No one’s noticed the moment Traitors star Rachel revealed ‘secret plot’ against Stephen
As we narrow in on The Traitors final, Rachel and Stephen’s traitorous pact received a broadside last night, which it might not be able to recover from.
The turret two were deciding their penultimate murder when Rachel shared that she is facing serious suspicions from Faraaz, who appears to have woken from a daze at the very last moment to wreck the Traitors’ carefully laid plans.
After the haphazard roundtable, Faraaz laid out his suspicions to Rachel in the hopes of dodging murder if he’s right.
‘I’ve been toying it in my head and I think it’s either one of Jade and Stephen and I think the other one might be you,’ he said, turning to Rachel.
But then when the Traitors gathered in the turret, BBC viewers noticed that wasn’t quite the full picture that Rachel relayed to Stephen.
‘I was questioned for the first time properly tonight. Faraaz just said, “I’m suspicious of you,” she told him, before actively saying he might hear whispers that she’s spreading his name around.

But it was Rachel’s failure to repeat Faraaz’s suspicions of Stephen that has left viewers wondering if that is how she plans to make it to the final, by stirring up with Faraaz against Stephen.
Taking to X, Stephen Leask wrote: ‘Rachel withheld that Faraaz also suspects Stephen (and Jade). Rachel is setting Stephen up to be the Traitor banished in the final 5.’
Tom echoed: ‘Faraaz hasn’t told Stephen he suspects him and Rachel didn’t mention it. He’s saving that.’
Meanwhile over on Reddit, the same theory popped up on a debrief of the latest episode, with one fan deducing: ‘She’s gunning for him.’
Their fate could all come down to who they decide to murder, with the fate of two contestants hanging in the balance for the penultimate episode of this series.
The murder shortlist consisted of 22-year-old Faraaz and 32-year-old Roxy. Rachel said: ‘The benefits of murdering Faraaz are he’s getting close to the truth.’
Meanwhile Stephen expressed doubts about murdering Roxy: ‘I think she really believes both of us are Faithfuls.’
We’ll just have to wait until tonight’s instalment to see who the next Faithful to fall is.
The Traitors continues on BBC One and iPlayer on Thursday at 8pm.
