A proud family celebration turned into an emotional milestone for Jennifer Lopez as she watched her son Max Muniz graduate from high school.

The 18-year-old was surrounded by family members as he received his diploma, including his mother, twin sibling Oskar Muniz, grandparents Guadalupe and David Lopez, and Jennifer’s longtime manager Benny Medina.

“And then like two months ago I had to write the thing for the yearbook or whatever the heck thing they make you write,” Lopez told Kimmel. “When I tell you, the tears. Two days it took me to write those things.”

The couple held hands and gazed into each other’s eyes on Monday, June 8, while walking the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City for the premiere of the pop star’s new concert movie, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris. Perry wore a white halter-neck dress with rose embellishments, with her hair in an updo, while Trudeau went for a smart black suit and white button-up shirt.

The former Canadian Prime Minister, 54, told reporters on the red carpet that he was excited to see the documentary for the first time.

“I saw the [tour] three times but I wasn’t really paying attention to anything but Katy,” Trudeau joked to Entertainment Tonight. “So, I’m looking forward to seeing the show for the first time!”

When a reporter mentioned that Perry and Trudeau “look great together,” she replied, “Thank you!”

The duo were linked in July 2025 during a few romantic outings in Montreal, shortly after Perry and ex Orlando Bloom officially confirmed the end of their relationship after a decade together.

According to Lopez, children often emulate their parents, and she has been trying to instill as much wisdom in Max and Emme as possible before they begin their college careers.

Asked to share parenting advice, Lopez said, “They do what they see you do. It’s not so much what you tell them all the time. Even though I’m trying to download everything I’ve ever learned in my life, every lesson I’ve ever [learned], to them right now before they leave in August … I still feel like who you are as a person, how you act, what they see you do, if you work hard, they become more hard workers.”

“They mimic you in this weird way and learn from you, even though they act like they’re opposite [to] you,” the actress continued. “My kids [are like], ‘I don’t want to be anything like you. I want to have my own path.’ They see this persona, it’s such a thing, But I also see them … not mimic, but just pick up things that are the good traits about you.”

In May, Lopez admitted to getting tearful on a regular basis in the lead-up to her twins’ respective high school graduations.

Chef Emily Susman is telling ET about the feel-good habits she’s embracing this season, from alcohol-free sips and easy weeknight dinners to the simple hosting philosophy she swears by.

With more than 25 years in the food and beverage industry, Susman knows a thing or two about bringing people together. Her latest venture, Navi Mocktails, was inspired by a personal shift that changed the way she approached gatherings.

“I stopped drinking in 2021, and what caught me off guard wasn’t the decision itself, it was how weird social situations suddenly felt,” Susman shares.

“You show up to a party and someone hands you a water or a Shirley Temple, and you feel like a footnote. I wanted something that actually belonged at the table and something you’d be excited to drink.”

The result is a line of functional mocktail blends in take-anywhere sachets that give everyone something festive to raise a glass with.

“As a chef and someone who cares deeply about wellness, I’m always thinking about what food and drinks can do for you,” she explains.

“The collagen and protein add nutritional value, and I love L-theanine because it promotes a sense of calm without leaving you feeling foggy the next morning. You can be present, enjoy the moment and wake up feeling good.”

That balanced mindset doesn’t stop at happy hour.

“I used to treat healthy choices like I was white knuckling my way through something, and it was exhausting,” Susman recalls. “Once you stop framing it as restriction and start framing it as taking care of yourself, it stops feeling like a sacrifice.”

When it comes to summer eating, Susman is all about keeping things fresh, flavorful, and low maintenance.

“I grill everything,” she shares. “It’s my summer philosophy. The flavor is incredible, it’s naturally lighter, and it requires almost no fuss.”

This year’s warm-weather lineup includes grilled skirt steak with bright chimichurri, grilled shrimp tacos topped with mango salsa, and Mediterranean chicken bowls loaded with fresh herbs and roasted vegetables. On the side, she’s serving up watermelon feta salad, grilled corn, and cucumber salad with lemon and dill.

But summer isn’t all backyard barbecues and outdoor dinners. For days packed with errands, travel or beach trips, Susman keeps easy staples within arm’s reach.

“Healthy eating becomes so much easier when you make it convenient,” she notes. “I always keep hard-boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, grilled chicken and quality deli turkey on hand. For snacks, I love fresh vegetables with hummus, fruit or something protein-based that actually keeps me full.”

When entertaining, her approach is equally relaxed.

“Have great food, great drinks and make sure every person there feels included,” she recommends. “Set up a drink station with options for everyone and lean into simple, seasonal dishes. Summer produce is so good that you really don’t need to do much to it.”

For Susman, the secret to a great summer gathering has less to do with what’s on the table and more to do with who’s around it.

“The parties people actually remember aren’t about being perfect. They’re about the people.”

He also reveals that admissions are now open, and selected alumni will be returning.

On the Streamer University website, Kai shared a message for those interested in joining the program.

“‘THIS IS WHERE THE NEXT CHAPTER BEGINS. Back in 2022, Top Gun: Maverick dominated the box office, and made waves as one of the most successful legacy sequels of all time. Despite the original Top Gun being such a major hit, audiences were shocked to see the follow-up perform so well nearly 40 years down the line. Now, according to a report from Variety, we can confirm that Tom Cruise has officially signed on to make Top Gun 3. The third installment has long been rumored to be in the works, though Cruise has yet to confirm his involvement until a recent appearance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

What A Successful Legacy Sequel Looks Like

In case you don’t recall, Top Gun: Maverick released in May of 2022, right when the turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic was just beginning to die down. As a result, the film became one of the first blockbusters that reassured studios and audiences alike that the theater industry would eventually bounce back. To this day, some fans still credit Maverick for saving cinema as we know it. The film grossed over $1.5 billion on a $170 million budget, making it one of the most financially lucrative outings of all time.

From an artistic perspective, Top Gun: Maverick was also respected for delivering high octane thrills and really solid character work. Some viewers criticized the sequel for its bare bones plot, but others recognized it as one of the best “vibes movies” of the decade. Newcomers to the franchise such as Miles Teller and Glen Powell also received a major boon for their career, while Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer got to give their original characters a nice send-off.

The Next Big Blockbuster?

For now, there’s no word on the plot of the new film, though we can surmise that Maverick and crew will return to their naval base to perform some sick aerial moves and save the day. Powell, Teller, and several others are confirmed to be joining Cruise in the upcoming movie, with Ehren Kruger attached to pen the screenplay. Kruger is previously credited with co-writing Top Gun: Maverick alongside Eric Warren Singer and frequent Tom Cruise collaborator Christopher McQuarrie.

If everything goes according to plan, Top Gun 3 could be even bigger than the last film. With no ongoing pandemic to contend with, and few massive blockbuster films on the horizon, the threequel might even have a shot at cracking the top ten highest grossing movies of all time. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what Cruise and his team have in store. In the meantime, both Top Gun and Top Gun: Maverick are streaming for free on Pluto TV, so there’s plenty of time to catch up on the franchise.
