Celeb Hairstylist Travis Ogletree Wants You to Lighten Up This Fall: From Brighter Hues to Lowering Hot Tools
Leaves are falling, and according to Travis Ogletree, a few old-school hair rules can go with them.
The celebrity hairstylist, who’s worked with Shay Mitchell, Miranda Kerr, Lana Del Rey, January Jones, and more, is telling ET which beauty beliefs are worth holding onto, plus the ones that deserve a seasonal shake-up.
First up: the idea that fall automatically calls for darker hair.
“The world has a much more relaxed approach to the idea of going lighter for summer and darker for fall now. I actually find myself going a bit lighter as my tan fades,” he reveals.
Whether you’re ready for a major color moment or just want something new this autumn, Ogletree says keeping your strands healthy should be at the top of the list.
“I use the Moroccanoil Color Calypso Demi-Permanent Glosses. They take roughly 20 minutes and last a bit longer than your average gloss. Because it’s a demi, you can add pigments to neutralize, warm up, or cool down your tone, as well as deepen the color, without the long-term commitment of a permanent shade, which makes it really useful for refreshing sun-faded color.”
“Moroccanoil also has ArganID technology behind its color lines, so they actually make the hair feel better and more conditioned,” he continues.
As for the urge to make the chop? Ogletree believes your face shape, not the trend cycle, should lead the way.
“A custom face frame tailored to accentuate your features is always in style for me, whether that’s minimizing the forehead with a longer fringe or softening a jawline with chin-length pieces.”
Once you’ve nailed your look, maintaining it goes beyond the salon chair.
“Using a hair mask, like the Weightless Hydrating Mask, once a week is a great way to make sure hair is feeling healthy and nourished. The scent is luxurious and familiar, and the lightweight nature of it makes it great for pretty much any hair type,” he shares.
If summer left your strands a little worse for wear, though, it may be time to bring in the heavy hitters.
“Try the Restorative Hair Mask, Intense Hydrating Mask, or the new Overnight Leave-In Mask. It’s a no-rinse formula that isn’t meant to replace anything in your routine, but instead, adds a boost of hydration and nourishment to make the hair softer and easier to detangle.”
But just because sweater weather is setting in doesn’t mean it’s time to turn your hot tools all the way up.
“No matter what you’re doing color-wise, make sure your hair is healthy and protected from heat styling once we move into colder months that aren’t as friendly to an air dry,” he suggests.
“My personal recommendation is to never set your hot tools over 360 degrees and don’t avoid using a heat protectant because you’re worried it will weigh your hair down. If you like something really lightweight with a glossy finish, try the Perfect Defense Heat Protectant.”
While the seasons are changing, Ogletree is holding onto one styling staple.
“People have been loving a spray-in oil in the studio lately. I’ve been using the Treatment Mist as a finishing touch to my end results for a style you can run your hands through with ease.”

These 2026 Horror Movies Are Better Than ‘Obsession’
Between indie breakouts, experimental hits, and legacy franchises, horror cinema has expanded to unpredictable dimensions in 2026. The supernatural psychological horror, Obsession, further reinforced that the genre will continue to evolve in surprising ways. YouTube creator Curry Barker’s theatrical feature debut, the movie puts a new spin on the “careful what you wish for” trope with a young man’s earnest wish for his friend to fall in love with him turning into a deadly nightmare. On its release, the film became a cult hit and has already been called an instant classic.
While Obsession has been sweeping acclaim and accolades for its standout performances and production, the year has also seen the releases of several other remarkable films that rival (and in some cases, surpass) the new horror hit. Many of these are films that earned critical acclaim, but haven’t had quite the same cultural footprint or mainstream traction, overshadowed by Obsession’s viral success. So, without further ado, here’s our selection of 2026 horror movies that are arguably better than Obsession.
1
‘Hokum’ (2026)
Written and directed by Damian McCarthy and starring Adam Scott, Hokum is a supernatural horror film about Ohm Bauman, a novelist who travels to Ireland to scatter his parents’ ashes. While staying at a remote hotel full of secrets and ghost stories, Ohm encounters a murder, horrifying visions, and disturbing events that force him to uncover the truth while also dealing with his personal demons. The movie’s cast also includes Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh, Michael Patric, and Austin Amelio.
First screened at the 2026 South by Southwest Film Festival, Hokum is an atmospheric blend of good old haunted house motifs, folk horror, murder mystery, and self-awareness, woven together with jump scares and psychological dread. Adam Scott plays against type and is riveting as a genuinely detestable character, a performance that earned him widespread acclaim. The film is a terrifying metaphor for guilt and trauma that can scare you just as much as Obsession.
2
‘Backrooms’ (2026)
Backrooms marks the feature directorial debut of YouTuber and visual artist Kane Parsons, who adapts his internet phenomenon into a chilling sci-fi psychological horror film. Set in the 1990s, the film follows Clark, a furniture store owner who discovers a hidden portal in the basement that opens into an endless maze of yellow-walled rooms. When Clarke goes missing in the labyrinth, his therapist sets out to find him, only to discover her own reality distorting. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve lead the cast, with Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, and Lukita Maxwell in other key roles.
Claustrophobic and confusing, Backrooms successfully adapts a viral internet concept into a creepy cinematic experience. The film’s unusual concept comes to life with terrific camerawork and surreal effects that make the horror feel all the more intimate. Since its release, the movie has been phenomenally successful, both critically and commercially, and it even became A24’s highest-grossing film of all time, making Parsons the youngest filmmaker to reach number one at the United States box office.
3
‘Send Help’ (2026)
Sam Raimi returns to horror after 17 years with this chilling survival horror thriller that once again proves his mastery of the genre. Starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien as the central characters, Send Help follows Linda, a finance employee, and Bradley, her newly appointed boss, who survive a plane crash and get stranded on a deserted island. While they wait for help, their desperate attempts to survive increase tensions between them, sparked by their professional hostility, leading to dangerous outcomes. The movie’s cast also includes Edyll Ismail, Xavier Samuel, Chris Pang, and Dennis Haysbert.
Filled with madness, gore, and a menacing employee-employer chemistry, Send Help makes for a welcome return for Raimi to his signature style and genre. McAdams is riveting as the overlooked employee-turned-survivor, evenly matched by O’Brien’s arrogant boss. Simultaneously frightening and darkly funny, Send Help has garnered critical acclaim for its clever writing and performances, which often surpass those of Obsession, even if it didn’t exactly shatter box office records.

‘28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ (2026)
The fourth entry in Alex Garland’s 28 Days film series, directed by Nia DaCosta, 28 Years Later: Bone Temple is a direct sequel to 2025’s 28 Years Later and follows Spike, a young survivor from the previous film, who is now adopted into Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal’s Satanic cult. Simultaneously, the isolated Dr. Ian Kelson comes closer to finding a cure with his Alpha Infected friend, Samson. Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, and Chi Lewis-Parry reprise their roles from the previous film, appearing alongside Robert Rhodes, Erin Kellyman, Emma Laird, and Sam Locke.
The 28 Days Later film series has become the definitive modern zombie horror franchise, and Bone Temple successfully expands on that reputation. Alongside deeper dread and more gruesome violence, the latest installment also boasts thought-provoking themes and emotional moments. Powered by its compelling performances, the film escapes every expectation and predictability of the genre and easily ranks among the best films of 2026.
5
‘Exit 8’ (2026)
Directed by Genki Kawamura, Exit 8 is a Japanese psychological mystery horror film based on the 2023 video game The Exit 8 by Kotake Create. The film follows an anonymous man, dubbed the Lost Man, who is stuck in a time loop inside a Tokyo Metro corridor and must find the anomalies in each loop to escape the endless repetition. Kazunari Ninomiya plays the central character, with Yamato Kochi, Nana Komatsu, Naru Asanuma, and Kotone Hanase in notable roles.
Exit 8 premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Feature Film and earned rave reviews from critics. The film eliminates all visual distractions with its simplistic, sterile environment and minimal, unnamed characters, allowing the audience to feel as helpless and hopeless as the protagonist. Released in the U.S. a year later, Exit 8 has earned praise from reviewers and fans alike for successfully translating the original experience of the game onto the screen.
6
‘Faces of Death’ (2026)
A meta-horror reimagining of the 1978 film, Faces of Death follows Margot, a content moderator for a video platform called Kino, who comes across a series of videos depicting brutal executions and deaths recreated from the titular cult horror film. When she investigates the veracity of the content, she discovers a sadistic serial killer obsessed with the movie who’s chasing online fame by posting gruesome murders. Barbie Ferreira stars as Margo, with Dacre Montgomery, Josie Totah, Aaron Holliday, Jermaine Fowler, and Charli XCX in supporting roles.
Directed by Daniel Goldhaber, Faces of Death sits right at the intersection of fiercely untraditional, deviant, and heavily meta, drawing from the exploitative nature of the original film. While its narrative is morbid and gory, it is also an intelligent and well-performed depiction of the current social media landscape and internet sleuthing. First screened at the 2026 Beyond Fest, Faces of Death earned praise for its smart meta-commentary on digital desensitization, as well as its thrilling performances, though it did face some criticism for its use of generic slasher tropes.
7
‘Leviticus’ (2026)
An Australian coming-of-age romantic supernatural horror film written and directed by Adrian Chiarella in his feature directorial debut, Leviticus follows two teenage boys in a tight-knit, religious community who are forced to undergo a supernatural conversion therapy ritual. Following the ritual, each of them gets terrorized by a terrifying shapeshifting entity that turns into the person they desire the most: each other. The film stars Joe Bird, Stacy Clausen, Jeremy Blewitt, and Mia Wasikowska.
As a tense supernatural horror built around a tender teenage romance, Leviticus is affecting in the most unexpected ways. The film’s horror does not come from the unseen entity but from how the entity’s presence causes a creeping dread in the characters, and by extension, in the audience. At the time of its premiere at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, Leviticus earned sweeping praise for its story and performances, surpassing the critical acclaim of Obsession, even if it does not match the latter’s record-breaking success.

Eric Stonestreet & Ferguson Talk ‘Modern Family’ Scrutiny
Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson are looking back at the television romance that made them household names.
Their “Modern Family” characters, Cameron Tucker and Mitchell Pritchett, became one of television’s most recognizable gay couples. However, that attention also brought scrutiny.
Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson featured in “Modern Family,” which ran from 2009 to 2020. The hit sitcom got 85 Emmy nominations and 22 wins during its run.

Stonestreet and Ferguson first met when producers tested potential actors for Cam alongside Ferguson, who had already been cast as Mitchell. Ferguson said the process was like speed dating with everyone waiting for the right chemistry. “I was certainly drawn to Eric as a person, he said.
Stonestreet had already auditioned three times and felt confident about his interpretation of Cam. During the network test, he suddenly felt the room go cold when a joke failed to land.
He panicked and performed a “gay Z snap,” leaving the audition convinced he had ruined his chances. Ferguson described his costar as kind, sweet, and excited to be there. The Kansas-born actor also recalled that the LGBTQ+ advocate reassured him after the audition.
Their contrasting personalities eventually became part of what made Cam and Mitch work. Ferguson explained that Mitchell found comfort in Cam’s free spirit. The Guardian reported that both actors still see their characters as a relationship built on opposites attracting.
Ferguson and Stonestreet also remain close friends despite living in different cities. Their real-life friendship has continued long after “Modern Family” ended its 11-season run in 2020.
The PDA Debate Put Stonestreet And Ferguson Under A Microscope

The Broadway veteran, Ferguson, said the PDA discussion was especially interesting because other couples on the show were not constantly scrutinized for their affection. In his words, “When you looked at all the couples on the show, there’s not a ton of PDA between Jay and Gloria either, but because we were the gay couple, we took the heat.”
Stonestreet also remembered feeling hurt by one particular assumption. Some viewers believed he avoided kissing Ferguson because Stonestreet is straight. He rejected that idea and pointed out that he had previously appeared in the gay cult film “Girls Will Be Girls,” where he made out with a drag queen.
The actors explained that the limited PDA was ultimately connected to Mitchell’s personality. The writers developed Mitchell as someone uncomfortable with public displays of affection. That storyline eventually became central to the episode “The Kiss.”
The 2010 episode handled the issue by showing Mitch sharing an affectionate moment with his father. In the background, Cam and Mitch finally shared the kiss viewers had been waiting for. Stonestreet described the speculation about his reluctance to kiss Ferguson as hurtful.
“The Kiss” became an important moment in the show’s approach to LGBTQ+ representation. “Modern Family” ultimately earned 85 Emmy nominations and 22 wins during its run, including two wins for Stonestreet.
The ‘Greatest Moment Ever’ Happened Off Camera
During a conversation on Ferguson’s “Dinner’s On Me” podcast, the actors remembered an unforgettable accident involving the show’s casting director. Stonestreet immediately called it “the greatest moment ever.” The incident happened inside the show’s craft-service area.
Ferguson explained that the space was essentially a transparent glass box sitting in the middle of the stage, complete with a kitchen, coffee machine, and seating area. The cast was eating breakfast when casting director Jeff Greenberg walked directly toward the glass.
The Kansas-born actor admitted that everyone actually watched the accident coming from far away without doing anything. Greenberg’s face print remained on the glass, and the production taped around it so the mark stayed there for months. The Blast revealed that Ferguson could barely contain his laughter when Stonestreet brought it up.
The ‘Modern Family’ Reunion

Two years after the “Modern Family” finale, Ferguson and Stonestreet reunited in New York City. The former costars shared photos and videos from their meeting on their respective Instagram accounts. The Emmy Award winner captioned his post and tagged Ferguson, “A meet-cute two years in the making. Missed this guy a lot. Love you.”
Their reunion began with an emotional hug between the longtime friends. Ferguson exclaimed, “Oh My God, Hi!” before embracing Stonestreet, who cried out, “It’s been two years.” The pair also posed together on a New York City street before sharing a particularly affectionate moment.
In one photo, Ferguson leaned over and gave Stonestreet a peck on the cheek. Ferguson captioned his own Instagram post “Huzzzbin,” while also sharing their reunion hug on his Instagram Story. The Blast reported that fans immediately flooded the comments with affection for the former on-screen husbands.
Eric Stonestreet Had A Secret Wedding

Stonestreet married Lindsay Schweitzer on September 8, 2025. It was an intimate ceremony at their Kansas City home after keeping the wedding secret. The couple had been together for years before quietly exchanging vows.
The secrecy was so extensive that even Schweitzer’s twin sons did not know about the wedding until they returned from school that day. The 54-year-old talked about the wedding with Ferguson during his appearance on the “Dinner’s on Me with Jesse Tyler Ferguson” podcast released on January 13
After they married, the Emmy Award winner sent out a prepared text containing photographs to everyone else. The September 8 date also carried personal meaning because it fell between their birthdays.
PEOPLE reported that several “Modern Family” castmates were surprised by the secret wedding but responded with congratulations and support.

Jonathon Cooper Pleads Not Guilty to Domestic Violence Charges
Denver Broncos linebacker Jonathon Cooper has pleaded not guilty to domestic violence charges after multiple June arrests.
Cooper, 28, now awaits trial, scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 10. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Friday, October 30.
The sixth-year pro faces a felony charge of second-degree assault by strangulation and three misdemeanors after he was arrested on June 4 and again on June 11.
The first arrest came after an alleged altercation that occurred after Cooper’s then-girlfriend accused him of cheating and subsequently threw his phone against a wall.
Both Cooper and his ex were arrested following the incident. An arrest affidavit obtained by ESPN revealed that a nurse who examined his girlfriend found she had been choked, leading to an injury that carried a “substantial risk of death,” including possible traumatic brain injury.
A week later, he allegedly violated a protection order by attempting to contact his ex, allegedly sending 20 text messages and calling her twice.
The weekend after his arrests, Cooper took to Instagram, where he posted a bible verse followed by a public statement.
“I apologize to my family and my friends and my community. … And so many others,” he wrote. “I realize positing a bible (verse) after something very serious happens does not just mean everything is okay.”
He added in another post, “I apologize. This situation is not who I am.”
Cooper could face between five and 16 years in prison if convicted.
The NFL placed Cooper on the commissioner’s exempt list on Sunday, August 30, meaning he cannot play in games or practice with the team, but will still be paid while the NFL reviews whether he violated the league’s personal conduct policy. A suspension from the NFL is also possible.
“’It’s part of the process,’ Broncos general manager George Paton told reporters. ‘We continue to take this very seriously. We’re going to continue to monitor all the legal developments and continue to support Jonathon. Jonathon’s worked very hard to better himself and it’ll be good to have him in the building, be in meetings and just be a part of the team.”
Head coach Sean Payton said that part of the conditions the team laid out for Cooper was for him to attend therapy. He added that while Cooper cannot play in games or practice, he is making the most out of still being able to use the team facility.
“We wait on the league,” Payton, 62, said. In the meantime, the difference now is he’s in the facility, he’s lifting, he’s in the meetings. He can’t practice, and then we just wait for this process to play out.”
Prior to going on the exempt list, Cooper played in the Broncos’ preseason games, including against the Minnesota Vikings on Friday, August 28.

Alec Baldwin’s ‘Rust’ Trial Doc Is Heading To Theaters Next Month
Actor Alec Baldwin is still making headlines over the fatal “Rust” shooting, which took the life of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October 2021. A new documentary feature by Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Rory Kennedy will hit theaters in October 2026, five years after the fatal shooting.

Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Rory Kennedy created a documentary based on years of footage following the accidental shooting of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October 2021. The feature has been acquired by Abramorama for a North American release and awards campaign, as first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The documentary will include behind-the-scenes footage from “Rust,” along with footage of the police interrogation and the legal trial that followed. “The Trial of Alec Baldwin” will open in New York on October 1 at Village East by Angelika. It will then premiere in Los Angeles on October 15 at the Laemmle Monica before heading to Laemmle Noho 7 before its theatrical release.
The Documentary Does Not ‘Shy Away From Complexity Or Discomfort’

Karol Martesko-Fenster, CEO of AB2 Media Group and Abramorama, told THR that the documentary “doesn’t shy away from complexity or discomfort,” adding, “Rory and her [life and producing] partner Mark Bailey have crafted a film that goes beyond the headlines to ask hard questions about how we assign blame, process tragedy, and judge public figures in real time. We’re honored to partner with them in bringing this story to theaters.”
Kennedy and Bailey went on to say, “We felt this was an important story for our times, a vital story about the state of our judicial system. Alec is an enduring and undeniably significant figure in Hollywood, and the trial surrounding Rust raised questions well beyond what transpired on set. Alongside Abramorama, we are eager to bring this documentary to theater audiences so that the broader public can grapple with the complex questions at the heart of the film.”
‘Rust’ Director Joel Souza Regrets Finishing The Movie
![Police in the US have released video footage from the set of the film Rust, including of the aftermath of the fatal shooting of a cinematographer by actor Alec Baldwin. Halyna Hutchins, 42, was shot by Mr Baldwin while he rehearsed with what he believed to be a safe gun. Footage, which has no audio, released shows Baldwin dressed as a cowboy rehearsing with a gun ahead of the deadly shooting. He can be seen in stills from that video posing with the gun, and with ammo / ammunition on his costume in a scene set in a church. A clapper board with Ms Hutchins' name on it can also be seen. It's not known if the gun he is holding is the one that fired the deadly bullets. The actor, who was also a producer on the film, previously said he did not pull the trigger and had no idea how a live bullet came to be on the set near Santa Fe in the US state of New Mexico. The Santa Fe County sheriff’s office released a trove of documents released to the investigation this week. 26 Apr 2022 Pictured: Alec Baldwin seen in stills from video footage of Rust rehearsals released by investigators in the US. In May 2025, Joel Souza spoke to The Guardian about the film. Although they finished production and released the film, Souza said he returned to the project only because Halyna Hutchins’ family wanted it completed.
“I’d been repelled by the thought of going back, but [then] it started to appeal. And I couldn’t live with the idea of someone else doing it,” he said at the time, although he did say that he wished he had never written the film.
“Talk about the butterfly effect — I wish I never wrote the d-mn movie,” he said. “You think about the chain of events that started that morning [of the shooting]. Bad decision after bad decision was made.”
When asked about his relationship with Baldwin, the director said that they were not “enemies,” but there is “no relationship” following the shooting. He was also not a fan of Baldwin’s reality show, “The Baldwins,” and had some pretty harsh words for the actor.
“I think I was busy hitting myself in the face with a frying pan that night [it aired],” Souza said.
Alec Baldwin Is Thinking About Retirement

In April 2026, the “30 Rock” alum said he was thinking about retiring after the shooting. At the time, he appeared as a guest on this episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, which was recorded in front of an audience at the Boulder International Film Festival.
“We had this incident, this tragedy, in New Mexico, where Halyna Hutchins was killed on the set of the film, and that was unspeakably difficult to deal with … Because of the situation in New Mexico, which was very painful, I wound up staying home a lot,” Baldwin said at the time.
“I was home with my kids for three-and-a-half years — I hardly worked at all — and that’s just changing now. I’m going to go off and do a bunch of things,” he continued. “But I was home, and I got used to it, and I don’t want to leave my house anymore. I don’t. I don’t want to work anymore. I don’t. I really don’t. I want to retire and stay home with my kids.”
He later said that he felt that he was being “edged out” of Hollywood, saying, “The offers just aren’t there.”

Ryan Murphy’s ‘American Horror Story’ Replacement Is Officially a Streaming Hit
If the title doesn’t give it away, American Horror Story is a meditation on what it means to be American, but viewed through a horror lens. The hit anthology horror series has commented on many things in American culture, pulling from different eras to build a truly unnerving experience that leaves viewers scared and contemplative. Meanwhile, the HBO hit teen drama Euphoria has proven that teen shows can go beyond crushes and simple coming-of-age topics. They can be dark and stylish. FX‘s new hit thriller combines these elements, and the show is already a hit — at least on streaming.
Set in the 1980s, this drama is a nostalgic ride back to an era defined by excess and beauty. It is also an era infamously known for giving birth to numerous serial killers, and for the show’s main character, there’s something more than meets the eye regarding a new student. That show is The Shards, the new horror-thriller created by Ryan Murphy (who created American Horror Story) for FX. Based on Bret Easton Ellis’ book of the same name, it stars Igby Rigney (Bret Ellis), Homer Gere (Robert Mallory), Kaia Gerber (Susan Reynolds), Hayes Warner (Debbie Schaffer), and Graham Campbell (Thom Wright).
The Shards has been releasing new episodes for the past four weeks and has managed to crack into the top ten of Disney’s most-watched shows. New episodes air on FX on Wednesdays at 9 pm and stream on Hulu domestically and Disney+ internationally. In its fourth week on Disney+, The Shards is ranked third globally on the platform, according to FlixPatrol. On Hulu, it is the fifth most-watched. This is a drop in rankings because the show shot to number one at premiere but has been overshadowed by hits like Furious. It means viewers may be abandoning the drama, which is reflected in the show’s reception.
What Do Critics Have To Say About ‘The Shards’?
The Shards has elicited a polarizing experience among viewers and critics. Those who love it do so wholeheartedly, and those who don’t, well, hate it. The first season managed a 56% critic score and a 44% audience score, signaling generally negative reviews. Reviewing the show for Collider, Gabrielle Moss was surprised by how restrained the show was, given that the source material is intentionally shocking. Graeme Guttman of ScreenRant echoed Moss’ sentiments, calling the adaptation “sanitized”, while Chris La Vigna of CBR had a totally different experience and described the show as masterful.
New episodes of The Shards air Wednesdays, with the season finale set for September 9.

AJ Pritchard’s Fianceè Flips The Rylee Arnold Drama Script
AJ Pritchard‘s fiancée’s feud with Rylee Arnold has taken a turn from backlash to apology.
The “DWTS: The Next Pro” contestant’s partner, Zara Zoffany, took a jab at the 21-year-old professional ballroom dancer online after she was paired with Pritchard during a guest appearance in the show’s semifinal episode.
AJ Pritchard’s fianceé’s comments sparked a lot of criticism, with many rising to Rylee Arnold’s defense. The diabetic dancer first appeared on “DWTS: Juniors” at the age of 13 before landing a spot on the main show’s pro lineup in 2023.

Zoffany took the high road after recently bringing down the heat over her fiancé’s partnering with Arnold. She took to social media to apologize for her earlier critiques of the pro dancer in the semifinal episode of “Dancing With The Stars: The Next Pro.”
Dancing the cha-cha, Pritchard was paired with Arnold, who made a guest appearance on that episode. She later told the judges that she felt Pritchard was too critical during their rehearsals. Little did anyone know that Arnold’s remarks would be the spark that ignited the viral drama.
Zoffany said that she was overwhelmed by the “constant online videos” of her man where internet users raise dust over their relationship and his sexuality with overly negative comments.
“So when I got to the Riley edit, I was already up to here with how they’ve perceived him with the villain edit, with all the criticism, all the comments, all the TikToks,” she explained.
She went on in the TikTok video explaining that she never meant to imply Arnold was not a qualified dancer, stressing that she believes she “earned her spot on “DWTS.”
“So I just want to say, if you are watching this, Riley, from the bottom of my heart, I am truly sorry if I made you feel like a certain type of way. That was never my intention,” Zoffany said.
What Did Zara Zoffany Say To Ignite The Feud?
After the semifinal episode aired, Zoffany made a lengthy comment addressing Arnold’s feedback to the judges on her partner. “[Rylee] — @aj11ace wouldn’t have had to critique you in the first place if everything had been right,” her comment began.
She went on to highlight that Pritchard had danced with social media influencer Bailey McKnight the previous week, who is “an amateur & their dance was amazing.”
As reported by US Weekly, Zoffany further alleged that Arnold hit her fiancé in the head during rehearsals, leaving him with a slight concussion that he even had to see a doctor for.
In Zoffany’s recent apology video, she mentioned that the message she wrote slamming the 21-year-old pro does not deserve the hate and death threats she has been receiving from online users.
‘DWTS’ Pro & Judge Stuck Up For Rylee Arnold
Arnold’s best friend and fellow pro, Ezra Sosa, fired back at Zoffany’s initial comment, writing that her claims made him “sick to his stomach.”
“Rylee is my best friend, I love her, and I will speak up for her. Rylee is more than qualified to be a pro, and one dance with a completely different partnership does not erase the years of training, talent, and work that earned her that title,” Sosa’s comment read.
He further described Arnold as an incredible dancer who holds high values like honesty and trust. One of the “DWTS: The Next Pro” judges, Shirley Ballas, also addressed the issue, sharing that the young pro-ballroom star had earned her place on the show through hard work and intense dedication to all dance styles.
Ballas warned against shaming other people after revealing that she has great respect for Arnold and her skills.
Inside The ‘DWTS: Junior’ Finalist’s Previous Stance On Online Negativity
In a last-year interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Arnold discussed the bright side of introducing TikTok night to the dance show and integrating social media influencers as stars on the show. During the interview, she was asked to pinpoint ways in which “TikTok has negatively impacted the show and competition.”
In response, Arnold said, “I don’t think there has been a negative impact.” She added that it has been fun so far to build a social media presence and get the younger demographic interested in watching the dances.
Arnold also touched on the ballroom dance critiques that pros receive from netizens about their choreography. She explained that they have to remember the show is designed for dances to be judged and scored. The pro dancer admitted that sometimes the criticism is hard to take, especially after a long day of giving it their all in rehearsals.
Nevertheless, they have to be professionals and not take things to heart or dive deep into the comments. Rather, Arnold advised that her fellow pros focus on the fun parts and enjoy their time on the dance floor.
Rylee Arnold Previously Thought Her Dance Career Was Over Before It Began

The Blast previously covered that Arnold opened up about a time when she thought she would not have a professional dance career. The fear stemmed from when she received her type 1 diabetes diagnosis at age 15, just two years after her first TV appearance on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.”
She revealed that she was so scared to have to give up an important part of her life due to the health challenge. Fortunately, that was not the case, and the TV personality learned to adjust and find a healthy balance for her life.
Arnold disclosed that it took years for her to finally understand her body, including the way she reacts to certain things. Learning from other people battling the same health challenge through TikTok and other social media platforms was an added advantage for the dancer.
While she has many years of dancing ahead of her, Arnold took a step back from the “DWTS” tour last year to prioritize her health.
Will Rylee Arnold respond to AJ Pritchard’s fiancée’s apology?

General Hospital LEAK: Carly Is Cuffed in Jack’s Death Case as Town Reels
Hey, General Hospital fans, we have got a new leak about Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)’s death and how it may impact Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). So, right now, it looks like Jack stumbled into the pool.
And unfortunately, the wrong person might take the fall for what may at first look like murder. But may not be that at all. Today we’re going to talk about a leak hinting that Carly could end up accused of Jack’s murder.
General Hospital: Ava Drugs Jack
So, let’s talk about what happened after Ava Jerome (Maura West) drugged the WSB station chief. I’m not sure how smart it was to give Jack a sleeping pill because it made him groggy, and he headed upstairs to just lie down. Seems like Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) offering a party pill, some of the same kind of stuff that was used on Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) would have worked better and made Jack run amok.
You know, instead he staggered into the elevator and hit a bunch of buttons trying to get to his room. Meanwhile, Drew was in Jack’s room searching it at the same time that Carly and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) were searching Drew’s office. And this week, Carly turns to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for help when she realizes all her security cameras at the Metro Court are down, and the alarms were deactivated.
Ava Warns Drew on GH
Jason says something is off. And then Ava showed up to Jack’s room and told Drew they’ve got to get the hell out of there because she has lost track of Jack. And Ava tells Drew there’s no way she’s taking the fall for this by herself. So, we had heard for a while that Brennan was going to die. And then more recently, another outlet also had a leak saying Chris McKenna was leaving General Hospital. And now it’s happened.
So, the assumption at this point is Jack staggered off the elevator by the pool, stumbled, and tripped in and drowned. Too groggy to swim. However, there could be more to it. Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) had Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonyzyn) with her, and they decided to take a night swim in the closed Metro Court pool, and she found Brennan in the water. He certainly looks dead. I mean, we’ll see if they can do CPR after pulling him out.
Either way, it looks dire, and Charlotte and Danny are freaking out. If they find a head injury on Jack, you know, that could indicate foul play. It may look like he was struck by something. But then again, because he was so drugged, he might have hit his head falling into the pool at Carly’s hotel. So, it might look like he was hit, and then later comes out to be, oh, just missed a chance. The sleeping pill may trigger some red flags. I’m assuming they’ll do a tox screen on him, and unless Jack’s got a prescription for that particular drug, that is a red flag.
General Hospital: Drew & Ava to Blame
Ultimately, unless he was physically attacked and shoved in the pool, Drew and Ava seem like the actual culprits in his death, unintentionally because Drew provided the drug and Ava administered it. Even if they didn’t intend for Jack to die, they’re still to blame. And that could send Drew and Ava to prison. But our leakers said Carly may be the one that Jack’s death is pinned on. If Charlotte and Danny confirm that Jack’s dead, they may leave him in the pool and take off. We also have General Hospital spoilers saying Danny reassures Charlotte this week, and Danny may be telling her no one saw us. Nobody would know we’re at the pool because he works at the Metro Court.
Danny may find out about the security feeds, the cameras, and the alarms being down, and he’d be able to tell Charlotte nobody could have seen them there. And then later this week, Danny comes clean to Jason, so he may tell him he and Charlotte found Jack. So, the teenagers shouldn’t be suspects. But I’m sure Jason will want to know all the details.
Nina Looks Guilty GH
And that brings us to this new leak from our behind-the-scenes source at GH who said Carly is arrested for Brennan’s death.
Now, at a glance, it seems like, how would that work, you know? But Carly has threatened Jack repeatedly for recruiting Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into the WSB. And Carly’s made no bones about how much she hates Jack. Plus, it’s her hotel and the cops might find it pretty convenient that her security feeds just happened to go down. But also, there’s another reason Carly could be implicated. Here’s why. Willow just secretly recorded Brennan confessing to erasing footage of her the night that she shot Drew.
And then Willow told Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that she did it, and she demanded Willow erase the recording. But she refused. So, a desperate Nina went to see her honey, Jack, and then got mad when he told her to just back away from Willow before she takes Nina down with her. But Nina got upset at Jack and said, “Get Willow what she wants, or you’ll be the one going down.” And Carly overheard this little heated interaction. So, here’s what I wonder. When word spreads that Jack died, Nina may worry that Willow did it.

General Hospital Leak Teases Carly’s Arrest
That she got upset, lashed out, and hurt Jack. Wouldn’t be the first time like she did the night she shot Drew. And Nina may want to pin this on somebody else to protect Willow. And since Nina hates Carly, well, she’s a top choice. So Nina may tell the cops that Carly hated Jack, even though Nina doesn’t know exactly why Carly hates him because of the Joss thing.
But Nina and Jack discussed Carly’s hatred of him. So, Nina may throw shade at Carly about being his disgruntled ex, about her cheating and then dumping Jack, and things being contentious because Nina also knows Valentin’s with Carly now. So, why not kick her, right? And Jack was harmed at Carly’s hotel. I wouldn’t be surprised if they finagle around to have her arrested.
I mean, heck, Drew might also help implicate Carly since he hates her, too. And if Drew sees that his file of secret plans that, you know, he printed out in hard copy, like it’s 1985, is missing, the same day that a package was delivered, he may suspect Carly accessed his office and ransacked it. Drew might even have his own private camera in the office. Later this week, he’s enraged, and that may be when he finds out that his office was gone through and his super secret files are missing, and so he may try and implicate Carly.
General Hospital: Drew’s Vengeful Move
Another spoiler this week says Drew does something vengeful, and that could be a frame job on Carly, which would help him and Ava because Drew knows they’re the reason that Jack wound up losing that game of Marco Polo at the Metro Court.
So Drew and Ava may give each other an alibi. Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) wasn’t at home because she was hanging out with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). So Drew and Ava could say they were at his place in bed.
But there’s another suspect who actually seems more viable than Carly. For instance, Nina was arguing in public with Jack, and Carly saw. So did others.
Plus, Kai just told Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that he suspects Willow pushed Drew into the lake and tried to kill him again. So Alexis may go to the cops. But Willow has a very clear alibi for when Drew went into the lake: Willow was at the Metro Court having drinks with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). So she was nearby when Jack died.
Carly in Trouble on GH
And if Alexis says, “Look, I know she shot Drew, but going from Drew, who’s her jerk gaslighting husband, to killing the WSB chief, it doesn’t necessarily make sense.” Fortunately, nobody but Nina knows that Willow taped Brennan. And it also wasn’t in Willow’s best interest to kill Jack because she wanted him to get evidence against Michael. Also, Drew was drugged.
So, Drew might tell the police that Carly got someone to drug him, even though it was actually Nina because the drug dealer’s gone and can’t cooperate, and Nina wouldn’t come forward and go, “Oh no, I’m the one who paid the hooker to drug the congressman.” Plus, Carly’s a repeat offender. She drugged AJ back in the day. She drugged Rick.
And of course, Carly owns the hotel. She had access and motive because she hates Jack for recruiting Josslyn. And I think Anna Devane is pretty clear she knows this, and she’s the police chief. But it could have been somebody else entirely. And maybe Jack didn’t just accidentally drown. Maybe he was attacked, you know, while he was groggy, and Jack couldn’t fight the person off, and it was a crime of opportunity. We’ll know more soon.

Jonathan Bailey Exits ‘George’ Following Ariana Grande
‘Wicked” star Jonathan Bailey has announced that he will be stepping down from his role in the upcoming West End revival of “Sunday in the Park With George.” Notably, this comes after the show’s other lead, Ariana Grande, announced her exit roughly one month ago. Now, the question becomes: will the show go on after the two major exits?

Bailey took to Instagram Stories to announce that he would no longer be starring in the planned production of “Sunday In the Park With George.” He did so by first referencing Grande’s exit from the show, noting their deep bond after they appeared in both “Wicked” films.

He stated, “Ari is one of my dearest friends, and my support for her is unwavering.” After that, he mentioned the show’s director, Marianne Elliott, writing, “Marianne is extraordinary and one of my longest collaborators and friends. After much consideration, I have decided to also step back from Sunday in the Park with George.”
The “Bridgerton” actor continued, “This brilliant, introspective musical has been a real passion project for me, and I feel incredibly lucky to have shared in its journey with this team. Among many things, the story explores the deep connection between George and Dot, a beautiful, devoted pairing, and I so look forward to seeing what the team, and the two actors who will now take on these roles, will create with it.”
The ‘Wicked’ Star Wished The Production Well

Currently, the West End revival of “Sunday in the Park With George” is set to debut in Summer 2027 at the Barbican Centre in London. However, now that both of its leads have exited, it’s unclear whether this will still happen or whether the show will need to be postponed or canceled altogether.
Still, Bailey offered kind thoughts to the production. He said, “I wish the very best to the entire company with what will no doubt be an incredible production, and I will be cheering them on as they continue this journey.”
Ariana Grande Announced Her Exit In Early August

Grande and Bailey were first announced to lead “Sunday in the Park With George” in January 2026. After this, both expressed excitement about reuniting following the success of “Wicked.” However, following the release of her latest album and the continuation of her tour, Grande’s representative revealed she’d be stepping down from the role on August 2.
The statement, per “Good Morning America,” began, “Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour.”
It continued, “She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.”
The statement then said, “This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.”
Jonathan Bailey Recently Discussed His Upcoming Projects

Before exiting “Sunday in the Park With George,” Bailey spoke to Esquire about his upcoming projects, including a Netflix film, “Monsanto,” set for release in 2027. The actor shared, “When I read the ‘Monsanto’ script, I was thinking a lot about how you can show up with meaning and find something that takes you out of your life again. I love legal dramas, and the story itself is extraordinary.”
In discussing his co-stars, he said, “It’s got an amazing cast, and John Lee Hancock, who directed, tells the story so clearly and succinctly.”
Additionally, he spoke about the play, saying, “And then I’ll be back onstage again next year, in ‘Sunday in the Park with George.’ So I feel very, very excited and sort of recalibrated. It’s been a great time.”
The Actor Is Expected To Appear In ‘Bridgerton’ Season 5

“Bridgerton” remains one of Netflix’s most popular original series, with Bailey having appeared alongside the cast since season one despite being in fewer episodes during season four. Production, which takes place in the United Kingdom, began in March 2026 and is expected to conclude in October. Bailey is expected to return for the upcoming season.
It’s unclear when the series will return; beyond that, it will arrive sometime in 2027.
