This intermediate session focuses on detoxification, shedding weight, core toning, and creating space. This is a breath-led practice, so you can expect to feel calm and strong as well as expect to experience the benefits of this session long after it’s over. (Cue healthy body function and flow!)

Do This Easy Workout Every Night to Burn Fat in Your Sleep | Low Impact, No Equipment | growwithjo
If you struggle with feeling bloated post-meals or over-stuffed and need a routine to get you feeling more like yourself and help you stay away from late night cravings, this is the workout for you!
For best results do this workout every night after dinner (before bed) to help improve digestion, and speed up your metabolism.
The workout:
Low Impact
No Jumping
All Standing
Beginner Friendly
Knee Friendly
Very Effective
and Fun!
No equipment is required for this workout! All of the exercises are standing and can be done even in a very small space
The beginning of the workout starts slow, to help you ease your way into exercise after eating (I would suggest waiting 20-30 mins between your meal and this workout), but as the workout moves along, you will start to feel the heat and will be left sweating by the end of the workout!
This workout will use all parts of your body, so get ready to feel amazing, have an amazing sleep tonight and feel leaner in the morning!
Make sure to stay consistent with this workout to see more permanent results!

This was just the challenge I needed to start the week. The poses with the palms pressed together and elbows touching outer thigh were especially difficult in terms of keeping my balance, but with time I will get better, I'm sure. Thanks again, Adriene.

After moving apartments and job locations, I really fell off my practice. I had been doing yoga nearly every day since January (it’s now August) and then it all kind of crumbled. I wanted to challenge myself with a longer practice today to jump back in (I usually did 20-30 mins) and for probably 2/3 of it I wanted to stop and give up. But I knew I’d feel better if I finished it. And I did. I’m really proud of myself. I missed this.

Today was hard. Closing lots of old cycles. All the stored trauma pops up and manifests in the body – for the last time, for I am releasing it tonight. I was shaking during this practice, I was losing balance, my head was getting bit heavy, but I did it. And I feel so strong and courageous. I've added this practice to my Sunday routine to really fill out the idea of having a "Sunday reset" to help detox the previous week, and prepare for the week ahead.
Mentally, this practice gives me a lot of help with that. I'll be honest that physically, it's challenging for me. I love what Adriene says in this video, that resets don't happen overnight, and I'm taking that to heart. I look forward to coming back every week and seeing where I've improved/strengthened, and where I still have space to grow. I also appreciate that it's longer, so I can really feel like I'm carving out a good chunk of intentional time for myself. Despite feeling pretty down on myself and in the midst of a lot of negative emotions today, I found myself craving a physical outlet that would push my body. Sometimes, that's definitely not the case, but I'm glad that it was today.
