Capitals trade John Carlson to Ducks for two picks

Published

on

The Ducks are sending a conditional first-round pick in either 2026 or 2027 and a 2027 third-round pick to complete the deal.

The 36-year-old blue-liner ranks second in Capitals franchise history in games played, third in assists, fifth in points and second in plus/minus.

Through 55 games in 2025-26, Carlson has 10 goals, 36 assists and a plus-11 rating for a Washington team that hasn’t been able to crack the playoff picture and now is choosing to go in a different direction.

How to get Shu’halo Perspective Painting at a major discount

Published

on

WoW Midnight features the Shu’halo Perspective Painting that you can buy for 9M gold, but there’s also a secret discount! It’s a ridiculous painting that you can buy for gold cap of a Shu’halo, which are the ancient ancestors of the Tauren. It’s really for only the most cultured players, or for those who want to flex just how much wealth they have in-game. If you want to get it on the cheap, you can do so for 999g, but it’ll take some work.

There are two routes to getting the Shu’halo Perspective Painting at a discount in WoW, and we’ll go over both of them below. If you want this fascinating painting for your house in World of Warcraft, or just want to flex, here’s what you need to do. You don’t even need to farm Silvermoon Court rep (or any faction)! This one’s super easy.

How to get the Shu’halo Perspective Painting in WoW at a discount instead of 9M gold

If you want the Shu’halo Perspective Painting for the major discount of 999 gold instead of 9M gold in WoW, you just need to get all 13 of Sargle’s Fortunes. Both the Fortunes, and the painting itself, are found in the Murder Row dungeon. Thankfully, it won’t take very long to get to either NPC, and you can do it in a Follower Dungeon.

Once per day per character, you can go to Soothsayer Sargle in Murder Row and ask for a fortunetelling. They sit to the immediate left, just before you enter the first boss room. They will give you Sargle’s Fortune #1 – #13 at random. Since you can do this once per character, you can go in on as many level 80s as you want, provided they have a 100 item level (minimum to do Follower/Normal dungeons).

You can approach this in one of two ways. You can either collect the fortunes with one character/several characters, which will take anywhere from 13 days to half a week, depending on how many characters you use. It shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes or so to get the fortune per character.

Conversely, you can also just buy them on the Auction House, but players have really started spiking the prices, when they realized it’s a way to get the Shu’halo Perspective Painting at a discount in WoW. People are trying to make bank on them, and I can’t fault them for that. It’s much cheaper to just wait, and go daily on a few characters.

When you have all thirteen of the Fortunes in your inventory, head to the first boss room of Murder Row. Look to the screenshot above, and you’ll see Craven Lorent, an interactable NPC in the back of the room. If you have all thirteen, you’ll see the dialogue option Why is that painting so cheap? If you see that, you can buy the painting for 999g, instead of 9,999,999g.

Be aware that you will need to talk to the four Snitches though when you’re ready to buy the Shu’halo Perspective Painting in WoW, though. Otherwise, you can’t get into the boss room.

It’s as easy as that! Sure, you can brag that you spent ten million gold on something in World of Warcraft, but why? This is a much easier way. If you don’t care about that, you can instead, just get the fortunes, and try to flip them for a profit on the Auction House. The fortunes themselves are free, so it could be a way to make some quick gold, until people forget about the painting.
