Britney Spears is determined to be the best to her boys, Jayden Federline and Preston Federline. 

The pop icon shares her two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline. The pair got married in September 2004 and welcomed Preston a year later. Jayden was born the following year, in 2006. 

Despite a rocky past with the boys, Spears seems to be doing all she can to be a great mother to her children, and she is letting the world know it! 

Over the weekend, the “Toxic” singer took to her Instagram to wish her son a happy birthday in an emotional post. 

“Happy birthday to my handsome young boy. Oh dear Lord, we have this beautiful thing called life in front of u; it’s such a beautiful, delicate thing,” the caption on the carousel read.

The first photo showed her son in a button-down flannel shirt and black pants while posing for a photo. She completed the post by saying, “I hope I can be the best mommy in the world every day of ur life!!!!”

The second photo took followers down memory lane, showing a throwback photo where he sported a red T-shirt, the hem held between his teeth to show his stomach. 

Britney Spears Also Wished Son Preston A Happy Birthday 

Her son Preston was not left out of the birthday wishes, as just hours later, she followed up with a second post to wish Preston a happy birthday. 

“Happy early B-day to u as well,” the Pop icon posted. Preston turned 20 on Monday, September 14, while his younger brother turned 19 on September 12, just two days before. 

“Please stop working out so much because your muscles r starting to scare me …. JK! Well…I’m so proud of the young man you have become,” a proud Spears wrote.

The photo showed an old picture of the singers and her boys in a golf cart, and she added: “P.S. This was in London, strolling in the park …. Preston absolutely loved London!!!”

Spectacular Smith is being sued for assault, battery and sexual assault. TMZ broke the news about the Pretty Ricky star on Sunday (Sept. 13). According to the lawsuit docs, the alleged attack appears to have happened nearly a year ago. The alleged victim, Alexis Dieng, says he not only assaulted her but also recorded it.

Woman Alleges Spectacular Smith Raped Her In Private Residence

TMZ reports that Alexis Dieng filed the lawsuit against Spectacular on August 12, 2026, according to court documents obtained by Radar Online. She says Smith reached out to her on Instagram on October 23, 2025, seeking restaurant recommendations. After talking for several hours and gaining her trust, Dieng says he arranged for them to meet in person. She says he then switched the meet-up location to a residence in Maricopa County, Arizona. Dieng adds that she arrived at the residence alone at around 10:30 p.m. on October 24.

While at the residence, Alexis alleges the Pretty Ricky singer initiated the physical contact. He allegedly put his hands on her neck to the point of restricting her breathing. Also, she says in the lawsuit that he had sexual intercourse with her without her consent. As mentioned, Dieng also indicated that he recorded “all or part of the incident without her consent,” per TMZ.

Woman Sought A Rape Exam & Reported Incident To Local Police

Additionally, the lawsuit says Alexis Dieng underwent a forensic sexual-assault examination at a Phoenix Family Advocacy Center on October 25. The examination reportedly found tenderness and redness in her vaginal area, along with tenderness, redness and an indentation on the right side of her neck, per The Daily Mail.

Also, she reported the alleged assault to the Phoenix Police Department, which created a case report and identified Spec as the suspect. In a statement to The Daily Mail, the Phoenix PD said it is still investigating the incident and no arrests have been made.

Alexis is seeking justice, says her lawyer. For her that reportedly includes a jury trial and punitive damages. In the last year, she said she’s received treatment at Carl T. Hayden Veterans’ Administration Medical Center for the incident. She’s also allegedly gotten continuous medical and psychological care following the alleged assault. The Shade Room reached out to Spec directly for comment, but has not received a response.

Singer Previously Cleared Of Liability In Battery Case

Last year, Spectacular Smith walked away from cutting a major check. He was first arrested in 2020 for an incident involving a Disney World employee. Smith and the employee got into an argument following the singer’s coronavirus joke with his son. When the employee tried to block Smith’s path forward, he allegedly reacted by punching the employee in the face. His bond was set for $500, but prosecutors later dropped the related battery charge. Five years later, in April 2025, a jury found Spec not liable in a $5 million civil lawsuit the employee had filed against him.

The biker horror-thriller hits nationwide platforms the same night, adding another credit to a year that’s already included a buzzy short film alongside Adrien Grenier.

“The Iron Door” has its world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre on September 17, releasing simultaneously across Amazon, Fandango, Google Play, YouTube, cable VOD and home video. The film adds a directing credit to Garrett Patten’s résumé, one more piece of a 2026 that’s kept him busy on both sides of the camera.

Before “The Iron Door” release, Patten co-directed and starred in “Self Custody,” a 31-minute thriller centered on a financially struggling father who discovers he’s sitting on a forgotten Bitcoin fortune, if he can remember how to access it. Patten took acting classes specifically to play the lead role of Scott, and he shared the screen with “Entourage” alum Adrien Grenier, two-time UFC champion Henry Cejudo, and Odette Annable.

Shot in Austin, “Self Custody” premiered at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Mueller during SXSW and is now streaming on Prime Video, Tubi and Plex. Patten has said the idea grew out of a friend’s real experience. “A friend that had lost his job learned that in the past, he was gifted crypto, and he actually went on this journey to try to recover it,” Patten explained. The short’s reception was strong enough that TBK Productions is now developing it into a television series exploring the broader Bitcoin community.

With “The Iron Door,” a low-budget indie Patten actually made a few years back, he steps behind the camera as director.  The film pulls from a real desert legend in California’s Yucca Valley, tied to gold miner Johnny Lang and stories that have circulated in the region for a century.

“You’ve got to have such a passion for each of those projects that you just can’t quit,” Patten has said of what it takes to make it as an independent filmmaker, a philosophy that tracks with a résumé that’s grown to include a supporting role in a Bitcoin thriller and directing a feature built around desert folklore.

Patten founded TBK Productions, and the company has been busy well beyond “The Iron Door.” Its slate includes “In the Hand of Dante,” and “Family Movie,” along with the in-development “Self Custody” series. Patten has also teased two upcoming projects: a narrative centered on The Grateful Dead as seen through the eyes of children, and a biopic centered on Mike Tyson.

Plus, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) is back to scheming and feels totally justified in what she’s plotting.

Beyond the Gates: Things Look Grim for Kat & Tomas

Spoilers indicate more trouble for Tomas Hernandez (Alex Alegria) and Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad). Plus, Smitty (Mike Manning) is in the hot seat and could face arrest soon. Let’s get right into it. Monday, September 14th on Beyond the Gates, we’ve got Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) learning from Smitty that there is no turning back.

Looks like this may be about the sweat shop rumors that are damaging Chelsea and Kat’s business reputation because Smitty is investigating it. Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) is surprised by what Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) has to say and he may be telling Martin about Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) struggling with her voice or Leslie’s negotiations being a hassle for Anita. Or it’s possible Vernon gives Martin some advice he may need it after Smitty was questioned by Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) last week.

Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) is able to calm Anita down. They may be discussing her guilt over Barbara that Anita just can’t shake. Plus, of course, she’s worried about her voice never coming back the way it was once. Anita does a Google search on whether chemotherapy can permanently impact vocal cords. It’s rare, but Google says for regular people, it’s not a big deal.

But they said for professional singers who need to be able to perform in a certain range and with a lot of breath and vocal range, it just may not come back like they need. Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) and Jacob lean on each other. They are on opposite sides of a police investigation and are both worried about family. So, it’s really stressful. Bill is going to grill his wife after catching Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) in yet another lie.

And Tomas extends an olive branch to Kat. Tomas may ask for the purse for his abuela, but he may find out Kat gave it to Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe) for his mom, Darlene. If so, Tomas won’t be happy and may circle back to Eva Thomas Richardson (Ambyr Michelle) to vent some more. Tuesday, September 15th on Beyond the Gates, the topic of Heather has Nicole and Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) clashing. Nicole thinks that Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) is dangerous and Vanessa seems very misguided about Heather even though Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) has repeatedly warned her about his sister.

Beyond the Gates: Leslie on Blast

Ted confronts Leslie and Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) is going to join in. Looks like it starts with Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson), Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy), and Leslie. When Ted runs into Leslie with Marcel at Orphe Jeans. So Ted tells Leslie it’s pathetic how she keeps trying to ruin things for him and Shanice. Marcel defends Leslie and tells him, “Bring it down, Doc.” But Ted says, “No.”

And Leslie gets a big smile and is saying, “Settle down, boys.” She’s deluded. She thinks Ted and Marcel are actually fighting over her at this point. Joey and Mona get hit with urgent questions and it’s from an unlikely source. Hayley sounds an alarm and she may run tell Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) about Naomi telling Bill about the fake sonogram and about the issues with the Pacemaker app.

Beyond the Gates: Darlene is Thrilled

Wednesday, September 16th on Beyond the Gates, we have got Izaiah making Darlene’s day. So, he might have taken that pretty green Kat bag for his mom. After all, Anita is counseling Kat. So, we may have her turning to her grandma, Anita, after she and Tomas are bickering again. Leslie’s loyalty to her family legacy is starting to get overbearing. Now that she heard Barbara sing, I expect Leslie gets even more territorial where the Articulettes project is concerned.

Also, Jacob’s investigation takes a big turn and he brings Smitty down to the police station. Naomi is there representing Smitty and then Jacob shows Smitty some footage and photos on a tablet and asks, “Is that you?” And Smitty says, “It appears to be.” That wording is important. And Jacob asks, “What is Max slipping you in the photo?” Then Naomi asks, “Are you charging Smitty?”

We have Heather stunning Smitty on Wednesday. He doesn’t know that she’s the Impaler, but what Heather may be stunning him with is doctored footage to implicate Smitty in a crime because Joey said she can’t kill him. Vanessa and Randy discussed their regrets.

No doubt it is about Doug McBride (Jason Graham). They both watched him spiral into gambling. Randy was actively encouraging it for Joey and Vanessa was too busy doing other men and then doing Joey. Bottom line, they miss Doug. Thursday, September 17th on Beyond the Gates. Smitty panics as Martin and Naomi rally around him.

BTG Spoilers: Smitty Set Up

Smitty likely knows the footage the police have is digitally altered, and the obvious conclusion is the Impaler is setting him up to get him out of the way and disgrace him. Naomi will do all she can as his lawyer. Leslie pulls a confession from Marcel. This may be about their future as a couple. And Danny has gifts for Anita from Soul and gets an update from her mom. Bill is in over his head.

So, it looks like Hayley may have dosed him again because we see Bill’s hand tremble and then he slumps in his chair at the office and falls unconscious and then he comes to. Again, this is ongoing. Vernon wants Andre to open up to him, but I doubt he’ll tell his father-in-law what’s going on with Heather. However, Andre may mention he caught Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) giggling and texting with Bill. Friday, September 18th on Beyond the Gates, Bill admits something shocking to Dani.

Bill Stuns Danny on BTG

He heads over to her house after his latest spell at the office and Bill tells Dani he thinks he is dying. Andre gets a mea culpa. So, Dani’s telling Andre she owes him an apology and he asks for what and Dani says not a what but a who. And I’m sure she addresses him seeing her texting with Bill. We also have Kat turning the tables on Chelsea. And this may come after she grills Kat asking if she is into Isaiah. Kat gets really sarcastic and says into her phone, “We are just friends.”

And Chelsea asks what she’s doing. And Kat says, “I’m translating it into Spanish since you obviously can’t understand me.” Eva and Ted have a heart-to-heart. I’m guessing the topic is Leslie as usual and her ongoing antics. Eva will be horrified to find out what Leslie did with Shanice’s brothers to sabotage Ted. Shanice and Ashley are bracing themselves for serious shakeups at work.

Beyond the Gates: Leslie Replaces Anita?

And then the week of September 21-25 Beyond the Gates, we have more with Leslie. So, after she got to hear Barbara’s voice on that cassette, if you remember, right after that, Eva said that Leslie’s voice sounds just like Barbara’s voice. That feels like some heavy foreshadowing that’s going to come up again this week. Anita’s voice is not ready for the Articulettes project and unfortunately it may never be or it may just be a long time coming.

Beyond the Gates: Anita is Worried

But she doesn’t want to let down Sharon and Tracy. So, Anita may look for alternate solutions. Tomas tries to protect his future career at Bill’s firm. But if Hayley convinced him to go after Naomi, that’s not a good idea for many reasons. Chelsea may nudge Kat towards Izaiah because she dislikes Tomas, but that would cause Kat and Eva to go back to actively feuding, which is not good for the Dupree family. Ted and Shanice move forward despite the stunt that Leslie put in their path. Ted’s going to have to work harder to win over Shanice’s brothers, but I think he’s going to stick with it.

And with Deanna McBride (Angela Fairley) going back to Banneker University, the Deanna and Doug problem may slide to the back burner, which would be a huge relief for Vanessa and also Joey. Smitty has Naomi and Martin worried about him. They are scrambling to find the best plan of attack to help him with this frame job, and I wonder if Jacob will push back on Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik) and suggest they check to see if the footage was digitally altered. Joey’s suspicions grow as Heather’s plans pick up speed and lots more.

Ultimately, she and her friend got into the car with Boosie and his friend, and allegedly went to another lounge. Afterward, they arrived at a hotel — which is where they were spotted and recorded by a fan. Then, upon getting to his room, she alleged that Boosie exposed her chest.

Subsequently, she allegedly asked him for money, to which he refused, apparently became agitated, and asked his friend to have her leave.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Boosie shared a photo of himself and his fiancée after a fan captured a clip of him and Icelyn hopping out of a black truck together. Additionally, he alleged that he never “touched” Icelyn.

Earlier today, Icelyn spoke out in a separate video, alleging that Boosie was texting her, begging her to clear things up, per The Shade Room.

“And not only that, y’all got him and his wife in a uproar because they definitely called me yelling at the top of their lungs a whole week later. When is this going to be over? I’m tired of getting accused of doing something I didn’t do. Any more questions?” she said.

Then, the rapper spoke out with his own clips, per The Shade Room. In addition to saying that he wished more positive news was covered about him, he alleged that Icelyn tried to sell herself to him, but he refused.

2026 has been a stellar year for TV, especially drama shows, and the most prestigious of them all was officially awarded tonight with the honor of a lifetime. There are more than enough streaming options for fans of all genres nowadays, but when it came time to give out the Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series this year, the two platforms who had the most nominations were HBO Max and Apple TV. For HBO Max, its three most successful shows of the year were The Gilded Age, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and The Pitt. All three shows have new seasons on the way, and the Game of Thrones spin-off, which is a personal favorite of author George R.R. Martin, is expected to return as early as next year.

Meanwhile, Apple TV also had some serious players on TV this year with Pluribus, Slow Horses, and Your Friends and Neighbors. Similar to the aforementioned HBO shows, there is variance here with sci-fi thrillers like Pluribus and slow-burn spy thrillers like Slow Horses, but all three shows are confirmed to return for new seasons. Your Friends and Neighbors was also written and created for TV by Jonathan Tropper, who also penned the script for Shawn Levy’s new Star Wars movie coming to theaters in 2028. Only two other streaming services had shows were awarded with nominations for Outstanding Drama Series — The Diplomat scored a nomination for Netflix and Paradise Season 2 earned a nod for Hulu. This is as stacked a field for Outstanding Drama Series as we’ve ever seen, but for one of the rare times in history, there has been a repeat winner.

Who Won Best Drama Series at the 2026 Emmys?

For the second year in a row, it was The Pitt that took home the award for Outstanding Drama Series. HBO’s hit medical drama starring Noah Wyle had some incredible competition, and it wouldn’t have been surprising to see the award go to any of the other shows that were nominated. However, it’s safe to say that The Pitt more than deserved its win for Outstanding Drama Series, and also deserved its other wins that went to various stars for their leading and supporting performances.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the two weeks that start September 14th with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) coming up with an insane plan when he’s desperate to save his marriage from exploding. Plus, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) is really anxious because Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) seems to be falling apart.

Also, coming up during the two weeks of September 14-25, we’ve got Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) feeling guilty when he really shouldn’t and he turns to both his mom Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and also Steffy’s mom, Taylor. Let’s jump right in.

Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy is Sure Carter’s the Daddy

Monday, September 14th on The Bold and the Beautiful, carrying over from Friday, Steffy and Carter discuss her pregnancy. I expect he’ll ask if Steffy is sure. And she tells Carter she took several pregnancy tests. Yes, she is definitely pregnant.

She seems certain that it is Carter’s baby. Now, you’d think odds are it’s Finn because they do the deed quite frequently, but Steffy might know for certain because of their birth control. She seems convinced that she and Carter cannot hide their night together because of this pregnancy.

You know, maybe she knows it’s Carter’s or maybe she suspects the worst will happen and Steffy doesn’t want to light a fan and go behind his back for a DNA test. Especially not after the whole Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) thing when she needed a test when she was pregnant with Hayes.

This week up at Forrester Creations, Taylor tells Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) she’s worried about Steffy and that their daughter seems off. And I wonder if Ridge will take these concerns of Taylor’s seriously or if he will just brush them off thinking it’s about work. If so, he is wrong as he usually is.

B&B Spoilers: Li Supports Finn

Also, Li Finnegan returns on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. So, Finn is going to have multiple scenes with his mom. And I look forward to all those because he’s pretty stressed out. And Finn is going to tell Li yet again that he will do absolutely anything for his family. I’m sure this is Finn swearing to Li that he’ll never let Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) come between him and Steffy and that he kicked Sheila out of their lives.

So, Steffy won’t have a reason not to trust Finn. But he also sees that Steffy is really worked up about something and he assumes it’s Sheila. In the end, Finn’s going to feel like an idiot for apologizing and praising Steffy for being so loyal and perfect, you know. I think he’s going to be enraged when he finds out she spent the night with Carter. But I do have a feeling Finn won’t find out for quite some time.

Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: Daphne Opens Up to Taylor and Ridge

Tuesday, September 15th on The Bold and the Beautiful. Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) is hoping that she and Carter can find a surrogate who is the perfect match now that they’ve landed on this as their best way to have a baby. But Carter needs to race to stop Steffy. So, he and Daphne are talking in the showroom at Forrester and he runs out on her abruptly. But on the way out, Carter says he will do everything to make her dreams come true. And I think he means literally everything. After he takes off, Daphne talks to Ridge and Taylor.

And Ridge is asking Daphne, “As long as she and Carter get the baby they want, does it really matter who helps them?” Well, Daphne says she prefers somebody that they know and trust. She knows Steffy, but at this point really can’t trust her. Wednesday, September sixteenth on The Bold and the Beautiful. Finn’s trying to ease Steffy’s pain. Finn’s worried because Steffy is nearly hyperventilating. She’s in tears and tells Finn there’s something he needs to know.

Steffy’s freaking out, saying, “Oh god, oh god.” And then Carter burst in and he’s going to make a very impassioned plea. So, it looks like he might get there in the nick of time to stop Steffy from confessing to Finn and then Carter is going to talk to her alone. So, at the cliff house, Carter’s telling Steffy he has a way out of this situation for everybody. I am fully expecting Carter to pitch a surrogacy scheme. I’ll be surprised if it’s something else.

B&B Spoilers: Carter Presses Steffy

However, I think Steffy will give Carter a lot of push back. She’ll probably think it’s insane and he may be certain that it’s the only way to save both of their marriages. Thursday, September 17th on The Bold and the Beautiful. Carter’s suggestion has Daphne in disbelief. I expect Carter to pitch to Daphne that Steffy will be their egg donor and their surrogate. Daphne already knew Steffy had frozen eggs and because she told Daphne also last week that she would do anything for her and Carter, I think that she will believe it.

And while Daphne may be shocked at first, I think she’ll be open to this because she told Ridge she’d be more comfortable having the surrogate be somebody she knows and trusts. So, on the surface, Steffy seems perfect, but this is all Carter’s scheme. Both Finn and Ridge may be supportive. And if Carter and Steffy get away with this, nobody will ever know really because the DNA test will support a surrogacy story since it will be Steffy and Carter’s child biologically, which is the same thing it would be if it was really IVF.

Bold Spoilers: Steffy Stunned

Friday, September 18th on The Bold and the Beautiful, we’ve got Steffy completely caught off guard. And this could be Daphne wanting to talk to Steffy about the surrogacy or it could be Finn catching Steffy off guard by wanting to know what is going on because by the end of the week, Finn’s asking Taylor for her support. Finn’s really worried about Steffy since she was falling apart and in tears earlier in the week. Plus, we have Taylor extremely worried about Steffy. And Taylor may corner Steffy soon, asking what’s going on because to her mom, it looks like Steffy’s falling apart.

The week of September 21-25 on The Bold and the Beautiful. We’ll find out if Steffy is completely on board with Carter’s plan. They are going to have to act fast and Steffy might have no choice when Daphne blindsides her. So, it looks like Carter is going to talk Steffy and Daphne both into it. So, he may suggest, look, we’ll use one of Steffy’s eggs. We’ll use her as a surrogate. But the problem is he’s lying right to Daphne’s face, and eventually when it all comes out, it’s going to be so ugly.

We’ll see if Steffy confides in Taylor when she sits down with her daughter about her apparent anxiety, especially after Finn turns to Taylor with his concerns about Steffy. We’ll see more of Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan) this week, more of Dylan and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) getting closer because we know he’s all in with Dylan. Now, we’re going to see R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) working on their new line, and I’m curious to see what is next with Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) and how involved he is.

Bold and the Beautiful Fall Spoilers Promise Chaos

Then, we’ve got fall spoilers for The Bold and the Beautiful. So, the aftermath of Carter and Steffy’s one night stand and how they handle it could affect them for years to come. Specifically, an official CBS spoiler said Carter and Steffy grapple with the secret born from their night together that threatens to destroy their marriages. The word born in that spoiler is such a big red flag. Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is going to keep finding success in the fashion world and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is going to keep hating that.

And as Katie is enjoying her success, she makes some moves that make Brooke think Katie has gone too far. She’s already gone so far, so it seems kind of wild she would think something is too far. We’re going to find out lots more about Dylan. We’re going to get lots more of Darcy, but Katie is watching them both like a hawk. Electra’s relationship with R.J. intensifies, but a part of her will always want Will, but the Forresters stick to the fact that Forresters and Spencers don’t belong together.

The Bold and the Beautiful is going to bring some new people in who may cause new problems for Electra. We know that some of her family is coming, so it might be them that are causing issues for her. Deke Sharpe) (Harrison Cone) is going to get a new man in his life, and we’ll see if Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) is around to interfere. Taylor’s rejection is going to eat at Deacon, and he’s really hoping that she’ll change her mind. And we’re going to see a whole lot of Sheila Carter because she will not give up on Deacon or Finn or Steffy and Hayes.
