She’s spent her whole life writing some of the best songs of all time about love and heartbreak.
So when Taylor Swift finally found her happily ever after with American football star Travis Kelce, it should come as no surprise that their wedding would be a huge and extravagant affair to celebrate.
The billionaire music superstar, 36, had a famously tumultuous love life and string of high-profile romances before all her dreams came true with Kelce, also 36.
They wed on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in front of a whopping 1,000 guests – and no expense was spared after she’d finally found her perfect match.

It was a fairytale made real: Madison Square Garden transformed into an enchanted garden of towering trees, emerald drapery and soaring archways. There, the couple said ‘I do’ before a room of A-listers, lifelong friends and family.
Guests could be seen gathering at the altar before disappearing through a hidden set of doors and into the couple’s dreamlike reception.
The video showed the room buzzing as Candi Staton’s disco anthem ‘Young Hearts Run Free’ plays.
Stars dressed to the nines then filed through the doors behind the altar following the ceremony, where Swift reportedly walked down the raised, stage-like aisle to a string arrangement of one of her own songs.
One guest told the Daily Mail that after the vows, attendees ‘headed into the festivities room behind the altar’s magic doors’ – where the real party began.
The guest described an interior styled in a ‘whimsical Tinker Bell fairytale’ theme.
The exclusive video also showed a romantically lit hallway with pink walls, peach drapery and matching carpet.

The entrance also featured a sentimental touch as several photos of the couple throughout their relationship were featured on the walls.
All of the sweet photos, including the couple’s August 2025 backyard proposal, were inside large gold frames. A large ‘T and T’ logo, which seems to have featured in other parts of the nuptials, was displayed in the centre.

Industry experts estimated that Swift and Kelce spent more than $15million to transform the venue into the fairytale wedding of their dreams.
And a source told The New York Times that between lighting, sound, catering, flowers, decorations and labor, it could cost between $10million and $12million.
Leading up to the big day, there were several NYPD officers and security members patrolling MSG, which reportedly cost taxpayers about $1million.
The celebrities attending included Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Hugh Grant and Greg James.
The singer previously defended her giant guestlist, telling Graham Norton – who was also invited – last year: ‘I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount [of guests] and people are on the bubble, right?
‘And you have to evaluate and asses your relationship with them to see if they should be there,’ she said. ‘I’m not gonna do that.’
‘Anyone that I’ve ever talked to [is invited],’ she joked before later adding, ‘I shouldn’t have said any of that.’

With a $20million budget, the most high-profile of A-list guests and the backdrop of Venice, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, the wedding was a highly-anticipated event last year.
But despite the glamour, the nuptials left many with a sour taste.
Even before they arrived, protests by Venetian locals accusing the pair of ‘taking over the city’ had suggested the wedding would not be as smooth sailing as they had been hoped for.
While A-listers had flocked to the Italian city – including the likes of the Kardashian and Jenner sisters and their mother – there were some notable no-shows, such as Lauren’s long-time best friend, Desperate Housewives’ Eva Longoria, who had been at her hen do in Paris in May.
And one of the most famous faces present – actor and climate change warrior Leonardo DiCaprio – seemed to want to hide completely under a low-sitting baseball cap following backlash at his attendance.
Some questioned the apparent contradiction between his climate activism and his presence at a lavish event, possibly involving private jet travel – a point raised by several media outlets.
About a dozen Venetian organisations – including housing advocates, anti-cruise ship campaigners and university groups – protested under the banner ‘No Space for Bezos’ amid complaints he has ‘taken over the city’.
The banner was a play on words referring to his space exploration company Blue Origin and the bride’s space flight.
One group displayed a banner which read: ‘Money cannot buy style.’
Another banner read: ’55 million dollars spent on the wedding just to get a divorce in three days’.
Greenpeace activists unfurled a huge banner in St Mark’s Square, the iconic heart of Venice, protesting against the wedding.
It showed an image of Bezos’s face and the slogan: ‘If you can rent Venice for your wedding then you can pay more tax’.
Activists from British group Everyone Hates Elon were also involved and said they had carried it out to highlight the ‘environmental and social injustice of the wedding’.
Lauren and Jeff, however, seemed to be unfazed by all the criticism of their ostentatious display.
The couple were hounded by local journalists as they left the Aman hotel – where rooms start at well over $1,000 a night – with one reporter asking: ‘What do you think about the protests, Jeff?’
But while Lauren valiantly ignored the yelled questions, the Amazon founder – who is worth some $230billion – simply said: ‘Love you guys’, before blowing a kiss to the cameras.
