Tom Holland’s ‘My Wife’ Admission Wins Over Fans
Tom Holland didn’t need a lengthy love story to remind fans how happy he is with Zendaya.
During a playful podcast appearance, the “Spider-Man” star dropped what may have been the sweetest moment of the interview when he casually referred to the Emmy-winning actress as his “wife.”
The offhand remark came just days after Holland confirmed the pair had quietly tied the knot, instantly sending fans into a frenzy and adding another heartfelt chapter to one of Hollywood’s favorite romances.
Tom Holland gave fans another reason to adore his relationship with Zendaya during an appearance on the U.K.-based “Dish” podcast, hosted by DJ Nick Grimshaw and chef Angela Hartnett.
While taking part in a quick-fire question round, Holland was asked, “Which person would you like a holiday in Greece with?”
Rather than overthink his answer, the actor immediately replied, “I think probably my wife would be pretty good.”
The affectionate remark came after Holland confirmed that he and Zendaya had married, making the casual response all the more meaningful.
He also joked that choosing anyone else would be awkward, adding, “It would be a bit strange if I went, ‘Sorry babe, I’m gonna take Matt [Damon, Holland and Zendaya’s “Odyssey” costar] actually.”

It didn’t take long for Tom Holland’s affectionate remark to spread across social media, where fans quickly declared the two-word response the highlight of the interview.

A third user also remarked, “I’m just waiting for Zendaya to say husband but Tom can care less lol he is the type to shout it out from the rooftops.”

Holland’s sweet “my wife” remark wasn’t the only recent glimpse fans have gotten into the couple’s playful relationship.
In an interview with PEOPLE, the “Pilgrimage” actor revealed that Zendaya played an unexpected role in convincing him to join Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey.”
Speaking alongside Nolan, Matt Damon, and Anne Hathaway, Holland explained that he initially hesitated because productions for “The Odyssey” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” were due to begin at the same time.
After telling Zendaya he had received “the big one” from Nolan, she immediately understood the significance of the opportunity.
Holland then recalled that when he explained the scheduling conflict, Zendaya jokingly told him, “I’ll leave you if you don’t do The Odyssey,” prompting laughter from the panel.
The lighthearted ultimatum encouraged Holland to approach Sony Pictures chairman Tom Rothman about adjusting the “Spider-Man” production schedule, a request the studio ultimately approved.

Zendaya’s support for Tom Holland didn’t stop with encouraging him to take a career-defining role in “The Odyssey.”
The actress also showed where her loyalties lie during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, happily throwing her support behind England after being asked which nation she was rooting for.
During a lighthearted interview alongside her husband with Spanish media outlet LOS40, Holland immediately answered, “It’s England for me,” before Zendaya admitted soccer isn’t her strong suit.
“I don’t really follow it, so I’m gonna support who you support. I love you so much,” she told her husband, prompting Holland to respond with a smiling, “Thank you.”
Tom Holland Earns World Cup Bragging Rights Over Lupita Nyong’o
Holland’s support for England during the FIFA World Cup didn’t just win over Zendaya, it also sparked a friendly rivalry with one of his “The Odyssey” co-stars, Lupita Nyong’o, who proudly supported Mexico ahead of the nations’ Round of 16 showdown.
Before kickoff, the pair posed together in a playful video, with Holland holding up an England jersey while Nyong’o confidently waved Mexico’s colors, each refusing to switch sides despite sharing the screen as co-stars.
England ultimately edged Mexico 3-2 in a thrilling contest to book its place in the quarterfinals, giving Holland undeniable bragging rights over Nyong’o.
Ironically, the actor didn’t even watch the match live because he was preparing for the world premiere of “The Odyssey” in London, later revealing he skipped the 1 a.m. kickoff so he could be “fresh and present” for what he called “one of the biggest days” of his life before catching a replay that morning without knowing the result.

UPDATE 7/21/26 at 2:27 p.m. E.T. — The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release on Tuesday, sharing that officers responded to a single-vehicle collision in Ijamsville, Maryland, at about 2:52 a.m. local time.
A preliminary investigation shared that a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old man traveled off the right side of the road and struck a culvert. The press release noted that excessive speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. One of the passengers declined medical treatment at the scene, while the second passenger was identified as Kaylee. She was transported from the scene to a trauma center in the area, where she was pronounced dead.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.

Godzilla vs. Kong star Kaylee Hottle has died after being involved in a car accident. She was 18.
Kaylee’s dad, Joshua Hottle, told TMZ on Tuesday, July 21, that the actress was killed earlier that day in Maryland.
He also shared the news in a Facebook livestream, explaining in ASL that he flew from Texas to claim her body, according to TMZ.
Joshua reportedly said that he learned Kaylee was involved in a serious car accident and was later called by officials to share that his daughter’s heart stopped on the way to the hospital.

The video was captioned, “I am taking a flight that I never would like to take.” Joshua received support in the comments section.
“What a bright light she was. So talented in every way. A huge loss for all of us. So sorry. ,” one user wrote, while another added, “I’m so sorry for your unimaginable loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. Sending you love, strength, and comfort during this heartbreaking time.”

Kaylee, who comes from a multi-generational deaf family, was born in Atlanta. She was then raised in Austin, Texas, where she attended the Texas School for the Deaf.
Kaylee started in the entertainment industry with a PSA for the live video messaging app Glide, a tool that is used by members of the community. She was 9 at the time.
Kaylee went on to play Jia in 2021’s Godzilla vs Kong. Her character communicated with King Kong via sign language and lived on Skull Island with Dr. Ilene Andrews, played by Rebecca Hall.
“Hi, this Kaylee Hottle known as Jia in the movie, Godzilla vs Kong,” Kaylee wrote in her first Instagram post in 2021, alongside a video of herself signing. “This is my official Instagram page. I wanted to thank you all for your support and love! ♥️ 🤟 #godzillavskong.”
Three years later, Kaylee reprised her role in the film Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. She also appeared in the Magnum P.I. reboot, where she portrayed Joon in a season 4 episode. Before her death, Kaylee had a film in pre-production on IMDb titled What Doesn’t Kill Us.

The coolest part of science fiction isn’t the exotic alien planets, destructive weapons, or the outfits, it’s the spaceships. Nothing captures the imagination like a spaceship flying to a different galaxy, or weaving through a zero-gravity dog fight. They’re sleek, they’re cool, and they’re iconic. Think of Star Wars, and you think of the Millennium Falcon. Star Trek has the Enterprise, and Farscape has the organic Moya.
The ships in this list aren’t like those icons. Spaceships often suffer from a design flaw. They look… uh… like… well.
We all know it. We all think it the first time we see one of these POP UP. It’s HARD not to. And there’s just no beating around the BUSH here, we’ve gone made a list of the most INAPPROPRIATE spaceships.
And we’re ranking them in order by which one is the most totally raunchy.
14 – Dr. Evil’s Rocket – Austin Powers
The first Austin Powers was once the most quoted movie on the planet. Mike Myers became a comedy superstar with his sendup of James Bond and spy movies in general. A sequel was inevitable, and this time, science fiction didn’t escape the parody unscathed. The extended bit about Dr. Evil’s rocket is one of the best parts of the movie.
The gag works on two levels, first, the obvious, in that the rocket looks like a phallus. Secondly, it keeps going with every quick shot including dialogue that leads into the next. Did I mention that it keeps going? By the time it gets to One-eyed Monster you think it’s running out of gas, and then it goes with the obvious joke, and Woody Harrelson pops up on screen.
Sci-fi spaceships looking like a phallus isn’t a secret. We all know.
It’s so common that a mainstream comedy can use it as a joke. Dr. Evil is a man of science and science can’t help it that a long, cylindrical object is the most efficient rocket design. The only stopping the obvious penis rocket from ranking higher is that it’s a deliberate gag. Science fiction is filled with ships that weren’t intended to be a pecker.
13 – Heighlighnier – Dune
Is it a massive Space Guild transport ship capable of holding thousands of passengers as it folds space and time… …or is it a sex toy?
The Heighlighnier from Dune is a technological marvel, working less as a ship and more as a tunnel through space. At least it was in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune. Frank Herbert’s novels never go into detail. The exact shape, form, and function of the vessel is left to the imagination. Both David Lynch and Villeneuve decided that it should be a massive cylinder, and it unfortunately looks a lot like a….well….not a flashlight.
But…yeah I’m going to go with flashlight.
In the prequel HBO Max series, Dune: Prophecy, the Heighliners are more rectangular.
I’ll have to admit, it’s honestly a great design for a spaceship that doesn’t have to actually travel anywhere. With no need for propulsion, there’s no need for thrusters, and it doesn’t have to be aerodynamic. Dune is the strangest sci-fi universe to break through into the mainstream, even the spaceships are more complex than any other franchise.
That said, the brutalist, monolithic design of the Heighlighnier makes them standout. It’s an immediately striking, recognizable look, but again, did it really have to look exactly like a FLASH light?
12 – The Dauntless – Star Trek Prodigy
Star Trek Prodigy was never given a chance to become a success. Paramount didn’t know what to do with a Star Trek cartoon meant for kids. The show itself is fantastic and a great way to get kids into Star Trek. Voyager stars Kate Mulgrew and Robert Picardo reprise their roles as Janeway and The Doctor, the new characters are colorful and vastly different from previous Trek series, taking full advantage of the animated format.
And then there’s the Dauntless.
On the one hand, the Dauntless shows Star Fleet incorporating alien technology into its ships. On the other, it’s either a flying arrowhead or a….well….you know. Long, slender backend, thick, girthy front?
It’s a unique design for Star Fleet, with a unique engine: a quantum slipstream drive. Coincidentally, the tech was first introduced in Voyager. This means the Dauntless can reach a speed of Warp 9.9, though the technology is missing from Discovery, meaning it likely ended up being one of many failed FTL prototypes of the Federation.
Thankfully the design was also shelved. The Dauntless might be the ugliest ship in Star Trek.
11 – War Rocket Ajax – Flash Gordon 1980 movie
FLASH! Ah ah ah!
Get used to seeing Flash Gordon pop up on this list. Between the serials and the 1980 movie, it’s a treasure trove of retro sci-fi designs which means lots of inappropriate spaceships.
One of the lesser offenders is the War Rocket Ajax, seemingly the only ship in the fleet of Ming the Merciless, the War Rocket Ajax is sent in pursuit of Flash and his team after they attack his city. It’s fast, it’s powerful, and it’s a flying phallus. It’s not even subtle. That’s a giant, gold…
Design for the film was split across different production studios, but the elaborate model used for filming was put together by Martin Bower, who also designed the miniatures used in Blake’s 7, Space 1999, and a little film called Alien.
He was joined by Bill Pearson, who also did the models for Wing Commander, Gravity, and would go on to work on Red Dwarf. Honestly, those credits explain why Flash Gordon’s designs, though suggestive, are so damn cool. War Rocket Ajax looks like the type of ship a six-year old would design. In the world of Flash Gordon, that’s a good thing.
The whole film plays with classic sci-fi tropes and it’s catnip for nerds. War Rocket Ajax being armed to the teeth with lasers, electrifying cloud tech, and housing an entire unit of heavily armed soldiers, makes it one of the coolest ships in sci-fi.
It still looks like a johnson.
10 – Syreen Penetrator – Star Control
It’s a sci-fi video game and not a show or a film, but the classic PC strategy game Star Control needs to be called out, because it has no chill. The Syreen Penetrator isn’t subtle. It has ridges. It’s called the Penetrator. One of its best stats? Thrust.
The Penetrator’s also fast, and it has great range. In the world of Star Control, it also has the unique ability to convert victims into crew. The Penetrator is cheap, it’s effective, but it also runs out of fuel pretty quick and needs time to refuel.
Star Control has some of the wildest alien designs in sci-fi gaming. Every race has their own unique designs and playstyles, but if you haven’t heard of Star Control, that’s because it’s been awhile.
The last mainline game came out in 1996, and the latest is allegedly coming out in 2026. Once it does, every defense needs to be penetrated by the Penetrator at least once.
9 – Heart of Gold – Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
Not every inappropriate ship is phallic, some are boobs.
Douglas Adams described The Heart of Gold in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy as a long, pure white ship that looks like a running shoe. It kept that look for the BBC television series, but when it came to the big screen, The Heart of Gold was reimagined into….a boob.
It’s large, perfectly round, and has a noticeable hole in the front of the ship. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is, to this day, the greatest sci-fi satire ever written, which is why the film producers deciding to use a teapot as the inspiration instead of the usual sci-fi ship design is the type of thing Douglas Adams would enjoy. They didn’t want to use a penile ship, but instead, they made a flying tit.
The heart of gold at the center of the Heart of Gold is an Infinite Impropability Drive. By accessing every single possibility at once, the engine is able to move the ship to any point in the universe without the need for any hyperspace, or faster than light travel. The downside is that it tends to mess with reality. Turning a nuclear missile into a whale, unleashing party balloons from a hole in space, and briefly turning the entire ship and crew into yarn are a few of the unfortunate, but ultimately safe, side effects from using the Infinite Impropability Drive.
The Heart of Gold looks like a female body part, but it’s also one of the coolest ships in all of sci-fi, and if you haven’t read Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, you need to.
8 – Dr. Gel’s Ship – Space Dandy
Not every ship is inappropriate because it looks like genitalia. There’s some out there that are just downright bizarre. Take for example, the anime Space Dandy. It’s an off the wall space opera stuffed full with references to classic sci-fi. Most episodes end with Dandy and his crew dying, or turning into zombies, then the next episode starts as if nothing ever happened. And then there’s Dr. Gel.
Dr. Gel’s spaceship is one of the weirdest designs you’ll ever see. It’s gigantic, flies vertically, has that cool triangular design to the base of it, and what else sticks out about it….oh right….the giant Statue of Liberty head with a… uh…. in its mouth. That’s…different. The reasoning behind the Statue of Liberty is never explained. It’s likely a Planet of the Apes reference considering Dr. Gel is a genius-level ape. He’s also decked out in red, white, and blue. Because America. Statue of Liberty. It makes sense.
If you’ve never watched Space Dandy, you should. It’s animated by Studio Bones and looks incredible. The sci-fi references are found in every single episode, and the series, obviously, doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s one of the best sci-fi anime out there, and when a show embraces the absurd inappropriate spaceship design trope on purpose, it’s always worth checking out.
7 – Blue Origin Rocket
We need to take a moment and get away from the world of science fiction and made up suggestive spaceships to address the giant johnson in the room.
Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin has done a lot for space exploration, from working on landers for the NASA Artemis Mission, developing an orbital space station, and pushing forward the design of reusable rockets. It also has kept alive the great tradition of suggestive space ships. Forget the successful launches, the impressive scientific and engineering feats that made the rocket possible, Blue Origin’s rocket is phallic. Not slightly. Not “squint and you can see it.” It’s right out there.
I know hundreds, thousands, of people smarter than me have worked on this and that there’s very real mathematical reasons behind the shape of the rocket. You know this too. That doesn’t make it any less amusing. No matter how many successful launches, or massive, historic explosions, take place, the rocket is going to be the butt of jokes.
6 – Nell – Battle Beyond the Stars
Roger Corman’s Battle Beyond the Stars is another 80s classic. It’s another re-telling of Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai, but IN SPAAAACCCEEE.
Made for only $2 million dollars, Battle Beyond the Stars is filled with wild designs and amazing visuals, thanks to the young art director who got his big break working on this film: James Cameron. Maybe you’ve heard of him. One of the ships specifically designed by Cameron was Nell, the space ship used by our hero, Shad, as he rounds up criminals, washed-up gunslingers, and other unlikely heroes to save his planet.
And as you can tell, Nell looks like it has breasts.
You have to credit James Cameron for designing a very different type of space ship. The forward facing arms are the opposite of the typical rear thrusters you see in sci-fi, from everything including the Enterprise-D to Serenity, which makes Nell instantly recognizable. It’s the two low-hanging compartments at the bottom of the ship that make it, well, also instantly recognizable.
Nell make look different, but in the world of Battle Beyond the Stars, it’s an outdated, older ship with only a pair of wing-mounted laser cannons to take into the climatic battle for the fate of Akira. Most of the ship is taken up by a trio of engines, giving it a speed advantage in battle to compensate for the weak firepower.
Nell’s design is so iconic that models of the ship were popular for years after the film’s release. Corman reused the design again three years later in other movies, including Space Raiders. It’s the only ship on this list that can claim to be designed by James Cameron, and the only one that looks like a bosom. Can’t forget that.
5 – Zarkov’s Spaceship – Flash Gordon
Flash Gordon is a sci-fi classic. The old adventure serials helped establish a lot of the sci-fi tropes we still see today, including a rocket that looks exactly like a part of the male anatomy. Brilliant inventor Hans Zarkov built his rocket by hand, and somehow, it works. The girthy ship is able to bring Flash, Zarkov, and Dale Arden to the planet of Ming the Merciless. It’s not the fastest ship out there, but it gets the job done.
Unlike every ship on this list, Zarkov’s rocket is never shown going fast enough to break the speed of light. Instead, in the old serials and television show, it’s mentioned to be flying 1200 miles per hour. That’s fast, but to put it in perspective, that speed would take you about 7 years to get to Mars. Back when Flash Gordon was first created, 1200 miles per hour was a ludicrous speed. Comic artist Alex Raymond first developed the look for Zarkov’s ship in 1933.
It first appeared in a 1936 film serial, making this design 90 years old. The intention was for it to be a bullet with fins. That’s….not what it looks like. The old-school retro-futuristic style of science fiction is filled with ships like Zarkov’s that look exactly like a body part. There’s no getting around it. Old book and magazine covers don’t hide the phallic influence. The real science behind this is that a long, cylindrical shape is aerodynamic and able to move through air without much friction.
Add some engines to the back of a long, firm, cylindrical shape and well…. you get the idea.
4 – Kryptonian Dropships – Man of Steel
In case you thought inappropriate spaceship designs were all found last century, here comes one you probably forgot all about: Man of Steel’s Kryptonian Dropships. Zach Snyder’s reimagining of Superman for a new century may have divided fans, and there’s a lot to say about Snyder’s sense of style, but at least he has one. For better or worse. In this case, it was for worse, as he purposely wanted the dropships to look phallic as an ode to the retro sci-fi of the 50s.
All of the Kryptonian ships in fact, look a little suspect. The prison ships bound for the Phantom Zone? Incredibly suggestive. Clark’s escape pod? It looks like a sperm. And yes, it’s all intentional. Zach Snyder developed the idea that Kryptonian technology was based around birth. Kryptonians had trouble giving birth the natural way, and so this ended up influencing their entire culture. From birthing pods to their spaceship design.
When General Zod’s Kryptonians reappear in The Flash, they have the same ship designs, so at least the DCU was consistent about giant flying space phallusees.
Also inappropriate? General Zod’s hair.
3 – The Stratosphere – Flesh Gordon
Remember back in the day when adult film parodies had creative titles? Typically obviously bad puns, like Flesh Gordon? Now a days it’s all Batman XXX or just straight up The Big Bang Theory. There’s no art to it anymore. And amazingly, Flesh Gordon is more inventive then most parodies of the last few decades.
Released in 1974, the spoof of the original Flash Gordon serial was obviously put together by sci-fi fans. It pokes fun at the absurdity of the original series while throwing a little naked flesh up on screen. That’s not the memorable part.
Flesh Gordon took the design of Zarkov’s rocketship and turned into an actual dong. There is no denying that ship is a flying dong. The intentional choice to point out every retro spaceship has a phallic design is a sight gag that still gets passed around today on social media.
The best part is, they didn’t have to change a lot from the original Zarkov design. Flesh Gordon changed all the names because of well, parody law, including Ming the Merciless to Emperor Wang the Perverted, Zarkov is Jerkoff, and Prince Barin is now Prince Precious. It’s campy, it’s over the top, and it was nominated for a Hugo award in 1975, which makes it legitimate enough to qualify for this list. I don’t know what to tell you. The 70s were a very different time.
2 – Alien Ship – The Explorers
Dumped into the summer box office of 1985 only nine days after the release of Back to the Future, The Explorers was a complete flop that, as with most sci-fi of the 80s, became a cult classic on VHS. Directed by Joe Dante and starring both Ethan Hawke and River Phoenix in their debut roles, The Explorers is a fun, family-friendly adventure through space in a homemade spaceship. There’s nothing wrong with the boys’ ship, Thunder Road, but well, look up and you’ll see what one of the alien ships looks like.
Oh come on. Seriously!? There’s even a hole in the tip.
There is absolutely no question what that ship looks like. Joe Dante had to have done this on purpose. It would fit his sense of humor. I’m going to tell myself this was on purpose. That giant ship is piloted by the father of two aliens the boys meet who learned about Earth from television reruns.
That gag in Futurama about Single Female Lawyer? It came from The Explorers. One of the aliens, Wak, and Wak’s dad, are both played by Star Trek and Stargate veteran Robert Picardo.
The Explorers is a fun film, right up until they meet the aliens, and then it all falls apart. You have to admit, the alien ship may a little inappropriate, but Thunder Road has a cool, semi-truck design to it that makes it stand out in a sea of suggestive spaceships.
1 – Lexx – Lexx
There’s nothing quite like Lexx. One of the lowest budgets of any sci-fi series of the 90s didn’t stop the production team from going nuts when designing Lexx, the most powerful weapon in both universes.
The organic spaceship resembles a giant insect, until you see it from behind, and then you can tell it’s packing.
The inside of the Lexx is also completely organic, leading to a lot of pulling and tugging on flesh for basic functions, from steering the ship to taking a shower.
Every inch of the ship is a reminder that Lexx is the most sex-obsessed sci-fi series ever made. Not even Flesh Gordon talked about it as much as the crew of the Lexx. Thankfully, we know Lexx was designed to be as suggestive as possible. The production crew have bene very up front about that, usually while giggling in interviews. The ship even had a male voice and a male personality, except for that one time it turned into a female weapon of mass destruction.
Lexx itself didn’t have a good grasp on the concept of human mating, giving its Captain, Stanley, one of the worst people in existence, a hard time when he wanted to fly to a planet of loose women.
No ship is more phallic than Lexx. That’s by design, but as you can tell, the production crew had to somehow outdo over 80 years of inappropriate ship design to put it together. Lexx is also the most powerful ship on this list, capable of destroying entire planets, devouring countless civilians, and it’s the only ship to eat Holland.
Inside and out, nothing will ever beat Lexx when it comes to being inappropriate.

Father-son thespian duo Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell have both taken their turns in the MCU; in fact, the younger Russell is set to be among the teeming throngs of characters in Avengers: Doomsday. However, even in their own project in another, totally different cinematic universe, they can’t escape it. Marvel villains large and small have signed on to star in the duo’s new Apple TV series, a spin-off of the MonsterVerse TV show Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
The series will be set in both the Cold War and the modern day, and is set to star the Russells as monster hunter Lee Shaw at various phases of his life. Shaw first appeared in Legacy of Monsters as one third of the monster-monitoring Monarch organization’s founding trio, alongside Japanese scientist Keiko Miura (Mari Yamamoto) and American cryptozoologist Bill Randa (Anders Holm); after a relatively brief expedition to the strange Axis Mundi dimension, he was brought back to our world twenty years after he’d left, thanks to time dilation. He retired to Japan, and eventually found himself wrapped up in a monster-chasing expedition with Keiko and Bill’s grandchildren to find their missing father. Now, his lost years will be explored in a new spin-off which is also slated to star Millie Brady and Pilou Asbaek. It will see Shaw race to stop the Soviet Union from unleashing a new monstrous threat that endangers the whole world.
As reported by Deadline, Corey Stoll, Ralph Ineson, and Nyasha Hatendi will all join Russell in the as-yet untitled series. Stoll starred in Ant-Man as the villainous Darren Cross, alias Yellowjacket; he returned as the disproportionate MODOK in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Robert Eggers mainstay Ineson, meanwhile, stomped all over the Earth as Galactus in last summer’s Fantastic Four: First Steps. Hatendi has yet to menace a costumed hero, but starred on the series Casual and Alex Rider, and recently appeared in the Agatha Christie adaptation Seven Dials.
What Is the MonsterVerse?
Introduced in 2014’s Godzilla, the MonsterVerse is Legendary Pictures’ cinematic universe of giant rampaging creatures. Linked by the shadowy Monarch organization that attempts to keep tabs on the world’s kaiju and keep them secret from the general populace, the MonsterVerse has expanded to five films and one TV show, with a new show and movie in development. It includes not only Godzilla, but several of his compatriots licensed from Toho, including Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah; it also features the classic American creation King Kong, and pitted him against Godzilla for the first time in almost 60 years in 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong. The net big-screen entry in the franchise, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, is due in theaters on March 26, 2027.

After 139 Million Views, It’s Officially the End of an Era for Ryan Gosling’s Action Thriller
All good things must come to an end, and for Ryan Gosling’s The Gray Man, that end is… now. For nearly four years, the action thriller has been considered one of Netflix’s biggest and most popular movies, racking up an enormous audience and securing a permanent spot in the platform’s all-time Top 10. But every titan must fall eventually and one of 2026’s biggest surprise hits has finally brought an end to its remarkable run.
Netflix has just released an updated version of its 10 Most Popular English-Language Films of All Time, with Swapped overtaking The Gray Man to claim the final spot. The Gray Man‘s 139.3 million views weren’t enough to keep its place and the Russo Bros. blockbuster has fallen out of the Top 10. Press F to pay respects now.
Released in 2022, The Gray Man was one of Netflix’s most expensive productions ever, starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, and Alfre Woodard. Like many streaming blockbusters, the film received a mixed critical reception, but quickly became one of the streamer’s biggest originals. Now, however, its place in Netflix history belongs to Swapped, which came from almost nowhere to become one of Netflix’s biggest ever films less than a year after it came out. After previously dropping out of Netflix’s weekly Top 10, it mounted a late resurgence that ultimately pushed it over the line and into the streamer’s all-time rankings. The updated Top 10 now stands as:

What is ‘Swapped’ About?
Directed by Nathan Greno, Swapped follows Michael Mason (Michael B. Jordan), a retired operative who ends up mixed up in a wild magical conflict after he meets a young girl named Ivy, whose life ends up linked to his through magical, supernatural forces, as you’d expect. But when a mysterious spell causes their two soulds to swap places, they’re forced to work together to try and break the curse before it’s too late. The voice cast includes Juno Temple, Craig Robinson, Michelle Yeoh, John Lithgow, Awkwafina, Brian Tyree Henry, and Olivia Colman.
The Gray Man and Swapped are streaming now on Netflix.

Young and the Restless fans. We saw Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) trying to make a deal with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) this week, and the big question is, why would Adam risk everything for his ex?
This is a game changer given how ruthless Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is behaving over the whole Newman Media thing. Adam wants to protect Sally from Victor. But Sally warned Adam that it could blow up in his face, and Sally’s right, but he’s not being cautious enough. We’re going to talk about how Adam’s scheme could put him back on Victor’s bad side and what’s coming next.
Young and the Restless: Sally Doomed with Adam’s Help
So, earlier this week, Adam approached Sally about the offer she and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) made to sell Newman Media back to Victor. They made the offer and he told Sally he’d think about it. So, she naively thinks Victor might truly be considering it, but he’s not. And Adam told Sally that. And then Adam asks why Sally even considered selling to Victor when she was originally so determined to fight for her company. So Sally admitted to Adam she and Audra realized they are no match for Victor. So Sally and Audra decided just to avoid trouble and give Victor what he wants for a fair price.
While Adam thinks Sally’s instincts are spot on, Adam also warns Sally there is no way that Victor will ever accept that deal. Adam is sure that Victor will not buy back what was taken from him. He wants to yank it back to tear it away from Sally and cause some pain while he does it. And Adam does not want that for Sally. Plus, Adam knows not only will Victor not buy back Newman Media, but he will try and destroy Sally’s company.
And he didn’t give a care when Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam tried to talk Victor down because Sally’s pregnant and they don’t want her stressed. She doesn’t want to give up her company for nothing. But Victor doesn’t care that Sally didn’t steal Newman Media. She didn’t do this. Heck, she didn’t even want it. But Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) insisted and then he’s the one who rolled it into AbbottCom, which then became Spectra Charles. So, Victor is blindly chasing revenge as usual.
Y&R: Adam’s Secret Deal and Victor’s Revenge
So, that’s when Adam told Sally his big idea, and he thinks this will give Victor what he wants, but also not leave Sally with nothing. And Adam’s plan would allow Sally and Audra to avoid a war. So, Adam proposed he would buy Newman Media from Sally, but he’ll do it secretly and behind Victor’s back. So, that way, Sally will get what Newman Media is worth, and she won’t be losing it for nothing. And Victor will feel like he’s won since he won’t know that Adam paid Sally under the table out of his own pocket.
So, Sally was really shocked that Adam would go behind Victor’s back like this. She always doubts that he will actually stand up to his dad because she’s been there. She’s done that. She has the t-shirt. Sally knows how hard Adam has worked for Victor’s approval and his acceptance. And Sally didn’t have a reason to trust Adam. And also Sally doesn’t want to owe Adam anything.
Young and Restless: Adam’s Choosing Sally Over Victor
So, he told Sally that after everything he’s done, Victor still didn’t give him a spot at Newman Enterprises. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is running it and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has a job waiting as soon as he’s clean and sober from his addiction. But Adam doesn’t have a seat at the table. And the only way he’ll get one is to stand by and let Victor screw over Sally by stealing the company from her.
And it’s true that Adam and Chelsea would love to have Newman Media back, but not at the cost of destroying Sally. Both Adam and Chelsea are very wary of putting Sally under stress that could cause pregnancy complications or a miscarriage. As for Victor, I honestly think that might be what he actually wants.
Not that he just doesn’t care. He may want this because he knows Sally is carrying Billy’s baby. And Victor hates Billy more than he hates Matt, more than he hates Jack, more than he hates anybody. I think so. Victor might be trying to cause problems so that Billy doesn’t wind up with a child with Sally. I put nothing past Victor. He might even rationalize it that it would be doing Sally a favor so she wouldn’t be tethered for the rest of her life to Billy.
Young and the Restless: Deception and Inevitable Fallout
So, Adam also promised Sally that Victor wouldn’t know about their secret deal. Adam said just him, Chelsea, and Sally would know and presumably her partner Audra as well. And Adam is certain that Victor will not find out. But Sally’s skeptical, understandably.
And while she doesn’t want to owe Adam anything, he told Sally if they do this deal, that has nothing to do with owing him. Adam says he’ll always be indebted to Sally, not the other way around. Adam hates the way things ended between them and between him and Sally because he cheated on her with Chelsea.
And Adam hates that he hurt Sally then and he doesn’t want her hurt by Victor. Now, he’s trying to protect Sally and to make amends, but she thinks it’s inevitable that Victor will find out because he always does. And Sally warned Adam if he goes behind his dad’s back like this, it’ll cause huge fallout between him and Victor. So, Sally wanted to know if Adam is prepared for that. Now, he says he is, but that’s because he really thinks for some insane reason that he can slip this by Victor.
Y&R: Adam Tries to Fool Victor
Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday have Chelsea and Adam making a power move to impress Victor. So, at that point, Sally might have agreed to take Adam’s bargain because it’s her best option and really her only option since Victor won’t make a deal with her. And then Adam and Chelsea are going to tell Victor, “Okay, we’re going to take the company from her. You don’t have to do it. We’ll do it.”
And even if Victor believes that Adam has snatched Newman Media back from her, that might not be enough for Victor. He may tell Adam he’s still going to destroy Sally anyway as a slap at Billy. And if Victor finds out Sally got a payday from Adam, which seems inevitable, then I think Victor will double down on targeting Sally while also lashing out at Adam. I could see Victor demand that Sally give him the money that Adam paid her for Newman Media.
Young and Restless: Victor’s as Ruthless as They Come
We all know how ruthless and horrible Victor is. And he of course will be ticked off that Adam betrayed him. All the progress he’s made with Victor, you know, where Adam’s now integrated into the family fully and accepted by his siblings and by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). All of that could be damaged and tossed aside because Victor would rage at him.
I will say Nick probably would be on Adam’s side. He doesn’t want Sally hurt either. But Victoria, as usual, would be on team daddy. And even if Victor targets Sally anyway, we could see a return to the fun old days when Victor and Adam were at war and were targeting each other because that was high drama.
I also expect we could see Sally having some stress-induced pregnancy complications because of Victor. I think that might bother the other Newmans, including Nikki. But we all know that Victor wouldn’t care if Sally and her baby both died because Victor is horrible. And at this point, he’s pretty much irredeemable and it’s all down to the bad writing.
Young and the Restless: Jill Stops Victor?
However, once Adam’s sneaky plan is discovered by Victor, because I’m sure it will be if he keeps coming for Sally, we could see Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) intervene because that’s her future daughter-in-law who is carrying her grandbaby. And I think that she could actually rein in Victor. You never know. Jill might have all kinds of dirt on Victor.
And of course, Billy won’t be happy that Sally cut a deal with Adam and he won’t trust it. And then when Victor presumably and inevitably comes after Sally anyway, you know, Billy will probably blame Adam, especially if something happens with her pregnancy. Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is trying to get the DA to offer Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) a deal to flip on Victor.
So, maybe that’ll work out and Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will get the goods to arrest Victor before he can wreak more havoc on Sally. So we’ll see. But the bottom line is Adam truly is risking everything for Sally. But at least he’s not doing it behind Chelsea’s back.

Bold and the Beautiful saw Eric Forrester‘s (John McCook) shocking interview that turned into an unhinged rant. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) had to drag Eric away from the microphone. But it was too late. The damage was done. Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) were stunned. But so was Eric’s family.
Meanwhile, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is absolutely gleeful because of how many times Eric said Logan because it is free publicity. Let’s talk about the epic fallout coming after Eric’s explosive interview that is going to prove disastrous.
Bold and the Beautiful: Eric’s Explosive Interview Disaster
So, early this week, we saw Forrester launch Eric’s new couture collection, and they did exactly what I expected. It was only a live stream rather than an in-person fashion show with press and influencers there. Ridge and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) thought it would avoid questions about Katie and Hope and Logan. But then the Forresters decided to let Eric do just one interview, and it was an unmitigated disaster.
The reporter kept prodding Eric about Logan until he got all flustered and he just started going off. He said Katie used to be kind. But now she has stolen Hope from Forrester and Eric ranted that Logan stole Forrester’s thunder. Steffy and Ridge look horrified as he just kept ramping up. Eric said it was thievery and then he blamed Bill. And Eric even called Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) out saying he’s just like his father. He just looked crazy. Eric threw what I think you can only call a temper tantrum.
B&B: Ridge Made a Mistake
What’s funny is on soap social media, I’ve seen a bunch of fans saying that Ridge should have kept Eric in retirement or that it was a mistake for Ridge to bring him back. Because let’s be real, if Eric hadn’t gone to Logan, hadn’t gone to the competition, I don’t think Ridge would have asked his dad back. Of course, Bill’s thrilled by all of this publicity that’s free.
And he said what I mentioned on a recent video that Forrester is making big PR mistakes because they don’t have Katie there taking care of that for them. And the question is, where’s that outside firm that Brooke and Ridge hired to replace her? Because Eric should have gotten some media training. Bill doesn’t care that he was called out. But Will’s bothered.
Bold and Beautiful: Katie’s Devastated
Hope took it in stride. But Katie is really upset. Even when Bill shows her that Eric’s interview is blowing up online, and not in a good way, it’s blowing up in his face. So, let’s talk about the fallout ahead for the Forresters.
So, this week, Bill’s laughing and he’s showing Katie how people are turning Eric into memes. Public sentiment is on Katie’s side. It’s on Logan’s side. And I suspect Ridge and Steffy will be unhappy to see a lot more online memes and negative feedback about Eric’s nasty tirade that honestly was full of lies.
But Katie is still humiliated and tells Bill that he made her sound like a tacky thief. But he tells Katie it is free PR. And I personally think that the memes they came up with could have been done better. They look pretty lame. But the bottom line is that the public is on team Logan and they think Eric has lost it. And I’m sure Ridge isn’t going to want Eric to know he’s being mocked online.
Bold Reputational Damage and Corporate Toxicity
So, I expect Steffy and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), they’re going to see they’re getting a lot of negative publicity. People love an underdog and that’s what Eric made Katie into. Plus the idea that she stole Hope is insane. You cannot steal a person like that and make them work at your fashion house. Another thing that I fully expect is that sales are going to be way less than expected. I didn’t think Eric’s designs were all that great. It was monochromatic, old-fashioned, and not in like a cool vintage way, just uninspired.
And I think it was done intentionally that the dresses don’t look as good as what he did for Logan. What’s wild is that it’s the most expensive collection Forrester Creations has ever had, and it’s just blah. Steffy was happy to report that Eric’s name was trending online during the launch. But I think Carter may report post-launch that it is trending for very bad reasons after the interview, and that can affect the reviews and the sales of the line. So, I don’t think Eric’s line is going to do as well as they’re expecting or as well as they need it to.
Bold and Beautiful: The Forresters Lose Everything
Ever since Carter mentioned the steep cost, I’ve had a feeling that it wasn’t going to do well, wouldn’t be as profitable as Forrester needs it to be. And because of that, I think we could at some point see Forrester in financial trouble. Bottom line, because of Eric’s rant and the lackluster designs, this whole thing could wind up as a huge embarrassment for Ridge and Steffy and of course, most of all for Eric.
Another thing that I think we’re going to see is more questions about the toxic culture at Forrester Creations. First of all, Katie left when she felt devalued and then Eric was forcibly retired and so he went and joined Katie. But then he came back after Bill revealed to the entire fashion press that Ridge had fired his own dad on Bold and the Beautiful.
Bold and the Beautiful: Hope Doing Great on her own
Now Hope walked away and she did a phenomenal show at Logan to reveal that Brooke had no idea that she had left to go to Logan. And all of that was sparking so many questions. And then there’s this tirade of Eric and that just iced the cake. I suspect people will ask more about the working conditions at Forrester.
And Carter warned the family that rumors were circulating about their corporate culture. And people may wonder if Eric was dragged back to Forrester and that’s part of why he lost it. I mean, if the Logans can take Hope, then the Forresters can take Eric, right?
I mean, bottom line, if the family can’t do effective damage control, I think their reputation is going to keep on taking hits. And that can affect not just the sales of Eric’s new couture line. But the jewelry line and other lines because Eric was ranting about the jewelry line specifically and the big diamond.
Ironically, they could use a PR guru like Katie about now to clean up this mess and try and make Forrester look less toxic than it is. But I think we all know it is toxic.
B&B Logan’s Momentum and Forrester’s Desperation
So, the next thing I think is we’re going to see Katie, Hope, and Bill and all the Spencers more determined than ever to crush Forrester and make sure Logan thrives. Next week, Hope is getting started on her new collection with Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone). I’m sure Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) has been working on new jewelry designs.
Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) is on board to help. He’s done design before. And maybe after Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) kicks Will permanently to the curb this week after he accidentally hits Eric, then Will’s going to stop pouting and actually behave like he’s got a real job and also want to target the Foresters.
And Logan also needs another designer ASAP. But all of this publicity they’re getting might bring some really good designers knocking at their door. I’m still hoping that they might snag Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz). He may decide to get off the sinking ship that is Forrester Creations and he’s been a victim of the toxic culture there. His line was repeatedly shelved and then he got stuck working for R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti).
Bold and the Beautiful: Forrester Fights Back Hard
And last but not least, I think Forrester is going to be desperate to get a new line out to make Eric’s little disaster part of their past. Kind of like how they were trying to erase his launch at Logan. Now they may be trying to erase Eric’s launch at Forrester from the memories of the fashion press and the public.
So, they might try and use the designs that Thomas Forrester and Zende did for Hope for the Future and they could brand it under Steffy’s name because that would really burn Hope’s buns. And with Hope starting on a new collection, the Forresters might even try and time their next launch to mess up Katie’s launch of Hope at Logan for her second collection. And Ridge made it clear that the war between Forrester Creations and Logan is far from over. But the fallout from Eric’s temper fit is going to be real messy.
Nancy Grace is on the case! Hours after Nolan Xavier Wells‘ funeral, Grace led a ‘Crime Stories’ segment about his disappearance and death. The nearly hour-long segment has since gone viral across social media platforms. While some folks are rejoicing at her highlighting the details of the investigation, others appear to be accusing her of peddling misinformation. Amid that divide, Nancy hopped on social media to clock anyone trolling her interest in Nolan’s case.

What Did Nancy Grace Cover In Her Nolan Wells Segment?
As mentioned, the ‘Crime Stories’ segment centering Nolan Wells dropped on YouTube on Monday (July 20). In 20 hours, it racked up over 600,000 views, 22,000 likes and more than 9,400 comments. Nancy Grace discussed investigation details shared with the public by either the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, other agencies, Nolan’s parents and their family attorney, Ben Crump.
For 48 minutes, she discussed key topics like the circumstances of his disappearance, questions about the investigation, witness statements, the independent autopsy and expert analysis. Additionally, she interviewed people like Todd Terrell, the president of the United Cajun Navy and Sheryl McCollum, the forensic investigator and founder of Cold Case Investigative Research Institute. She emphasized questions that the investigators should be locked in on. Also, Grace repeatedly highlighted the mystery surrounding Wells’ death and disappearance.
Grace promoted the ‘Crime Stories’ segment about Nolan via X (formerly Twitter) on Monday afternoon. Her 57-second clip has collected nearly half a million views in less than 24 hours and more than 550 retweets. At the time this article was published, there were also 155 replies to the promotional clip.
As mentioned, the responses to her coverage have been divided. Some folks are loving her “on their necks” energy, but others are claiming she’s going IN way too soon and without credible information. In those same X replies, Nancy cleared the air, expressing that it’s worth it to cover Nolan Wells’ case.

Meanwhile, @themightygungi1 added on, “You are absolutely hopping on the train big mouth.” To that Grace replied, “Wow. I haven’t heard ‘big mouth’ in a long time.”
Additionally, @GailKel94916486 wrote, “Nancy, you are always wrong, so take your race baiting to another state. We don’t need it! These guys were friends and Nolan refused to get back on the boat because he wanted to stay on the island. His phone was not tampered with. Get your facts straight! It was an accident.” Grace responded:

Another X user (@ElleElvira77) called Nancy Grace a “piece of sh*t,” accused her of spreading misinformation. “Nolan accidentally drowned like people do EVERYDAY! You’re feeding into black supremacist lies! GFY,” the user added. Nancy Grace replied, “I hope it was an accident. No need for name calling.” She told at least four other X users that she too hopes they’re “right” about his death being an accident.

Moreover, she responded to comments about cell reception on Horn Island being the reason Nolan Wells’ device appeared to be missing texts. For example, @demarais7, commented that there weren’t messages “because they didn’t have service in that area and he wasn’t using his phone.” To that Grace replied, “You may be right, but others sent and received messages at the same time from the same place.” When another user (@BKFC_ASC) called her an idiot over her take on the messages, Nancy Grace said, “Sorry you feel investigating Nolan’s death is a waste of your time. I do not.”
And after a separate X user called her a “anti-white, race-baiting freak,” Nancy replied, “Thanks for watching. I’ve been called so much worse!”
