Northern Ireland weather outlook for the week ahead

The yellow warning set to continue into Monday was cancelled on Sunday evening

After an unsettled weekend, the weather forecast suggests a drier start to the week ahead.

According to the Met Office, Monday could bring some dry and crisp weather with sunny spells breaking through across parts of the country.

The forecaster has said that we could see wet and windy weather return as we move into the rest of the week.

This is what the Met Office has forecast for Northern Ireland:

Monday:

A dry and bright day with some sunny spells. A chilly evening with some fog patches forming. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Sunny spells and dry Tuesday but some morning fog.

Then windy with outbreaks of locally heavy rain Wednesday. Cloudy but dry at first Thursday with chance of rain later.
