10 Dystopian Movies That Are Perfect From the First Scene to the Last
Dystopian movies are a particularly potent and popular subset of science fiction cinema. That may be because they’re becoming increasingly reflective of our current reality or simply due to our own morbid fascination with our inevitable decline and demise. Either way, there are lots of incredible, and incredibly depressing, dystopias that have been depicted in movies, and some of those are pretty much perfect from beginning to end.
Perfection in film is as unlikely as the notion that humanity will ever create a true utopia, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t films that we’re willing to ignore the individual faults of in favor of what they provide for us. Like deluded citizens in a technoir police state, we buy into the reality of these dystopian films hard. Whether you choose the red pill for these movies or not, we’d still like to argue that these dystopian movies are perfect from their first scene to their last.
‘Metropolis’ (1927)
Fritz Lang‘s staggering silent sci-fi classic Metropolis basically set the blueprint for all future dystopian films to follow. Its expressionistic vision of a mechanized society has influenced the designs of so many subsequent sci-fi films, including several on this list, as have the mechanics of its plot surrounding economic disparity and class divide. Lang was influenced by the skyscrapers of New York and the industrialization of World War I in creating his depiction of a dystopian future.
In the titular future city, the wealthy elite reside in their steel towers while the workers toil away in the bowels of the city. The conflict between the classes is personified by the personal battle between city master Fredersen (Alfred Abel) and his son Freder (Gustav Frohlich), who rebels against his father in an attempt to bring unity to the city. There’s also a deranged inventor who creates a humanoid robot as a means to bring about the destruction of the city. The depiction of the machine-human Maria (Brigitte Helm) was one of the earliest ever robots on film, and its legacy has extended far beyond into the future.
‘A Clockwork Orange’ (1971)
Stanley Kubrick‘s ultraviolent vision of a future Britain in A Clockwork Orange will never be mistaken for anything resembling reality. The stylized aesthetic, complete with iconic costume design and fictional slang taken directly from the novel by Anthony Burgess, is a world unto itself, but still one that has a lot to say about our own. It’s a visceral depiction of a violent youth in rebellion within a totalitarian state that only knows how to respond with its own brand of violent therapy to recondition him.
Alex DeLarge (Malcolm McDowell) leads a gang of violent youths known as Droogs. After a series of violent physical and sexual assaults, Alex is eventually caught and imprisoned. In prison, he’s subjected to a form of drastic conversion therapy designed to make his violent impulses repulsive. A Clockwork Orange was controversial upon its release, and it still has a fair amount of potency even decades later. Even for fans of dystopian cinema, it can be a bit hard to stomach, but it’s still a vital piece of cinema made by one of the greatest directors of all time.
‘Blade Runner’ (1982)
If there’s any depiction of a dystopian future that could be considered the most quintessential, Ridley Scott‘s Blade Runner would probably be it. The film went from a box office bomb to a bona fide cult classic and has since been canonized as a sci-fi masterpiece thanks to its iconic visuals. The rain-soaked tech noir vision of the future meshes perfectly with the hard-boiled detective story that has been partially transplanted from Philip K. Dick‘s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Blade Runner is a totemic cyberpunk movie, and its influence on the sci-fi genre at large cannot be overstated.
Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is a former Los Angeles police officer tracking down rogue replicants, androids built for labor and combat. He’s called back into duty when four replicants, led by the violent Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer), run amok in the city. His investigation also brings him into contact with the advanced replicant Rachael (Sean Young), with whom he develops a connection that forces him to question his humanity. Questions of what constitutes identity and consciousness lie under the slick surface of Blade Runner, which operates efficiently on its own vibes but has deeper themes for those who want to look a little closer.
‘Brazil’ (1985)
Terry Gilliam‘s satirical sci-fi film Brazil is probably the funniest depiction of an Orwellian dystopia ever put on film. It’s a dystopia where a man can be tortured to death thanks to clerical error, which is frankly a far more realistic depiction of a totalitarian government than those that are depicted as operating with lethal efficiency. Brazil is filled with all the fanciful flourishes that make Gilliam such an idiosyncratic filmmaker and serves as a comedic counterpart to George Orwell’s 1984, which had just had a major adaptation the year prior.
Sam Lowry (Jonathan Pryce) lives in a bureaucratic nightmare while dreaming of being a knight in shining armor who saves a beautiful woman. When Sam sees the woman of his dreams, his infatuation puts him in collaboration with the resistance and at odds with the powerful Ministry. Brazil is a dark slice of political satire made decadent with a retrofuturistic production design that’s equal parts brutalist and absurdist. Alongside Blade Runner, the visuals of Brazil inspired many further depictions of the future, especially those with a bend towards black comedy.
‘RoboCop’ (1987)
RoboCop is the best film version of the comic book series Judge Dredd that has ever been made. Despite not being an official adaptation in any capacity, and the fact that there are two wildly different movies actually based on the comics, Paul Verhoeven‘s ultraviolent satire shares a lot of DNA with the 2000 AD character. Both focus on a law enforcement officer who deals out bloody justice in a crime-ridden future, taking potshots at American consumerism, corporate culture, and police privatization.
In the future, Old Detroit is a hellscape that megacorporation Omni Consumer Products has plans to pave over to make way for the new Delta City. They already control the police, and their next step is to upgrade their officers into something more destructive and programmable. Enter recently murdered police officer Alex Murphy (Peter Weller), who’s turned into the chrome-plated cop of the future. RoboCop is just as absurdist as Brazil, but Verhoeven is far more explicit than Gilliam, filling the frame with a lot of flesh and blood, but never without purpose. RoboCop is an indictment of Reaganomics that takes it to a sci-fi extreme.
‘They Live’ (1987)
The same year that Verhoeven was applying an outsider’s perspective to American politics with his sci-fi dystopia, John Carpenter was doing the same with his homegrown anger and disillusionment. They Live is yet another film that takes very specific aim at Reagan-era policies, but still hits the bullseye today with its satire. In They Live, the extra-terrestrials have already landed and taken control, and most of humanity doesn’t even know or has already bent the knee. It’s a blunt and brutally funny satire that only Carpenter could make.
Nada (Roddy Piper) drifts into town looking for work, finding a home at a camp where he also becomes aware of a secretive underground that’s also manufacturing sunglasses. Those glasses give Nada an unfiltered view of the world that surrounds him, discovering a race of bug-eyed aliens that live among humans, as well as the propaganda that hides under everyday advertisements. Carpenter isn’t dealing with subtlety here, but his bluntness is part of what makes They Live so effective, and why it feels even more vital today.
‘Akira’ (1988)
Akira is an iconic action anime that had a huge impact on the medium’s proliferation internationally and especially in the United States. It was the first major anime to find success in the Western world, and has been a continual influence on it since. It’s also a totemic cyberpunk film with one of the most indelible depictions of a dystopia in any medium. Directed by Katsuhiro Otomo and based on his manga, Akira ranks among the greatest in just about every genre, format and style it touches.
In 2019, Neo-Tokyo is a military-controlled future city built on top of the remains of its namesake city, which was destroyed by the titular character, a powerful psychic. Kaneda, the leader of a motorcycle gang, joins a government resistance group after his childhood friend Tetsuo becomes a test subject in a secret government lab for those with psychic abilities. There’s a lot of rather dense worldbuilding that’s efficiently executed in the film, which speeds along thanks to some kinetic action scenes. Akira has a well-earned legacy in all its sci-fi subgenres.
‘The Matrix’ (1999)
Akira is one of several anime that were foundational influences on The Matrix. The pop-cultural behemoth of a sci-fi action movie aestheticized the cyberpunk attitude and dystopian themes of movies like Ghost in the Shell through film noir and a heavy dose of Philosophy 101. Even though its effects and style were mimicked in Hollywood movies for almost a decade, nothing ever came quite as close to recapturing the first film’s innovation or impact, not even the sequels, which became far more bombastic and overloaded with philosophy student debates as dialogue.
The arc of Neo (Keanu Reeves), the hacker messiah, is definitely enthralling, with a lot of Christian allegory and Buddhist philosophy overlaying a kind of superhero origin story. But the most interesting aspect of the film and its dystopia is presented in the supporting character Cypher (Joe Pantoliano), who betrays his human compatriots in exchange for getting plugged back into the simulated world. The Matrix raises a thousand interesting questions but hardly scratches the surface on most of them, but that’s part of what makes it such a fun sci-fi film to overanalyze and dissect.
‘Children of Men’ (2006)
Blah blah prescient film. Yadda yadda still reflects today. What has been written ad nauseam about all these dystopian movies online and in the preceding paragraphs also applies to Children of Men. This writer is guilty of typing out a bunch of pretentious nonsense about the values of Alfonso Cuarón‘s dystopian masterpiece on multiple occasions. There’s no need to add more superlatives to a film that has already received a lot of acclaim, except to add that it also rips as an action movie.
Similar to The Battle of Algiers or the more recent One Battle After Another, the film cleverly disguises its action setpieces through the lens of civil unrest and violent conflict. That’s pretentious film fanatic for “its action you’ll feel kind of weird for enjoying.” It’s especially unnerving when you can apply its images to any number of current events, as could they also be mistaken for images of events from decades past. Children of Men is also a sad observation of the human capacity for violence and hate, but it’s also got action scenes that’ll knock you on your ass.
‘WALL-E’ (2008)
At first glance, WALL-E doesn’t seem as prescient as some other dystopian films. It seems like it was making some very obvious observations about over-consumption, environmental preservation, and human reliance on technology. Except those obvious observations were being made about very different things in 2008. The Buy-N-Large corporation was once a satire of big box stores like Walmart, which has since been superseded by Amazon. Humans’ reliance on technology is an old theme in sci-fi, but the screen addiction shown in WALL-E is shockingly accurate for a film released only one year after the first iPhone.
WALL-E offers a very unsettling possible future for humanity, but it’s all wrapped around a love story between two robots that’s so charming and adorable it’ll leave you smiling through the mountains of trash. WALL-E is the only robot left on Earth, dutifully cleaning up humanity’s mess while pining for someone to hold metal hands with. That’s when the advanced robot EVE lands, and an intergalactic romance and adventure begins. WALL-E is Stanton’s best film, Pixar’s best film, and the best film to feature an anal-retentive cleaning robot named MO.

Matthew McConaughey Is Serving Tequila By The Scoop
Matthew and Camila McConaughey are giving tequila lovers a new way to celebrate National Tequila Day, no cocktail shaker required.
The couple’s Pantalones Organic Tequila has joined forces with Tipsy Scoop to transform the classic margarita into a frozen, alcohol-infused dessert. The collaboration begins with a limited-edition Peaches & Cream Margarita Ice Cream before expanding later this summer with a vegan flavor created exclusively for Tipsy Scoop’s new Dallas location.
According to a press release sent to The Blast, the partnership is intended to bring “the best of happy hour” to the ice cream shop during one of the hottest stretches of summer.

Launching July 22, the Pantalones Peaches & Cream Margarita Ice Cream blends fresh peach ice cream with Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila and a hint of lime. The result is intended to capture the sweet, creamy, and slightly tart flavor of a peach margarita in scoopable form.
“Most margaritas are served on the rocks. This summer, we’re deciding to serve ours by the scoop,” Pantalones Organic Tequila CMO Persia Tatar said in the release. “National Tequila Day is one of our favorite holidays, so partnering with Tipsy Scoop to turn a summer margarita into ice cream felt like a no-brainer. It’s fun, unexpected, and proof that tequila belongs in more places than just your glass.”
The limited-edition flavor will be available through August at every Tipsy Scoop Barlour. Customers can purchase an individual scoop for $8.50 or take home a pint for $16.
Fans Can Order The Boozy Ice Cream Nationwide

Fans who do not live near a Tipsy Scoop location will still be able to try the McConaugheys’ latest creation. The Peaches & Cream Margarita flavor is available for nationwide delivery through Goldbelly in a four-pint package priced at $109.95. The bundle also includes a keepsake insulated Tipsy Scoop tote bag.
This is not simply tequila-flavored ice cream. According to the Goldbelly product listing, the frozen dessert contains up to 5% alcohol by volume. That places its maximum alcohol content in the range of some beers, meaning customers must be at least 21 years old to purchase or consume it. An adult signature is also required when the package is delivered, and it cannot be left unattended at the door.
The ice cream contains milk and is processed in a facility that also handles wheat, soy, tree nuts, and peanuts.
The Collaboration Expands Tipsy Scoop’s Boozy Dessert Menu

Tipsy Scoop has been blending cocktails and frozen desserts since 2013, offering alcohol-infused takes on ice cream, sorbet, and other nostalgic treats.
The company currently operates locations in New York City and Philadelphia, along with franchises in Washington, D.C., the Bahamas, Portland, Nashville, Pensacola, and Baltimore. Dallas will become its newest market when the upcoming Barlour opens.
Its products are made with real spirits rather than flavoring alone, which is why they are reserved for adults. The brand’s other creations have included Cake Batter Vodka Martini ice cream, Mango Margarita Sorbet, and Tequila Mexican “Hot” Chocolate.
For the McConaugheys, the collaboration also creates another way to place Pantalones outside the traditional liquor aisle and introduce the tequila to customers through an unconventional summer product.
Pantalones Continues To Grow

Matthew and Camila co-founded Pantalones Organic Tequila as a premium spirits brand with a deliberately irreverent personality. Produced in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico, its portfolio is made with 100% blue Weber agave and includes Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, and Extra Añejo expressions. The brand is also USDA-certified organic.
“The world doesn’t need another celebrity tequila, but tequila sure could use a kick in the pants. Pantalones Organic Tequila is the best thing we’ve made with our pants on,” Matthew and Camila McConaughey said in a statement. “We said, ‘let’s do it together and be face-forward.”
Pantalones Backs Up Its Playful Marketing With Major Awards

Despite its comedic marketing, Pantalones has collected several industry honors. Its Añejo earned a Double Gold medal at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition for the third consecutive year, elevating the expression to Platinum status. Wine Enthusiast also awarded 94 points to both its Blanco and Añejo tequilas, while the Reposado received 93 points.
Now, Pantalones is putting that award-winning Reposado into an adults-only dessert that allows fans to toast National Tequila Day with a spoon instead of a shot glass.

Cardi B Dubs Herself ‘Hip-Hop’s Britney Spears’
Cardi B has broken her silence on her latest romantic interest, admitting she doesn’t like all the attention on her love life.
The rapper caused a buzz after having a flirty interaction with soccer player Maduka Okoye during Paris Fashion Week. However, things intensified after the pair were spotted on a dinner date abroad.
Now, Cardi B is addressing the chatter, describing the frenzy as over the top, as she is simply having a good time.

After her outing with Maduka caused quite the stir online, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper took to her Instagram Live to address fans.
“No cap, I’m really hip-hop’s Britney Spears. Like a b-tch right here feeling like Britney,” she began in the recording taken in her vehicle.
Cardi then lamented that other celebrities manage to have a semblance of privacy when it comes to their intimate relationships. However, the reverse is the case for her. “When it comes to me b-tch, I can’t even f-cking p-ss in a cup,” she slammed as seen in a viral clip.
Nevertheless, the Grammy winner isn’t bothered by all the attention, because there are stars who would play to have their names on everyone’s lips. Concluding her rant, Cardi declared that she welcomes all the drama.
She took to her X page to reiterate her message, writing, “Just know …I understand Britney Spears.”
Cardi B’s Date Night Ignites Baby Mama Scandal
Perhaps the “drama” Cardi is referring to is bombshell allegations revealed by Okoye’s baby mama following their date night in Italy.
As reported by The Blast, Jelicia Westhoff, who shares a child with the soccer star, took to social media to accuse him of infidelity and negligent parenting.
Seemingly triggered by his budding romance with the rapper, Westhoff claimed Okoye cheated on her numerous times with both women and men during their relationship. Dropping a major bomb about the athlete’s sexuality, she alleged that Okoye came out as bisexual to her.
Westhoff further called out Okoye for irresponsible parenting, recalling an incident in December last year when their son was sick and hospitalized four times but the soccer star didn’t come visit once.
“I been calm; I gave you 1000000 chances, and do you take care of him no?” she slammed.
Inside Cardi B And Maduka Okoye’s Date Night

While Westhoff put her baby daddy on blast, Okoye seemed busy enjoying his time with Cardi B after their initial spark in Paris.
According to The Blast, weeks after their encounter at PFW, the pair were spotted on a date at Gio’s restaurant at the St. Regis. Cardi and the footballer appeared cozy, sitting next to each other while joined by friends at the table.
Although they were chatty, there was no display of PDA as reported by eyewitnesses. The “I Like It” songstress looked ravishing in a figure-hugging turquoise dress with a plunging neckline that accentuated her bosom.
Cardi B’s Baby Daddy Battles Assault Allegations

As the rapper explores her connection with Okoye, questions have risen about the state of her relationship with her baby daddy, Stefon Diggs.
Cardi and the NFL player first debuted their romance in May 2025 and, in the months that followed, announced the birth of their son. However, they have been on-and-off ever since.
Amid the instability of their romance, Diggs is embattled in a bitter legal drama with social media influencer Christopher Griffith, who has accused him of sexual assault.
Per The Blast, in the case’s latest update, Griffith revealed to the court that he has turned over more than 100 pages of communication between him and the former New England Patriots alum.
The Rapper And NFL Player Were Involved In A Heated Altercation

Last month, Diggs and Cardi made headlines after they were spotted having a tense moment during an outing in Maryland.
After an unexpected reunion, the co-parents got tongues wagging after they were caught arguing in public outside a coffee shop and gym location. Footage from the incident showed the “WAP” rapper screaming and making angry gestures as she addressed Diggs.
Although no audio was provided from the argument, Diggs later addressed fans’ speculation about a breakup, claiming there was no trouble in paradise. “That’s my child’s mother. I love her to death,” he said, per The Blast.

Sydney Sweeney’s New Sci-Fi Remake Officially Scores a Major Update at Netflix
Netflix recently updated its all-time streaming rankings, and the latest figures show the platform is enjoying another blockbuster year. At least three of the streamer’s 2026 releases have now secured spots on its prestigious all-time viewership chart, including Jon Bernthal‘s His & Hers, Alan Ritchson‘s War Machine, and the family fantasy Swapped. Harlan Coben‘s I Will Find You also appears well on its way to joining them, with the twist-filled thriller continuing to attract audiences weeks after its premiere. With several high-profile originals still on the way, Netflix’s all-time rankings are likely to welcome even more additions before the year is over. Among the biggest contenders is one of the streamer’s most anticipated upcoming movies, which has just taken a major step toward its release.
Science fiction has proven to be one of Netflix’s most successful and globally resonant genres across series and movies, as proven by titles such as The Adam Project, Don’t Look Up, and 3 Body Problem. In hopes of scoring another major success in the genre, the streamer turned to one of Japan’s most iconic franchises, acquiring the rights to Gundam in 2021. Several years later, Netflix officially announced the franchise’s first live-action adaptation, based on the beloved Mobile Suit Gundam series. Set against the backdrop of a war between Earth and its space colonies, the story centers on rival factions battling for supremacy using towering, heavily armed mobile suits in some of science fiction’s most spectacular mechanized combat.
The film is intended to tell a standalone story designed to welcome newcomers while still appealing to longtime fans. Sydney Sweeney and Noah Centineo lead the cast as rival pilots drawn into a high-stakes conflict that could determine humanity’s future. Netflix has teased a Gundam experience unlike anything audiences have seen before, promising breathtaking mech battles, emotionally driven storytelling, and blockbuster-scale spectacle. Production began in April at Village Roadshow Studios on Australia’s Gold Coast, with additional location shooting in Brisbane and Toowoomba, Queensland. Now, four months later, the film has officially wrapped production, with photos from the cast’s wrap party beginning to surface across social media.
When Will Gundam Release?
With a reported budget of at least $100 million, Gundam is shaping up to be one of Netflix’s biggest sci-fi productions. Now that filming has wrapped, the project enters post-production, where much of the visual effects work needed to bring its towering mobile suits and large-scale battles to life will take place. The film is directed by Jim Mickle (Sweet Tooth), who has said the adaptation will honor the iconic elements of the original anime while introducing fresh ideas of its own.
Netflix has yet to announce an official release date, although industry speculation points to a possible 2027 debut. Alongside Sweeney and Centineo, the film features a supporting cast that includes Shioli Kutsuna (Deadpool & Wolverine), Jason Isaacs (The White Lotus), Nonso Anozie (Sweet Tooth), Michael Mando (Better Call Saul), and Ida Brooke (Dune: Part Three). Their roles remain under wraps for now, but with production complete, Netflix will naturally begin sharing more details as the film moves closer to release. Newcomers looking to familiarize themselves with the franchise can stream several Gundam animated titles on Netflix. Stay tuned for future updates.

Nintendo’s Next LEGO Collaboration Appears to Be a Massive Donkey Kong Arcade Set
Nintendo and LEGO’s partnership looks set to continue in a big way, as multiple leaks have seemingly revealed an upcoming Donkey Kong Arcade LEGO set inspired by the iconic 1981 arcade classic. While LEGO has yet to officially announce the set, retailer listings, early store sightings, and promotional images have given fans a detailed look at what could become one of the biggest Nintendo-themed LEGO releases yet.
According to the leaked information, the set contains 1,367 pieces and recreates the original Donkey Kong arcade cabinet complete with Jumpman (Mario), Donkey Kong, Pauline, scaffolding, ladders, and the game’s famous rolling barrels. Rather than serving as a simple display piece, the model reportedly features interactive mechanics that allow builders to move Jumpman with a joystick while releasing barrels using a lever, recreating the gameplay that helped launch Nintendo into gaming superstardom.
The Donkey Kong Arcade build continues LEGO’s growing line of retro gaming collectibles, following popular releases such as the LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System, Pac-Man Arcade, Game Boy, and The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree. The latest collaboration further taps into gaming nostalgia while offering an intricate display piece aimed at adult collectors.
Although an official reveal is still pending, the set has reportedly already appeared on store shelves at select retailers ahead of launch. Leaked retailer information points to an August 1 release, with an expected retail price of around $199.99 USD, though LEGO has not yet confirmed those details.
If the leaked images prove accurate, the Donkey Kong Arcade could become one of the most impressive Nintendo LEGO collaborations to date, celebrating one of the most influential games in video game history while delivering another premium build for collectors.

Clayface Goes Full Nightmare Fuel in Brutal New Official Trailer : Coastal House Media
DC Studios has released the official trailer for Clayface, and it’s becoming increasingly clear that this won’t be just another comic book movie. The new footage doubles down on the film’s gruesome body horror, delivering unsettling transformation sequences and psychological tension that make it feel closer to a modern horror classic than a traditional superhero blockbuster.
The trailer follows Matt Hagen (Tom Rhys Harries), a Gotham City native whose rise from the streets to Hollywood stardom comes to a devastating end after a violent encounter leaves him horribly disfigured. Desperate to reclaim his life and career, Hagen turns to scientist Dr. Caitlyn Corr (Naomi Ackie) for an experimental treatment. Instead of healing him, the procedure begins transforming him into the shape-shifting monster known as Clayface, sending him down a path of revenge as he slowly loses his grip on reality.
One sequence has already become the trailer’s defining moment. During a terrifying scene aboard an airplane, Hagen watches his face begin to melt before frantically using a pair of scissors in a desperate attempt to stop the transformation. Director James Watkins revealed that the sequence was so graphic that even members of the production crew struggled to watch it while filming. Multiple versions of the scissors prop were created to safely capture the disturbing practical effects.
Clayface [credit: DC Studios]
While previous marketing teased the film’s horror influences, today’s trailer fully embraces them. Grotesque facial distortions, melting flesh, and increasingly violent transformations dominate the footage, reinforcing DC Studios’ promise that Clayface is a genuine R-rated horror film rather than a superhero movie with horror elements. The film draws clear inspiration from body horror classics while telling a tragic story about fame, identity, and obsession.
Interestingly, the trailer still refuses to reveal Clayface’s complete monstrous form. Instead, Warner Bros. continues to tease glimpses of Hagen’s final transformation without giving audiences a full look at the iconic Batman villain, preserving one of the movie’s biggest surprises for its theatrical release.
Joining Harries and Ackie is Max Minghella as Gotham City detective John Pearlman, who becomes entangled in Hagen’s horrifying descent. The film is directed by James Watkins from a screenplay by Hossein Amini, based on a story by Mike Flanagan, with producers including James Gunn, Peter Safran, and Matt Reeves.
If today’s trailer is any indication, Clayface may end up being one of the most unique comic book adaptations ever released. Rather than relying on massive action sequences or world-ending stakes, the film appears focused on delivering an unsettling character-driven horror story that pushes the DC Universe into entirely new territory.

JaNa Craig Responds To Kenny Rodriguez Interview, Assault Claim
It’s been a year since ‘Love Island USA’ Season 6 stars JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez decided to call it quits. Many were shocked when the news hit the timeline, especially after JaNa’s best friend, Charmane, along with fellow Love Island USA co-stars Serena Page and Leah Kateb, seemingly hinted at Kenny sending alleged racist text messages.
Well, Kenny has officially decided to sit down and clear the air as he shares what led to the breakup, his side of the relationship, and addresses the alleged racist text messages and the backlash that followed.

Kenny Rodriguez Addresses Racist Text Claims And The Backlash He Faced Following His Breakup With JaNa Craig
Kenny Rodriguez recently sat down with Zachary Cummings on ‘The Journey ‘Podcast, where he opened up about his breakup with JaNa Craig. During the interview, Kenny addressed the alleged racist text message controversy that surfaced after his breakup with JaNa.
He claimed he generalized a few things while venting to a friend and apologized. Kenny says he understands how the messages could hurt people. He maintained that the messages do not define who he is, explaining they were sent while he was venting after enduring what he described as verbal abuse.
“I’ve dated Black women before. I have Black ancestry. I’m Dominican. Half of my family is dark skin. So how — there was never a problem with race. The problem was with how you were treating me,” he said.
Kenny also alleged that JaNa got physical with him the night she found the messages on his phone. When asked whether any of his ‘Love Island USA’ season 6 castmates reached out following the breakup, Kenny claimed Kordell Beckham did. He added that he has the utmost respect for him.
Kordell Beckham Takes To His Instagram Story To Respond To Kenny Rodriguez
As clips of Kenny Rodriguez continued circulating online Kordell quickly took to his Instagram Story to shut down the claims. Kordell made it clear that he stands with JaNa and that the call didn’t go as Kenny mentioned during the interview. He also denied ever condoning Kenny’s actions, writing, “@kennyrodriguez We not even gon get on how you sat on that podcast and lied the entire time, but what we not gon do is lie like I condoned anything you did/said. After YOU called me I got on that and we haven’t spoke since. Shout out my sis Jana love you for life girl. And keep my mf name out your mouth I don’t fw you bro.”
JaNa Craig Calls Out Kenny Rodriguez As She Denies His Recent Breakup Claims And Assault Allegation
Following Kordell Beckham’s response, JaNa Craig also took to her Instagram Story as she claimed she received a cease-and-desist before Kenny Rodriguez appeared on a podcast and made what she called “straight lies” about her. She challenged Kenny to give her permission to release their text messages, saying they would help tell the full story.
“Very ballsy of you, insane. But if you wanna play, let’s play. I think you should give me permission to drop all the text messages. Why don’t we start there? Give me permission to drop all the text messages, and then we can just go from there. You know everything you told was a lie,” she said in part.
JaNa also said she had stayed quiet for nearly a year following their breakup to focus on herself. She is now waiting for his lawyers to respond. JaNa Craig reposted Kordelll’s Instagram Story responding to Kenny Rodriguez, writing, “Love you Kordell more than anything. My brother for life.”
The following day, she returned to her Instagram Story to address claims that she assaulted Kenny.
“Never in my life have I assaulted anyone, ever. It’s not even in my character. I would never do such a thing. Most importantly, even after I’ve learned from a particular someone their views of the Black community, about the LGBTQ community, about immigrants in our country, even though their dad is an immigrant in America, I still would never, ever get physical,” she said.
Admitting they argued at times like any couple. JaNa also questioned why Kenny was making it seem like they were miserable together. JaNa also reassured fans that she isn’t stressing because she, Jesus, and God know what truly happened throughout their relationship. She thanked supporters for standing by her, adding that she isn’t bothered by the claims and is doing just fine.

Marvel Boss Officially Confirms Spider-Man’s New Replacement
2026 is a great time for Spider-Man fans, who are eagerly awaiting the premiere of the first Spider-Man movie in five years, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The film will serve as a direct follow-up to Spider-Man: No Way Home (co-starring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield), and it will follow Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) after everyone has forgotten who he is, leaving him to rely on being Spider-Man to connect him to the old world. Spider-Man fans were also treated to a new TV series earlier this year, Spider-Noir, starring Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly. The show has not officially been picked up for Season 2 yet, but the widely positive reception and viewership alludes to it receiving the chance to continue beyond Season 1.
While Peter Parker has carved out a name for himself as the Spider-Man of a generation, younger fans have found themselves flocking to Miles Morales, who was first introduced in 2011. Between his roles in the Spider-Verse movies and the Spider-Man games from Insomniac, many Spider-Man fans have found themselves more connected with Miles than Peter, despite the character not yet appearing in live-action. However, during a recent interview, Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed that Miles will eventually make his way into the MCU, saying: “I think live-action Spider-Man movies have this destiny: to add Miles [Morales] at some point after the Spider-Verse series is completed.” Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which is confirmed to be the final entry in the beloved animated franchise, will be released in theaters on June 18, 2027. After Secret Wars at the end of 2027, it’s possible that the next Spider-Man movie could center around Miles, not Peter.
What Are Miles Morales’ Powers?
Miles Morales has similar powers to Peter Parker in that he has enhanced durability, strength, and agility, along with the ability to web-swing, but he also has access to more powers that are unavailable to Peter Parker. Miles has a power known as Active Camouflage, meaning he can go nearly invisible briefly, or at least invisible enough that he completely blends into his surroundings, making him almost impossible to see. He also has access to electrical abilities, including the ability to channel electricity and harness it through punches and other moves. He’s easily one of the strongest street-level heroes in Marvel.
Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which opens in theaters on July 31.

Donnie Wahlberg & Jenny McCarthy Lead Star Studded Weekend at Circa Las Vegas
Nothing hits harder than fight weekend in Las Vegas. The best way to celebrate is with good company and great steak. No place in town does it better than Circa Las Vegas on Fremont Street. Under the neon glow of the canopy, people are always abuzz about one thing: Barry’s Downtown Prime.
It is a well-known fact that Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg’s favorite restaurant in the world is Barry’s inside of Circa. They always make it a point to stop in as much as they can, and this trip included a special guest: NKOTB member Jordan Knight. The trio snapped photos on the red carpet before sitting down for their meal. Jenny is known to post Instagram Reels showing off to all of their fans and professing how much they adore the food and restaurant. Her last two videos garnered over 2 million views to date. If you go, don’t forget to order Donny’s favorite menu item: the Oreo Ice Cream Pie.

Some of the cast of Taylor Sheridan’s action series Lioness, including LaMonica Garrett, who also just had his new action movie Man of War premiere recently, along with Thad Luckinbill, Austin Hebert, and everyone knows James Jordan not only from Lioness but Landman as well, stopped into Barry’s for dinner. After enjoying everything, they were escorted to the Legacy Club by Circa Executive Richard Wilk to snap photos at the luxurious bar overlooking the city’s lights. Talk about a superstar evening.
Content Worth Millions

Spotted at the Lucky Box vending machine, TikTok/Instagram star and former Air Force member Justin “Danger” Nunley was seen pulling a signed Fernando Mendoza jersey. Just beforehand, he was enjoying Barry’s along with his two kids and Joey Hamilton, winner of season 3 of Ink Master, along with his wife. Nunley has almost 15 million followers between both platforms, so imagine how many viewers were jealous of his exciting evening.
When Two Of The Biggest Downtown Players Meet

Serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist turned huge social media influencer John Cerasani was spotted filming his baccarat play in the high limit room and later seen at Legacy Club posing with Circa CEO/Owner Derek Stevens. Aside from his over a million fans that tune into his content about his experiences gambling, it is always great to spot him from across any room he is in.
Crazy Girls Viral Moment Inside Circa Resort

If you had a day to spend at Circa Las Vegas, what would you do? Just ask Ellie Dempster, the first female champion belt holder for PowerSlap. She was spotted on property being interviewed by Francia James, who has over 16 million followers on social media. Following the interview, the girls were having fun posing with the iconic Crazy Girls statue that sits at the entrance to Legacy Club. A video they took has over 1.5 million views. Afterward, they went up to Victory Burger & Wings inside the sportsbook to eat.
So many reasons to come to Las Vegas, and so many people to see. From the food to the events, it can be hard to narrow down everything into one trip. For those looking for everything under one roof, Circa Las Vegas seems to do just that.
