I picked up the wedge and put it in the basket of my cart, thinking I would drop it off at the clubhouse at the turn or give it to its owner if we caught up with him. After I teed off on the next hole, a fellow competitor said I had violated Rule 4, having more than 14 clubs in my possession which called for a 4-stroke penalty. I argued that I never intended to use the club and did not even put it in my bag, so it couldn’t be a violation. What say you? – Rick Itami, Liberty Lake, WA
We say kudos to you for not telling this dunderhead to go pound sand or taking even more drastic action.
Clearly, there can be quite a difference between referencing a Rule and knowing what in fact it says. Rule 4 — 4.1, to be exact — specifically covers this courteous act, noting it does not add to one’s club count, so long as the club isn’t used. Your competitor was at best wrong and at worst trying to get one (or four) over on you.
For more club-count related guidance from our guru, read on …
Can you carry clubs outside of your bag and not have them count toward the legal limit of 14? —Joseph Mills, Pinehurst, N.C.
Yes… but only if you balance them on your nose.
Come now, Joseph — 14 clubs maximum means 14 clubs maximum (per Rule 4.1b[1]), not 14 clubs and however many more you can stash under your armpit, in your opponent’s bag and behind bushes.
Breaching this rule is a two-stroke penalty per hole in stroke play, maximum two holes, and once you realize you’re in breach you must declare the extra clubs out of play immediately or be disqualified. Golf is a game of honor, not hoarding.

Houston (9-15) is last in the AL West but ended a four-game losing streak by taking Monday’s contest 9-2. Cleveland (13-11) is atop the AL Central and was 5-1 in series openers before losing yesterday. First pitch is at 6:10 p.m. ET from Progressive Field in Cleveland. The Guardians won four of six matchups with Houston last season. Top Astros vs. Guardians predictions
After 10,000 simulations of Guardians vs. Astros, the model is going Over 8 combined runs. For over/under betting, no team has hit the Over more than Houston this year, with Monday’s contest being the latest instance. The Over is 17-7 for the Astros and has hit in each of its last four games. The Over also sports a 6-3 record for Cleveland over its last nine.
Houston leads the AL in OPS while ranking dead last in ERA, so both teams often light up the scoreboard when the Astros are in action. Having Weiss on the mound won’t help with the latter as he’s given up 10 ER over his last 8.2 IP, but Houston is also projected to have the top two batters in terms of total bases accumulated. Both teams are forecasted to score over 4 runs, on average, as the Over has all of the value. Get the Astros vs. Guardians money-line pick at SportsLine.

IPL 2026: As it stands
Coming back to cricket on the highest level, the race for the playoffs is heating up in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season. Punjab Kings (PBKS), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) have been the early pace-setters and lead the points table, having garnered 8 points or more from their opening matches.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) have endured topsy-turvy campaigns so far but are not far away from the leading pack.
Meanwhile, concerns engulf the dugouts of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who are towards the bottom of the table. Although they are the three most successful franchises in IPL history, their playoff hopes are in serious jeopardy already.

Bizarre Lineage Planet Waves guide
Planet Waves was one of the seven Stands added with Bizarre Lineage Update 1 as a primarily ranged combat option. This Stand can be obtained using a Meteorite Arrow, a craftable item that requires resources from the Update 1 Raid battles. Being a ranged Stand, Planet Waves is an excellent PvE tool, allowing you to make short work of regular enemies and bosses alike through powerful meteor showers.
Here’s everything you need to know about Planet Waves in Bizarre Lineage.
How to get Planet Waves in Bizarre Lineage

Planet Waves, like Death 13, can be obtained through a specific item without relying on the Stand Arrow or Lucky Arrow RNG. The chief component required to get this Stand is the Meteorite Arrow, a craftable item. In order to craft it, you need a Meteor Fragment and a Mysterious Arrow.
Meteor Fragments are rare drops from Legendary Chests, while Mysterious Arrows are random boss drops from the three Update 1 Raids in Bizarre Lineage. You can farm Legendary Chests from the aforementioned Raids as well, so you don’t have to go out of your way to pursue them. As for Mysterious Arrows, the odds of receiving one through the three Raids are decent, though it may take a few tries to get it to drop.
Once you have these items, head to Gupta, the Crafting NPC, and craft the Meteorite Arrow. Then, use it from your inventory to instantly gain access to Planet Waves.
The Bizarre Lineage Prison Escape Raid battle guide goes over everything to do in the most mechanically complex Raid battle of the game.
Planet Waves moveset and game plan in Bizarre Lineage

As mentioned previously, Planet Waves is primarily a ranged Stand, making it well-suited for sniping enemies from afar. Because of this, its combo potential is fairly low, but that does not make it any less effective than the likes of Death 13 or Diver Down. Its heavy ranged focus makes it one of the best Stands in the game to take on bosses like Heaven Ascended DIO or Death 13. Securing a high rank with this Stand is a cinch.
While in melee range, Planet Waves automatically summons meteors as part of its passive ability. This can create some space between you and the opponent, so that you may retreat and continue your barrage of ranged skills to pressure or defeat them.
Here is a complete list of its moves, along with their respective properties:
- Barrage: Standard melee barrage move.
- Breaker: Powerful melee burst attack. Can be used to knock the opponent back.
- Meteor Rain: Summons a long meteor shower. The most powerful ability in Planet Waves’ skills.
- Lucky Meteor: Randomly summons meteors to strike nearby enemies.
- The Meteor: Summons a massive meteor for a lot of damage.
- Meteor Waves: Summons a straight line of meteors. Meteor line position shifts based on your movement.
The best skill in Planet Waves’ arsenal is Meteor Rain, which has the Stand conjure a meteor shower that continues for a long time. It can easily shred through the health pools of boss enemies, including the mighty The World Overheaven Raid.
Optimizing its damage is also simple through perks like Justice, Death Valley, and Repose that come with the Stand. Stack Perks like Play with Your Food, Resourceful, and The Godfather to make Planet Waves a dominating force on the battlefield.

Villa to close North Stand next season – have your say
Aston Villa have announced an accelerated timeline for the North Stand redevelopment at Villa Park which will involve the closure of the stand next season.
Original plans were to redevelop across two seasons, but now the stand will just be closed for the entirety of the 2026-27 season while the work takes place – a move which will see capacity fall to around 37,000.
The redevelopment will increase the overall capacity of Villa Park to over 50,000, and create around 500 square metres of new first-team changing, medical and physiotherapy facilities, alongside the upgrade of all player competition areas.
Season ticket holders forced to relocate for the 2026-27 season will be given the opportunity to renew their ticket in an alternative area of Villa Park at the same price level and get priority access to return to the redeveloped North Stand for the 2027-28 season.
A statement from the club answered key questions for fans and read: “This decision has been taken following extensive planning and assessment, and reflects the club’s commitment to minimising disruption for supporters while delivering meaningful improvements to both the fan and footballing experience at Villa Park.
“The new, accelerated plan for the works also incorporates operational efficiencies, which will lead to significant cost savings and a shorter timeline.
“By completing the works within a single season, the club will limit disruption to one campaign rather than extending it across two seasons. This will allow us to open the new North Stand standard seating and concourse facilities for the full 2027-28 season, meaning supporters can enjoy the new stand sooner.”
Villa fans, what do you make of the news? Will your season ticket be affected? And are you happy the redevelopment will be accelerated?

Shafali Verma Nears Top 5, Harmanpreet Kaur About To Entering Top 10 In T20I Rankings
Shafali Verma continued her steady rise in the ICC Women’s T20I Rankings, climbing closer to the top five, while India captain Harmanpreet Kaur edged nearer to a return to the top 10 following the latest rankings update on Tuesday. The rankings reshuffle comes amid the ongoing five-match T20I series between India and South Africa, with several players from both sides rewarded for their recent performances ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England and Wales, which starts on June 12.
Shafali jumped two places to sixth in the T20I batting charts after her brisk 57 against South Africa, closing in on the top five, while Smriti Mandhana remains India’s highest-ranked batter at fourth.
Harmanpreet, meanwhile, moved up two spots to be placed just outside the top 10 at joint 11th, courtesy of her unbeaten 47 in the series opener, signalling a return to form at a crucial juncture.
Among South African players, captain Laura Wolvaardt retained her fifth position after a composed half-century in the second T20I, while teammates Annerie Dercksen (up 18 places to 33rd) and Sune Luus (up eight places to 35th) made notable gains.
In the bowling rankings, Sadia Iqbal held on to the No. 1 spot, though South Africa’s Nonkululeko Mlaba surged five places to joint sixth after an impressive start to the series against India.
Further gains for South Africa came from Ayabonga Khaka (up eight places to 25th), Chloe Tryon (up three to 38th) and Tumi Sekhukhune (up 23 to 55th). India also saw progress through left-arm spinner Shree Charani, who climbed four spots to 23rd.
In the all-rounders’ list, Melie Kerr continued to occupy the top position, while Tryon (up four places to joint 11th) and Dercksen (up 11 to 29th) registered significant improvements.
Meanwhile, the ODI rankings also witnessed movement following the opening match of the Bangladesh-Sri Lanka series. Sharmin Akhter made the biggest impact, climbing seven places to 22nd after an 86-run knock in Rajshahi.
Her teammate Sobhana Mostary rose eight spots to 50th after contributing 41 runs, while bowlers Nahida Akter (13th), Rabeya Khan (20th) and Marufa Akter (up nine places to joint 43rd) also moved up the rankings.

2026 NBA Draft order: Jazz win crucial lottery tiebreaker over Kings

The 2026 NBA Draft Lottery odds are officially set after the league broke two ties on Monday. The Utah Jazz earned the tiebreaker over the Sacramento Kings for the No. 4 draft lottery position, while the New Orleans Pelicans earned the No. 7 spot after winning the tiebreaker over the Dallas Mavericks.
Notably, the Atlanta Hawks will have the better of the picks that belong to the Pelicans and the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks will enter the draft lottery on May 10th in the No. 10 draft slot. Milwaukee’s pick has a 13.9% chance of landing in the top four and a 3% chance of being the No. 1 overall pick.
Sacramento was firmly in the mix to finish with one of the four worst records in the NBA before closing the season by winning three of its last 10 games. During the same stretch, Utah lost nine of its last 10 games. In the penultimate game of the regular season, the Kings had a chance to clinch the No. 4 draft slot outright but beat the Golden State Warriors at home.
So, how far could the Kings fall on lottery night? It’s possible that Sacramento’s pick could be as late as No. 9. Sacramento has a 0.6% chance of picking No. 9 and an 8.5% chance of picking No. 8.
Still, when ties occur in the final NBA standings, the odds for that draft slot are split evenly between the teams. The Kings and Jazz both have a 45.2% chance of landing inside the top four and an 11.5% chance of being the No. 1 overall pick. Here’s the breakdown:
Kings and Jazz lottery odds
| Pick number | Team | No. 1 | No. 2 | No. 3 | No. 4 | No. 5 | No. 6 | No. 7 | No. 8 | No. 9 |
| 4 | Jazz | 11.5% | 11.4% | 11.2% | 11% | 7.5% | 27.1% | 17.9% | 2.4% | 0% |
| 5 | Kings | 11.5% | 11.4% | 11.2% | 11% | 2% | 18.2% | 25.5% | 8.5% | 0.6% |
Last year, Dallas won the tiebreaker over the Bulls to enter the draft lottery in the No. 11 slot. It might’ve seemed minuscule at the time, but that slight boost helped Dallas secure the No. 1 overall pick and the right to select Cooper Flagg. This time around, Dallas wasn’t so lucky.
The Mavericks will have a 29% chance at a top-four pick and a 6.7% chance of earning the No. 1 overall pick for the second consecutive year after losing the tiebreaker to the Pelicans. Dallas doesn’t control its own first-round pick until 2031 after this summer.
Other notable tiebreakers that were broken outside the lottery
- The Suns won the tiebreaker with the Orlando Magic and the Philadelphia 76ers. That pick (No. 16) will go to Memphis. Second (No. 17) and third place (No. 18) in the tiebreaker drawings went to Philadelphia and Orlando, respectively. The Thunder will get the 17th pick and the Hornets will get No. 18.
- The Raptors won a tiebreaker with the Hawks for pick No. 19
- The Rockets won a tiebreaker with the Cavaliers for pick No. 22.
- The Knicks won a tiebreaker with the Los Angeles Lakers for pick No. 24
