Chad Gable reveals unique plan ahead of WWE RAW

Chad Gable revealed his unique plan ahead of tonight’s episode of WWE RAW in Mexico City. The veteran used to portray El Grande Americano but lost the rights to the character after losing at Noche de Los Grandes on May 30.

Gable took to Instagram today ahead of his Intercontinental Championship defense against Dragon Lee tonight on WWE RAW. The champion noted that Mexico gave him something he will never forget on May 30 with their crowd reaction to the El Grande Americano vs. El Grande Americano match. He vowed to return the favor tonight during his Intercontinental Championship defense.

“I received something from the Mexican people on May 30th that I will never forget. 🇲🇽 Tonight, I’m walking back in for the first time – as champion. And I’m going to return the favor. I will defend the Intercontinental Title on RAW in Mexico City for the first time in its history. See you tonight, amigos. ✌🏽,” he wrote.

Chad Gable captured the Intercontinental Championship by defeating Penta at SummerSlam 2026. Penta won a tournament to become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship and will be facing Roman Reigns for the title tonight on RAW.

Chad Gable reveals how The Undertaker could help WWE’s main roster

WWE RAW star Chad Gable recently detailed how The Undertaker could help the main roster.

Speaking on the Huge Pop! podcast, Chad Gable shared that The Undertaker gave him a speech during the El Grande Americano rivalry that lit a fire under him. The Intercontinental Champion suggested that the legend could give a similar speech to WWE’s main roster to get the best out of them.

“I’ve credited Undertaker a ton of times throughout this follow-up to that [Mask vs. Mask] match for pulling that out of me. The ability, the willingness to just go out there and feel it, and not worry so much. I don’t want to volunteer Undertaker for anything, but man, if he could give that same speech that he gave to me. I can’t really even use the words he used in some of the speeches he gave to me to pull it out of me, but if he could give that to the main roster and really get through to people, we’d see a revolution.
